Now you can resume the files u want to download from mediafire.com. Mediafire provide you resume facility but when you shutdown your PC or pause the downloaded file which you are downloading from Internet Download Manager which is best download manager till date which provide best speed to download files.so when when you trying to resume your files there is an error that the link address is changed and link expaire or your session is closed.

Here is a trick to resume the files.you'll see a message that the link is expired. press YES. you'll be redirected to that page of Mediafire again.when the page is completly loaded press TOOLS>OPTIONS>Privacy>show cookies. search for 'mediafire.com' in the box. delete all cookies found there. after doing that, press CLOSE > OK.after that click on the " click here to download files" in mediafire site.the page is refreshed and you got a new link to download the file.right click on the link and copy the link location.

after coping the link location go to IDM and select the file you want to resume for downloading,right click and select > properties > in address field paste the copied link location you copy from the mediafire site and finally your downloading starts from where you last before. enjoy downloading !!!!!

You download a movie from internet in .rar file. You want to try some first parts to check whether the films is good.

You've got part 1 and want to try: when extracting that part, check the"keep broken files" box

When the software ask you to provide the next part to continue, simply cancel it.

Now you can watch the first part of the movie! If it's good, continue downloading the followings ones, if not, inorge this film. It will save your time!

Did you realise that if you use Adobe Reader 6.0 or 7.0, you can have a bot talk on the contents of the pdf file ??

Open a pdf file then,

Ctrl+shift+b - to hear the entire Document
Ctrl+shift+v - to hear the page
Ctrl+shift+c - to resume
Ctrl+shift+e - to stop
Ctrl+shift+Y - to Activate Read Out Loud.

Try out the hear the page if the hear the entire document doesn’t seem to work because of long pdf file content.

To take a screenshot of the whole screen (what you see) just press "PrtSC Sys Req"

usually on the top right corner of a keyboard(near F12), now open MsPaint and paste it

in there, now save and enjoy! To take a picture of just the window you are using, hold

alt and press "PrtSC Sys Req". Now do the same with MsPaint and there's your

screenshot.

Installing Windows XP after Windows 7

After being frenzy about the debut of Windows 7 beta 1 you formatted your hard drive and deleted the copy of Windows XP that was installed?

Do not worry, we have prepared for you a "fresh" geek guide. A guide by which you will find out how to install Windows XP after Windows 7 and to have the two operating systems on one computer (using the dual boot, of course).

Nevertheless, take less than an hour of free time and get to work. The tutorial is waiting for you after the jump!

Log on to the Computer Management (you can do it comfortably through the start menu);
Select Disk Management (in the menu located to the left of the Window);
Right-click on the partition to "shrink" to install XP, and select "Shrink Volume" from the context menu;
Enter the number of MB to be used to install Windows XP in the "Enter the amount of space to shrink in MB (recommended 4.000MB) and click Shrink;
Restart your PC;
Insert the installation of Windows XP in the drive and the computer to boot from it;
Follow the wizard and set the destination space partitioned;
Insert the installation of Windows 7 (or a disk) in the player and the computer to boot from it;
Select "System Recovery" followed by "Startup Repair";
Reboot the PC and log on to Windows 7;
Install and start VistaBootPro;
Ignore the request for the creation of backup files;
Go to the menu "Diagnostics -> Run Diagnostics";
The emergence of new entries in the operating systems that will present in VistaBootPro, click the Apply updates;
Restart your PC.

Mission accomplished! It been tough, but now you can finally enjoy a perfect dual boot between Seven and the dear old XP.

Disconnect the USB drive faster

Create your own Run Command for any specific Application

You can make your own Run Command (program shortcut) to run a program or a document directly.

To use this feature, you will need to be logged into your computer with administrative rights.

Click Start button and type regedit in Run option then press Enter for next.
Here locate the location to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\App paths
Now right click on App Paths and select New > Key, title the key and name it whatever you want your run command to be. In this case, we will try to create a run command for googletalk application.
New > Key >googletalk.exe
Now select the googletalk.exe folder and click right on (Default) string value then click Modify at the right hand side panel.
Here enter the path of the program that you want to execute in the value data field. In our case, the path of googletalk application will be C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe.
Now again in right side panel, click right to create a new String value with the name googletalk and its values as C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe.
Now close the registry editor and restart your computer after any changes to go into effect.

How To Make A CD/DVD Autorun

Here is some information that you will need to make a CD/DVD autorun.
This feature of the CD is used by almost all the software manufacturers.
When u insert a CD a program runs automatically.
copy an icon(.ico extension) to a suitable folder that u want to give to ur CD.
Then, open notepad & type the following code:

