We have our new vinyl cutter here at the store and it sure is a lot of fun bringing you some awesome new items! These are die-cut vinyl decals in your choice of white or black. We have some really cool styles for your business or your personal vehicles as well...I think there are now about 50 new vinyl decals that have been added in the last couple weeks. There is a 25% off sale going on through the weekend on all our decals, including our full color decals - so come back to the store and check it out - we now have about 200 different decals for you to choose from!

We have a new cinch sack or back pack for linemen with the Lineman Climbing design on it - great for carrying all those items you need when traveling out of town or to a rodeo.

For our ham radio operator customers, we have added a NORAD Tracks Santa CD...a 35 minute recording of news and alerts as Santa travels the globe delivering presents on Christmas eve. Recorded in 1964 and again in 1968. Includes several Christmas melodies by Air Force Commanders. A wonderfully nostalgic recording for young and old alike!

We also have a "HAM IT UP" coffee mug for our amateur radio customers.

You will be surprised to hear that we have already added a new Christmas card for electrical tradesmen and utility companies. It depicts Santa stringing Christmas lights on a powerpole which is designed to be Rudolph's head - he even has a red florescent bulb for the nose. It's quite comical and very, very nice! Come take a look at it while you're at the site.

We're excited about our new decal cutter here at TNT and are very busy adding new designs for our customers like the ones on the left. We now have decals for Lineman's moms and dads, East Coast Electricians, West Coast Electricians, Gulf Coast Electricians and even Great Lakes Electricians! Same for the linemen!

We now offer our die cut decals in black or white and they come in assorted sizes at various price ranges.

Holiday Happenings at TNT Electrical Trades Gift Store

Hello from Anne @ TNT! The sad but true story is that our clock on the left which was green and resembled the Heineken beer logo, had to be changed because we were threatened with a bill for $4750 for infringing. Come to find out Continental Enterprises, the company who contacted us on behalf of Heinkeken, is known on the internet as being trademark extortionists, preying on the small business owners who unwillingly use images similar to other's trademarks...Do you want to hear more about this or am I boring you?

Sobbing my heart out to them on the phone, after receiving their demand for $4750, they dropped it to $1500...then they dropped it further to $1,000 and when I said I could only afford to pay $500, they countered with $750. I was all set to pay their demands, when I started surfing the internet and found out about Continental Enterprises and how people refer to them as the scum of the earth...do you want to hear the rest of the story? Let me briefly sum it up by telling you about my email to them (after calling them and leaving them a message asking them not to call me anymore, just to use my email)...

My reply to their email was "Dear Mr. Wherry...As mentioned to your representative, I ceased sales of the allegedly infringing material immediately upon being notified by your office. It is my understanding that under federal trademark law that means I am not a "willing infringer". In addition, my design was simply a parody aimed at my target clients, electricians. There was no likelihood of confusion and surely no extent of harm. It is my understanding that without confusion there is no infringement. My profits from the sale of the two clocks was less than $50.00. This clock was listed on my site for approximately 6 weeks before you notified me. Also as I mentioned to your representative, you are targeting my small family business, where I am the sole employee. I simply do not have the money you demand, now or ever. Any agreement I may or may not have made was made out of duress. Please do not contact me again."

And you know what? That was a week ago and I have not heard more...IF they do send another email they write will have my new reply: "If you persist in bothering me now that I have agreed to stop the allegedly infringing activities, I will file a complaint with the Indiana State Attorney General for for extortion, criminal stalking and violating Indiana's Rules of Professional Conduct (Rule 5.4(a)".

This is why I LOVE THE INTERNET! With the help of the good folks at http://www.tabberone.com/, I was given the verbiage to use to represent myself outside of the legal system (so far.) Wish me continued luck. I have learned my lesson, by the way. My Viagra light switch decal, no longer has the word VIAGRA on it. Anyway, thanks for listening to me ramble...I'm tooting my horn, but had to share. Perhaps I should knock on wood too?

Hello again, friends! Just a quick newsletter to keep you up on the current new products that we have added to the store this weekend!

This cute Santa electrician to the left measures abut 4" tall and is decked out in a yellow hardhat...ready to go to work wiring in all the lights this Christmas. He has wire cutters in hand, along with an extension cord, and of course his tool pouch is hanging off his pouch on the rear...

