Select Bluray Movies $6 Amazon

2011-05-18T12:55:00.000-07:00

Amazon currently has deals on select Bluray movies for only $6 w/ free prime shipping. Some decent titles, good deal for those looking to expand their movie library.

Seagate FreeAgent Go 1TB Portable HDD $50 AC

2011-05-16T02:33:00.000-07:00

Staples is currently selling a Seagate FreeAgent Go 1TB Portable HDD for $75 w/ free shipping as a one-day only promotion. After using $25 off $75 coupon (can be easily found on ebay, like this one), it totals to $50 + tax. Great deal on a 1TB portable HDD.

Playstation Move Controller $35 Amazon

2011-05-16T01:42:00.000-07:00

The price for the PS3 Move Controller has once again dropped. It is now currently selling for $35 w/ free prime shipping. For some reason, I feel the price will jump back to $40 sometime tomorrow afternoon. So, if you are in need of a move controller, I suggest getting it now. Also available is the PS3 Sports Champion Move Bundle for only $70 w/ free prime shipping.

Playstation Move Controller $40 Amazon

2011-05-11T19:38:00.000-07:00

The PS3 Move Controller has dropped to $39.70 w/ free prime shipping. That's the cheapest I've seen it on Amazon. I personally think $40 is going to be the standard price for move controllers very soon. In-store retail price at most stores is still $49.99, so Amazon would be your best bet. Or, if you are like me, you can always use eBay.

Mens Sketchers Shoes Brown Only $3

2011-05-07T02:29:00.000-07:00

*UPDATE* - Received cancellation email

Sketchers.com is currently selling a pair of Men's Arcade Sketchers Brown (Chocolate) for only $3 w/ free shipping. Use promo code EXTWWB536N to bring down the cost to $2.30 (for me, CA). I purchased it just now and got the confirmation email (You will receive your SKECHERS in 4-10 business days (or 3-6 business days if you selected Express Shipping). Most likely a price mistake because these shoes sell for $56 else where. So, don't be surprised if you receive a cancellation email.

Portal 2 PS3/Xbox $40 or PC $30 GameStop

2011-04-30T23:25:00.000-07:00

*UPDATE* Amazon has price-matched and is now selling Portal PS3/Xbox for $34.99 w/ free prime shipping. PC version cost $29.99 w/ free prime shipping.

GameStop is currently selling Portal 2 on PS3/Xbox for $39.99 w/ free shipping using the promo code VSHIP. The PC version cost only $29.99, which is cheaper than the $35 Valve was selling it for a couple weeks ago. I heard from others that the PS3 version comes with a digital copy of Portal 2, so some people are actually just buying the PS3 version, keeping the digital copy code, and reselling the game either on eBay or Amazon.

Also, Buy.com is currently selling the Nintendo Wii Sports Resort Bundle for $150 w/ free shipping.

Ten Days of Free PC Games on Amazon

2011-04-27T21:17:00.000-07:00

Amazon is currently having a "10 Days of Free Games" promotion, where for 10 days, (starting today), you can download free casual PC games. Today, they have Chicken Invaders 2 for free. Yes, it may not be the most amazing PC games, but what do you expect? It's free. Check back each day to see what they will have next.

An awesome and fun game that is not for free, but selling at a great price is a physical copy of the PC game Darksiders for only $7.79 w/ free prime shipping. I have not played this game on the PC, but have played it on my PS3 and I must say, it is absolutely fun, has great graphics, and a pretty good storyline. Read from the reviews that the PC version requires you to have a steam account.

Also, if you're a fan of gummy bears like I am, then here's a deal for you. 12 pack of Haribo Original Gold-Bears Gummy Candy 5-oz bags for only $9.47 w/ free prime shipping after you subscribe & save. Comes out to $0.79 per/bag, compared to the regular $1-1.50 at retail. Alternatively, you can purchase the 5-lb bag for only 12.55 through S&S. You are getting more gummy bears and value from the 5-lb bag, but I prefer having individual bags.

