MUSIC FESTIVAL – BAND TRIP on Saturday and Sunday!

Please review the itinerary that Mr. Talbert sent home with students on May 4th.

Lunch on Saturday and all food at Great America (snacks, lunch, and dinner) on Sunday are not included in the price of the trip. Please be sure your teen has money for these expenses.

Students are to meet Saturday, May 16th, 5 AM in the band room at Tokay. Buses will leave for the Encinal Music Festival at 5:30 AM. Concert band members must bring black and white concert appropriate clothing (including black socks for concert and marching!) for the very early AM concert. Marching band and guard will wear uniforms for the marching competition later in the morning.

Chaperons will be with students at Pier 39 in the afternoon, the Maple Tree Inn (Sunnyvale) in the evening, and at Great America on Sunday. San Francisco weather will be sunny and cool: 60s to 70s during the day. Sunnyvale and Santa Clara should be sunny and 80s during the day with 60s in evening and morning. Plan to pack accordingly.

The bus will arrive back at Tokay at 8 PM on Sunday, May 17th. Students and chaperons will be exhausted and eager to return home. If your child needs to be picked up, pease be there on time to greet him/her.

RUMMAGE SALE, April 11th

We will be holding a rummage sale as a fundraiser to support our teens. Please hold on to any items (furniture, appliances, toys, games, clothing, etc.) to sell at this April 11th event. The rummage sale will be held in the southeast (faculty) parking lot at Tokay. More information will be posted as the date gets closer.
