dear all,

as the new life has begun since marriage, plus my study time has been increasing, i decide to close this blog. it's really hard and pity to do so, when i have blogged for years (although not so quite often). from bottom of my heart i appreciate the time my readers spent and connection with people through this blog. you know what, my boyfriend who is now my husband got attraction by glancing here and then we started to date. i also got a chance to meet artist Rich Streitmatter-Tran, who introduced me to the art community which opened my eyes to my real universe and changed my whole life. and many many other great people...

frankly saying i don't have much interest in talking about lingerie, in term of its erotic attraction unless the concept of their design or campaign is really abnormally appealing. from magazine's order, i wrote some lines about Victoria's Secret, hence i tried not to focus much on models' boobs but something out of the box. of course, the curves are incapable not to mention as woman's beauty which we female creatures are proud of ourselves.

Arts Network Asia Grant

yes, autumn has come and this is also the time of hunting for grants of residency, projects or research. today i bring you another news: grant from Arts Network Asia, which i used to work for a while back years ago.
this grant is exclusively for projects taking place in Asia, which highlights the interaction between arts and community. i mean, community is not such charity work, but the core of your artworks/projects should not be merely reflect one self's sensation. one project got granted that i really like is from Cao Changdi Studio, Bejing. the idea of giving camera to normal people to make documentaries is not new. but they have executed their idea very well from choosing the people who participate in, the way they instruct those amateur (farmer, hair dresser, worker, village administrator, village teacher,...) how to tell their own stories through the lens of camera, how to be honest in filming,... yeah, that's one example.
if interested in, you can check the site of Arts Network Asia, it's very helpful since it functions in 11 Asian languages. if you're based in such countries where there are ANA's committee members, you can ask for their advice too. contact me if you're from Vietnam or would do a project in Vietnam. i can introduce you to the commitee members.
the application must be sent before the 15th November.

sorry for the lack of updating residency program. since i postponed to work in order to study in 3 years, my hunting for artist's residency program has decreased. sorry sorry.
anyways today i've got a good news for Arts Managers (Fellows Mentoring), Theatrical Designers, and Jazz Musicians from some countries in Asian (Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, China,...), Africa, Middle East and South America. it's the the Cultural Visitors and Fellows Mentoring Program, granted by Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs – Cultural Programs Division.

Khách mời cũng sẽ được thăm các nhà hát, địa điểm trình diễn và gặp gỡ thảo luận với các chuyên gia thiết kế sân khấu của Hoa Kỳ. Chương trình sẽ diễn ra tại Washington, D.C. and Kansas City, Missouri vào cuối tháng 3, đầu tháng 2, 2010.

Tiêu chuẩn:
-Được đào tạo bài bản về thiết kế sân khấu (dựng cảnh, trang phục, ánh sáng, âm thanh) với trình độ cao (đại học hoặc cao học)

Wedding Items

well, time has come and some of you may have heard about my upcoming big moment. i'm going to get married in March next year. hence the preparatory process has started from now. gradually i'll show you our choices for that day. firstly would be my obsession: SHOES
we are looking for stuffs which are really out of normal image but still elegant enough for formal ceremony. finally i found this pair of Viktor&Rolf whose designs are always abnormal and full of unpredictable mixtures: the mixture of Medieval circus-like checked pattern on the heels and tender flower cuts.

just 1 annoyance, this pair came to super sale-off price just after our purchase :(. but at least it was not at my size.

Tại buổi ra mắt A Single Man, Julianne Moore xuất hiện lộng lẫy trong bộ đầm lụa xanh ngọc, đương nhiên là do anh chàng bảnh trai kiêm đạo diễn-mới-vào-làng Tom Ford thiết kế. Đây là lựa chọn hết sức sáng suốt bởi màu xanh ngọc tôn lên màu tóc đỏ và làn da trắng đốm tàn nhang đặc trưng của quý bà Moore. Tuy cổ khoét sâu nhưng trông không lộ liễu khoe hàng vì ngực cỡ vừa đủ tạo dáng đầm và hở khe ngực ;)). Năm nay y hẹn, Tilda tiếp tục là 'kênh quảng bá thương hiệu' của nhà tạo mẫu mũm mĩm Alber Elbaz. Nhà mốt Lanvin nổi tiếng với cách xử lý vải điêu luyện tựa như điêu khắc bằng các đường cắt cúp, gập vải trên trang phục. Tilda diện nguyên bộ từ váy đầm, vòng cổ đến giày thuộc nhà mốt Lanvin. Lady Bug in a BBQ

the windy Greifswald treats me sometimes nice, and the stressful mood before exams sometimes releases me. today i had a small BBQ party with some friends from Vietnam, Brazil, Italy and China; and we had lots of fun with the food: mushroom porridge, chicken fried rice, grilled meatball and pork, avocado with yogurt and cream! and of course beer, how can man in Germany survive without beer? ;D

i'm feeling like a ladybug in a little bush singing with a lolly pop!