We are very happy to be expecting soon a 3 foot by 5 foot lineman flag (black with white lineman) that is already listed in our store... we are taking your pre-orders for those, trying to judge how many to get in for the holidays.

We have added a light bulb antenna topper for your vehicles. Sure to catch your attention when you are looking for the row you parked your car or truck in!

We have added four new Boley 1/87 HO scale utility trucks to our product line. They will make fun cake toppers or toys for the kids this Christmas (big and little boys alike!).

We have also added a new lineman wrist watch with little bucket trucks on every hour of the dial.

You can see all our new items by going to our "NEW PRODUCT" department which will be on the left when you get into our store. We are always ready to hear your ideas for new products and we really want to get you the things that you would like to see us carry...so write anytime and please check back...We are still lowering prices and adding new things for this holiday season!

No one stopped me - So here we go again!

No one even tried to stop me from adding new products after my last newsletter...so you asked for it -- and you got more new products for electricians and linemen and those in the electrical trades! Keep reading to find out about all the goodies we've added to our product line since our last newsletter!

We're excited about a few new products we've added to our product line including a new line of retirement cards for those in the electrical trades, you can see an image of those above!

We've added a new design to our "Time to Climb" wall clock....

We've adding a Lineman Climbing handcrafted porch art piece...pretty cool if I do say so myself!

We've added a couple ladies t-shirts..one of them is the I Play With Electricity Tee that you see one of our "FRIENDS" wearing here! :o)

We have also added two new Bucket Boss products - The Tool Roll and also the 24 pocket Bucket Boss original bucket bag!

Somebody Stop Me, PLEASE!!

Somebody stop me, please! I swear it's like an addiction. I keep wanting to add more and more products to our store! But you know part of my job is bringing you more gifts -- and I love my job!

With that being said, I would like to tell you about our newest items, but before I do let me tell you that we have added a new department to our store called "New Products"...that way you can just go into that department to see all the new products added in the last month!

Here are our new products, I've added this week to our electrical trades gift store:

Two books for children dealing with electricity and they are Magic School Bus books! We've just been accepted as a dealer of Scholastic books and we are very happy to be offering "The Electric Field Trip" and "The Electric Storm"...very educational and your kids will love these books!

You are a Lineman Greeting Card - for the gals to give their guys for any occasion to show their admiration for what they do for a living.

You are an Electrician Greeting Card...ditto as above.

A beautiful Lineman at Sunrise illuminating lamp.....Truly remarkable!

A barbeque apron with the screenprinted "GOT POWER?" and power pole theme.

We have added a second tattoo in addition to our Ohm's law tattoo and this is a tattoo with a lineman climbing a pole and the words "Got Power?" Very cool indeed!

We have a cotton canvas bag for holding all those celebration cards that are given at parties, that has an electrical theme also....

We have a new electrician clock with a "Live Wire" beer theme.

And we don't want to forget about our ham radio friends and so we have added a beautiful ornament to our ham ornament collection and it has three illuminated radio tubes nestled in the branches of a lovely cedar tree...so start reminiscing about Christmas' past and pick you a nostalgic Christmas tree ornament!

So there you have it! Hope you find something that interests you! Just a quick blog here to let you know that our SALES for the holidays has just begun! We are heading full-steam-ahead now, with many, many items marked down for Christmas! I think you will be very pleased with some of the prices you will see at our store!

Our website (www.etgiftstore.com) has been tended to with all the Christmas finery we could muster up...Sparky has added even more freebies including a crossword puzzle for electricians...brush up and learn all that terminology while completing your FREE crossword puzzle, compliments of ME (Anne)...Took several hours to create, but you guys are worth it! To all others...we have plenty of fun stuff and will be clearing out a lot of stock getting ready for inventory in January...so please tell your friends and co-workers about our store...we always appreciate that very much when you do!

Happy October and thanks for reading our blog this month!

So many new products coming up and so little time to get them all on! Coming soon! Ohm's law tattoos! We'll send out a shout to you when they come in! Also coming soon: Live Wire Beer clock for electricians...a new Time To Climb design on our clocks for power linemen...Bucket Boss bucket organizer and Bucket Boss Tool Rolls....we are also adding some new books that have recently been published....we're adding some white and yellow construction hats to our party department and we can put your logo or text on and they will be fun for parties for big AND little boys and girls. We are going to have some million dollar bills printed up for electricians and linemen so please watch for those too! Lots of fun things.