PS3 Move Controller Amazon Price Drop $44

2011-04-27T02:21:00.000-07:00

The price of the PS3 Move controller dropped from $48.99 to $43.99 w/ free prime shipping still. The navigation controller is still $26.99.

Also on amazon is the Warcraft III Battle Chest, as well as the Starcraft Battle Chest is currently selling for $9.99 w/ free prime shipping.

Moving away from video games, here's a food deal:

If your in the same boat as me, being a low-budget spending college student, then you might find this appealing. Amazon is currently selling Maruchan Chicken Yakisoba Noodle 8-Pack for $4.83 w/ free prime shipping after you subscribe & save and use the coupon code "NOODLE45" If you have never done subscribe & save, do not worry. Simply cancel it in the Manage Subscribe & Save under Your Account after your first order has been marked shipped.

Nintendo Wii Bundle $200 + $50 credit Amazon

2011-04-16T21:40:00.000-07:00

*UPDATE* - The price for the Nintendo Wii Bundle has dropped to $169.99, but no $50 promo credit. Still a good deal, but even better for those who don't shop Amazon often.

Amazon is currently offering $50 promotional credit with the purchase of a Nintendo Wii Bundle for $199.99 w/ free prime shipping. The bundle consists of either a black or white Wii console, Wii Remote Plus controller, Nunchuk controller, and a copy of both Wii Sports Resort and the original Wii Sports game.

Also, the PS3 move navigation controller is currently $26.99 w/ free prime shipping. The actual move controller is $48.74 w/ free prime shipping. Last time, I saw it drop to $44, but it quickly went back up. I'd say your best bet to getting a move controller cheaper than Amazon is looking through eBay. I won my two move controllers through auction for $35 and the other for $40 w/ free shipping for both.

Free Antibacterial Product With CVS ExtraCare Card

If you have a CVS ExtraCare card and a facebook account, then simply fill in your CVS card # and email to receive your FREE full-size Essence of Beauty Antibacterial Collection product (retail value up to $3.99). You will shortly receive your printable coupon in your email, which you can then redeem in stores. If you have problems getting the page to load (like I did earlier), try refreshing the page or clicking the Special Offers tab on the left hand side. It took about 15-20 seconds for the page to load for me when I tried signing up, so be patient. Offer ends 4/15/11 11:59pm EST/8:59pm PST.

*UPDATE* - CVS is also offering a coupon for a free candy or beverage (retail value up to $2). However, instead of a facebook account, you will need a twitter account to follow CVS Extra here. AMC Gold Experience Movie Ticket $6

2011-04-13T19:07:00.000-07:00

CrowdCrave is currently selling an AMC Gold Experience Movie Ticket for $6 (Limit 1 per person). I always jump on these movie ticket deals and stock up because the regular prices for movie tickets is a total rip-off (For me, in CA, it's average $12). I believe Costco currently sells two AMC movie tickets for $15.99. And if you don't know what CrowdCrave is, it is simply another Groupon or Mamapedia deal site. Fine print states tickets should arrive within 4-6 weeks.

Back To Blogging Again

2011-04-10T21:04:00.000-07:00

I've realized that blogging is such a chore, which explains why I haven't posted a blog since the January. But, I am trying to get back into it and this time make some minor changes. My initial intentions of making this blog was to post up video game deals, but I have noticed that not much people care for that. So, in addition to posting video game deals, I will now be posting up freebies, giveaways, and cheap deals in general. Who doesn't like freebies? So to start today's blog deals, here are some video game deals:

If you're an Xbox 360 fan or been waiting for a pretty good deal on it, Amazon currently has the Xbox 360 4GB (black) model with Kinect sensor and adventures game bundle for $299 w/ free prime shipping. And if you buy it, you will receive $50 amazon credit.
Amazon also has Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time (PS3) and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West (PS3) for $15. Very fun games IMO. Modnation Racers (PS3) is selling for $20.
GameStop is selling the DJ Hero 2 Turntable Bundle (PS3/360) for $29.99. Use promo code VSHIP for free shipping.