i must admit that i'm not into TV shows, so when people start gossiping about what they've seen in SATC, Heroes, Prison Break, i start to being dumb!! well well, but since my bf showed me some of Mad Men, it appealed me by the costume design. oh yeah, fashion critics have praised this a lot. and i've been inspired!

i've just had my bang cut (by myself)! didn't you guys notice in my last entry? hhaha, once i posted it in my facebook, my friends applauded my dumb look/ or somehow naive cuteness. it was so funny!

anyways, what is expected to be funnier is this shooting below. hhahahha, i couldn't help myself stop laughing deadly on seeing it. the man behind was walking as if he were also cat-walking behind me. my friend was keeping shouting at me 'quick, pose, walk. this man is approaching you!'. and i really like this turn-out for its lively background. And for such a reason that tomorrow is Men's Day in Germany :D

iTunes is playing Brigitte Bardot Show album and her attractive french voice inspires me so much to 60s-70s mood.

last weekend George - my best friend in Germany led me to the beach with some other friends. we rode aprox. 10km on bike, through green-like-evergreen wood, through yellow-even-brighter-than-sunlight rape-seed field. almost nobody there in Wampen beach. just some naked women sunbathing, some dogs and owners wandering. i brought Polaroid camera and picked some, realized that we look so 70s, naive, natural, wild and loving!

Enlighten the spring snow

though the weather forecast said that it would snow today, i couldn't have supposed it snows like in storm! can you imagine? no i don't, at furthest expectation from my first winter experience.

of course my clothing today couldn't warm me up enough while i was hardly biking to class. but at least their color did some enlightened job :D

since forcing myself reading literature in German language, and being inspired by european spring nature, i have to admit that i'm falling in love with 'Gefunden' of Herr oh-so-famous Goethe. no it's not that cliché i'd blame for my favorite, it's truly adorable poem of beauty, nature, love, human being, decision.

Ich ging im Walde
so für mich hin,
und nichts zu suchen,
das war mein Sinn.

Im Schatten sah ich

wie Sterne leuchtend,

this poem reminds me of those Georgia O'Keeffe charming yet sensual paintings, which fulfill with concupiscent ardor but still embrace a pure sight of such naive woman.

hence i grant me a chance today to wear old time lady-like poetic outfit.

Casual Glam

so spring sunshine yesterday inspires my fingers to type more entries.
last week the weather was not that good, the temperature was sometimes, yes unpredictable, sunny and warm-up (looks like), yet in general it was quite cold. early morning around 7am could reach -5*C (23*F). that's why i treated myself a total blacky glam. but i'm a student who went to small class with just around 20 students, living in a conservative-look town, and my choice would better limit within a word 'casual' safety.

i disappeared for a week since new semester started again. waking early in morning and studying in library until 9pm steal all my time saving. but i've got the present for you guys, though i really don't know if you would love it. hah, my boyfriend has just got this for me. we haven't made our mind yet, when our big-day-of-our-life takes place, probably next year 2010. but the chance to get this wedding dress is so thin, so we did buy it. i just adore it, original vintage 70s wedding dress, made from beige lace, with soft silk layer dress inside. what makes me wonder now is how to style it with other bride's accessories such as gloves, hosiery, headpiece,... so everything is just at the starting point.

Comic Prints and else

sorry for my lacking of new entries. since last week i pushed myself in a harsh working cycle from 10am to 9pm in uni library. and after so late stay-up last night to watch 'Confessions of a shopaholic' in Russian language (yeah, it was duplicated in Russian, though, such a kind of movie you only fulfill two eyes no need to hear. i know it's cliché to state so when i couldn't hear such a word, but my sense tells that their witness in conversations is unattractive!), my body now is absolutely impaired and forces me to stay at home to complete all housework: cleaning, ironing, shopping grocery, .... i hate this!!!!

anyways, i'd rather stop these complaints which may not collect any sympathy from you guys, and better start reporting my recent days.
i tried several rebellious punk-oriented look. the comic-print garments i've purchased gave strong wind of inspiration to experiment. they're mixture of aesthetics in colorful prints, curiosity of novelistic dialogues, and pop sexiness of pulp-magazine characters. who can't adore those?