open=filename.exe
```
Then save the file as autorun.inf in a suitable folder.
Here, "icon.ico" is an icon file with name "icon" and ".ico" is the icon's extension. "filename.exe" is the name of the executable file having "filename" as its name and ".exe" is the extension for any executable file.
Now burn your CD/DVD normally as you do it usually.
put the autorun.inf file that you created in the root directory not in any folder.
If the Executive File and Icon File is not in the root drive, but in a folder, you will have to provide the path in the above code. Example:

Make sure you do not put the autorun.inf file in any folder, else the CD/DVD wont autorun!

You can speed up your startup procedures by changing the BIOS with the built-in
setup utility.
How you run this utility varies from PC to PC, but you typically get to it
by pressing the Delete, F1, or F10 keys during startup. You’ll come to a menu with a
variety of choices. Here are the choices to make for faster system startups:

Quick Power On Self Test (POST):

When you choose this option, your system runs an abbreviated POST rather than the
normal, lengthy one.

Boot Up Floppy Seek:

Disable this option. When it’s enabled, your system spends a few extra seconds
looking for your floppy drivea relatively pointless procedure, especially considering
how infrequently you use your floppy drive.

Boot Delay:

Some systems let you delay booting after you turn on your PC so that your hard drive
gets a chance to start spinning before bootup. Most likely, you don’t need to have this
boot delay, so turn it off. If you run into problems, however, you can turn it back on.

Enable / disable the Welcome screen

This trick allows you to disable the display of modern login screen (Welcome), and use the login screen classic. It works only for Windows 2000 and XP.

Through Control Panel

Go to Control Panel> User Accounts.
Click "Change the way users log on or off."
Uncheck the box "Use the Welcome screen" and click OK.

You will notice the change as soon as you close your session.

To reactivate the modern login screen, select the "Use the Welcome screen."

Through the registry (method being checked)

To do this, a change in the registry is needed. It is recommended to save it.

Go to Start> Run.
Type regedit and click OK.
Locate the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer
Double click on the value chain NoWelcomeScreen and modifies its data 1 (If the value does not exist, create it).

How to Enable or Disable Secure Logon CTRL+ALT+DELETE in Windows 7

Everyone would need to have a secure there desktop be other people and normally we do have a habbit of doing the same by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE so here are the steps for enabling and disabling Logon screen.

Open the Start Menu.


In the search box, type netplwiz and press Enter.


Click on the Advanced tab.


To Enable Secure Logon
Check the Require users to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete box.

Go to step 6.



To Disable Secure Logon
Uncheck the Requires users to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete box.



 Click on OK.

There is one more way of doing it by making changes into registry here are the steps for it:-

Open the Start Menu.


In the Start Menu Search box type regedit and press Enter.


If prompted, click on Yes in the UAC prompt.


In regedit, go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon


In the right pane, right click on DisableCAD and click on Modify.


To Enable Secure Logon
Type 0 (number zero).

Go to step 8.



To Disable Secure Logon
Type 1.



Click on OK.


Close regedit.

so heres the trick..

Vista:
Select Start, then hover over the right arrow that is to the right of
the padlock icon until the pop-up menu appears that contains “restart”
as one of it’s choices. Hold down the SHIFT key while clicking on the
“restart” choice.

Windows xp:
Select Start. Select “Shut Down…”. Change the drop-down combo box under “What do you want the computer to do?” to “Restart”. Hold down the SHIFT key while clicking on the “OK” button.

How to use remote-uploads to convert Megaupload links to Rapidshare and Rapidshare to Megaupload

Rapidshare to Megaupload:

1. Log into your Premium or Collectors account. Click on Remote-Uploads button.

2. Open the Megaupload/DepositFiles/etc. link in your browser. Input the CAPTHCA and wait to generate your download link. Once it is generated...

For Megaupload:
a) Right-click the Download Link button and Copy Link Address.

For DepositFiles, etc.:
b) Start the download. Then stop it right away. Copy the url from where the download is coming from.

3. Quickly, paste the download url from the other file host into the Rapidshare form and click Start Remote Upload button.

4. Wait a little bit (it's really fast!) and then you can check on the progress of your transfer by clicking Start Remote Upload button (make sure the form is empty of all links!).

5. Once it's finished, go back to your main Premium Account screen and click on the new links you have transferred to download them.

Megauplaod to Rapidshare:

1. Log into your Megaupload Preimum account.

2. Open the Rapidshare/DepositFiles/etc. link in your browser. Input the CAPTHCA and wait to generate your download link. Once it is generated start the download. Then stop it right away. Copy the url from where the download is coming from.

3. Quickly, paste the download url from the other file host into the HTTP/FTP File Fetching field on Megaupload and click Send button.

4. Wait for your transfer to finish, then go to your file manager and click on the new links you have transferred to download them.

(I'm not sure what step-by-step screens appear for you as I don't have a premium account, but I'm sure you'll be able to figure it out.)

Suppose you want to lock the folder movies in d: which has the path D:\movies.

In the same drive create a text file and type
ren movies movies.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}
Now save this text file as loc.bat

Create another text file and type in it
ren movies.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} movies
Now save this text file as key.bat

you can see 2 batch files loc and key. Press loc and the folder movies will change to control panel and you cannot view its contents. Press key and you will get back your original folder.

another option:

Here is a simple code that i developed to lock and unlock any folder.
copy the code below in notepad and save the file with any file name with the extension ".bat"

For years, Microsoft have been prohibited the launching of multiple instances of its Messenger. And since that time, there are downloads of all kinds of utilities that circumvent these limits.

The 2009 version provides the first easing Official: the ability to connect multiple locations simultaneously to a single account, office and home for example (the messages being sent to all places open).

However, it is still not possible "in theory" to launch multiple instances of Windows Live Messenger (WLM) on a single machine to enjoy your Live ID accounts, a feature often referred to as "Polygamy".

In practice, however, Microsoft has provided such a feature. A parameter hidden in registry database. Here's how to activate the "Polygamy"

- Run "Regedit" (Press [Windows] + [R], type Regedit then click OK)

- Deploy the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Live"

- Click the right button on the key Messenger

- Then select "New" and then "DWORD Value"

- Name the new entry "MultipleInstances"

- Double-click it and change the field given by typing: 1

Go to Start --> Run --> Regedt32

Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop

Locate the key called "MenuShowDelay" and it is probably set to 400.

Change that value to 150.

Reboot your computer.

You should notice a slight increase in the speed of your menus

Instead of pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL or windows + L to lock your machine you can create an icon to lock your machine. There are very simple steps by using it you can simply lock your computer
using single mouse click.
