Sony extends its lineage of Full HD video camera recorders with the Sony’s HDR-CX520V and the Sony’s HDR-CX500V model. Both of models sports a 3-inch touchscreen display, BIONZ image processor, GPS receiver and NAVTEQ digital maps with geo-tagging videos and photos support, Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo HX memory cards support, 6 Megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor with 12X optical zoom and 150X digital zoom,  thus allowing the users to capture 1920×1080 HD video in MPEG4 AVC/H.264 format / SD video in MPEG2 format and up to 12 Megapixel resolution in still images. There also Dual Record function that allows users to capture 8.3 Megapixel still images while shooting HD video and Dolby Digital 5.1ch recording with Built-in Zoom Mic. Other features include Face Detection, Dynamic Range Optimizer, Optical SteadyShot image stabilization and Smile Shutter. The only difference is the HDR-CX520V has a built-in 64GB flash memory, while the HDR-CX500V has 32GB. Sony says the HDR-CX520V and HDR-CX500V HD camcorder will be ship in September at an MSRP of $1100 and $1300 respectively.

Sony Intros HDR-CX520V And HDR-CX500V Full HD Camcorders

At 2009 Korea Products Exhibition held in Warsaw, LG has showcased the LG GC990 Louvre Flagship camera phone, sporting a 12 megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach optics, auto/touch focus, xenon flash and can record 720p HD video at 30 fps. As a camera phone, the LG GC990 Louvre also features ISO up to 3200, camera images geo-tagging and zero shutter lag, and Intelli-zoom function. The LG GC990 Louvre will run the LG’s S-Class User Interface with a lot of touch related goodies. Other features include  an accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, Wi-Fi with DLNA, TV-out, GPS receiver with A-GPS support, Bluetooth, a 3.2″ 16M color touchscreen display, DivX and Xvid video formats support.

LG of Japan has just introduced its 23-inch M237WS full HD computer display, featuring a resolution of 1,920×1,080 pixel (full HD), brightness 300cd/m2, contrast ratio 1,000: 1 but can be boost to maximum 20,000: 1, speed of response 5ms, aspect Ratio: 16:9, and 160 degree vertical/170 degrees horizontal viewing angle. There also twin @ 3W speaker with SRS WOW sound. As for connectivity, you’ll get D-Sub15 pin, DVI-D (HDCP), two HDMI ports, component, S-video, and composite. The LG M237WS is expected to be available in the Land of the Rising Sun from mid-July at an MSRP of ¥30,000.

The BMW Motorrad Navigator IV is a new GPS navigation system from Garmin and BMW Motorrad, which have specially design for motorcycles based-on Garmin’s zūmo 660.  Besides offering Garmin’s navigation technology, the BMW Motorrad Navigation IV also features BMW’s customized mount, pre-loaded BMW dealer database, unique audio and Bluetooth handling capabilities. The mount and GPS device are vibration-tested, waterproof (IPX-7), and designed to withstand fuel sprays and UV rays. As an additional features include a 4.3″ glove friendly touch screen, millions of POIs, and turn-by-turn, voice-prompted directions to the final destination, and A2DP Bluetooth wireless capability allows you to receive calls hands-free with your compatible phone; incoming calls are automatically routed to your earpiece when you accept them. You won’t be able to make outgoing calls while your bike is in motion for safety reasons, but you can just tap the screen and talk after you’ve pulled over without removing your helmet or gloves. Samsung Electronics has recently introduced the Samsung XL2370, a new LED monitor that incorporating cutting-edge technology and a finger-slim design, similar with the 0.65-inch depth of the P2370L. This 23-inch LED backlit display is a members Samsung’s “Touch of Color” lineup boasts a dynamic contrast ratio (5M:1), 2ms (GTG) response, and Full HD 1080p resolution (1920×1080).
