Is Open Source Time Travel a good idea? poll

Tmxxine DIDO goals simply stated are:

Develop an open source enabled means to travel through time and other dimensions (branes)
Protect the rights and freedoms of those moving between continuums and the inhabitants of all dimensions
Generate the Force or Matrix into a living AI augmentation

Which just means time travel is possible according to prevailing physics theory. The idea of causality non-existence is going to come as a surprise. Existence without cause. Did I mention the Mahayana dictum recently, "emptiness is form, form is emptiness." However independent origination is something discounted in Buddhism. Let us give substance to this impossibility. Practically every spiritual system, has realms of non-causation. The Ain Soph Aur of Kabbalah, the fana-il-fana of Sufism and the soul of the Sith. When science talks of dark matter or gravitons, it wants mechanics. It expects recall to causation. The idea of not-knowing beyond the veil of Daath is irksome. We must expect limitations dependent on time and causation related thought. Aspects of the universe may be beyond the capacity of our present evolution. In this sense, attunement or inspiration from a non-causal plane may give us an understanding but no means of expression.

We await several developments. The discovery of the graviton and or Higgs Boson or some other comprehension of gravity. If gravity indeed exists, in curved space, bypassing conventional restrictions, then we will be able to develop some key technologies.

In scientific terms credible theories of multi-brane universes, dark matter and closed timelike curve technology are becoming mainstream. Tmxxine works on the understanding that imagination or mind generates some forms of reality.

Current thinking talks about a black holes drawing in matter and a white hole at the 'end' expanding that matter. It is possible (no confirmation in Physics literature yet), that the 'steady state' theory of cosmic generation may be revived. In its simplest form this would mean matter is drawn in from the future to expand in the past. This would explain dark matter without recourse to branes. More

Tmxxine August Experiments with XUL are progressing and other languages and in particular on-line resources continue. Lately I have been looking at Lua, Tcl and Linux scripting. XUL can be part of Ajax but is far more secure reliable and long term. The choice of Puppy Linux has proved very functional The main concern is the production and control of gravity. This ability to use gravity seems to be a major concern of fringe science but some credible links are being made in conventional science.

Heavy support for Linux going on. Puppy Linux is the basis for Tmxxine Linux, now expected for release in 3rd quarter of 2005. It will be based on the multi-session Puppy. Basically an operating system on CD-RW. That means you run everything from RAM memory and save when you log out. It therefore has an audit trail, like a wiki. The eventual aim is to run everything from a USB key-drive. This is likely to occur around the time of USB 3. Linux systems to look out for: Kanotix - very usable development from Knoppix Featherweight - very compact version of Knoppix Foresight - Next generation Linux technology
