By now, you should have able to fix the error and each time every time your reboot your system, it will auto connect to CCcam server without your need to manually configuring it. Cassette Sony Walkman - After retiring the floppy disk in March, Sony has halted the manufacturing and distribution of another now-obsolete technology: the cassette Walkman, the first low-cost, portable music player.

The final batch was shipped to Japanese retailers in April, according to IT Media. Once these units are sold, new cassette Walkmans will no longer be available through the manufacturer.

The first generation Walkman (which was called the Soundabout in the US, and the Stowaway in the UK) was released on July 1, 1979 in Japan. Although it later became a huge success, it only sold 3000 units in its first month. Sony managed to sell some 200 million iterations of the cassette Walkman over the product line’s 30-year career.

Somewhat ironically, the announcement was delivered just one day ahead of the iPod’s ninth anniversary on October 23, although the decline of the cassette Walkman is attributed primarily to the explosive popularity of CD players in the 90s, not the iPod.

The steps are pretty straight forward, what users need to do is simply dialing *3001#12345#* using your iPhone keypad followed by a press on Call button. By then, it will enter Field Test Mode and immediately, the signal bar on top left of your iPhone screen will be replaced by number, indicating the actual signal strength of your device. The reading is in dBm and the higher the number is, the lower its signal strength and anything below -110dBm may experience call failure or drop. Pressing the number again will toggle back to normal signal bar and simply press the Home button will exit from Field Test mode.

By now you should have better feel on how your iPhone reception can be impacted under different holding situation and various condition. However, it works only on iPhone 3G/3GS/4 with iOS 4.1 but not earlier version and hopefully this Cupertino-based company will consider putting back full field mode test for more comprehensive field test measurements when iOS 4.2 is released soon.

How To Unlock Forgotten Parental Lock Password in Dreambox Decoder - Parental Lock feature in Dreambox decoder is very useful especially when you would like to put additional layer of control on certain channels (for instances: adult channels and so on) so that it can’t be accessed by your kids. However, it may create a situation whereby you can’t recall or remember the parental lock password that impacting your viewing ability of those channels. Not to worry now, if you wonder how you can retrieve the lost password for any reason, below steps will explain how you can get them back as long as you still can access the Dreambox decoder using FTP via Ethernet port.

Below are the simple steps that you should follow:

1. Connect both of your computer and Dreambox decoder to a switch/bridge using Ethernet cable.
2. From the remote control, go to Menu -> Setup -> Expert Setup -> Communication Setup. Read the IP address of your decoder from the TV screen (assuming that you already have the composite video output cable connected from decoder to TV).
3. Then go to TV computer screen, open an Internet Explorer, type in ftp://192.168.x.x (IP address read from step ii).
4. When prompted for username and password, type ‘root’ and ‘dreambox’ respectively to access into Dreambox.
5. From here, you will notice a folder view and browse into ‘var’ and followed by tuxbox/config/enigma subfolder, look for a file named as ‘config’.
6. Right click on the ‘config’ file and select open, then search for a line such as ‘parentallock=0000HHHH’.
7. Convert the last four Hex number to Decibel (can use your Scientific calculator in your PC) and this four Decibel number will be your parental lock password that can be used to unlock any locked channels.

Hopefully this simple steps will able to retrieve your lost password without the need to reformat the whole Dreambox.
