Last month was dedicated to fun blogger meet-ups. Mina, the very stylish blogger from "Glitter in my veins" aka Faboulista, was in Bucharest for a couple of weeks while visiting her family and friends and I couldn't pass up the chance to spend some time with her and my fellow bloggers.

She carefully planned out each meeting and I will blog about all of our dates to see just how precious moments are made.
Mina and the girls thought about organizing a tea party for one of our dates and we knew just the right place for such an occasion.
A wonderful tea house, with the most beautiful garden called Infinitea.
If you live in Bucharest, do check out this place. I guarantee you that you'll escape the hectic everyday life and enjoy the best cup of tea in town.

Can't believe the rain has finally stopped falling. It has been raining here in Bucharest non stop for the last three weeks.
I thought for sure Noah was going to show up with his ark picking us all up.

Hi! Yesterday I was invited to the H&M showroom to admire their fall collection. The collection will hit the store shelves in a couple of months, so until then get an exclusive sneak peak of the collection here.
I am huge fan of this brand, so it comes as no surprise that I feel in love with all of the clothes showcased yesterday.
I can't wait to buy myself the bowler hat I am sporting in the picture below and the velvet lime tank top.

So what can you expect from this collection? Bold, bright colors, floral prints, plenty of mustard and burgundy and sequins to show off your inner diva.

On Tuesday night I attended one of the most prestigious fashion events here in Romania, Avanpremiere Fest. This was my second time going to this fest and this time, thanks to my new baby camera, I took pictures until my battery gave out completely.
The most talented Romanian designers presented their collections for the 10th edition of this fest, so you can imagine why I felt the need to immortalize everything on the runway.
Beautiful prints, precious fabrics were, without a doubt, a treat for the spectators' eyes.
My absolute favorite collection of the night was " Golden Party" signed by Natalia Vasiliev.
The models took the runway with a mix of tailored outfits, velvet pencil bright skirts and statement collar necklaces. I found myself wowed and inspired by every garment that appeared on the catwalk.

Not only that I got to admire some amazing pieces at Carla Szabo's showroom, but I also got to try on some of the pieces of this marvelous collection. In the picture below you can see me wearing a black top and a green, pencil skirt from the Essentials collection and a beautiful necklace signed by Carla.

Hi! It's been so long, I have so many wonderful things to share with you guys and I just don't know where to begin.
I want to start by saying that I finally purchased my first DSLR camera and I've been crazy about it ever since I first laid my hands on it. I feel like a tourist, taking pictures of everything and everyone around me. I am the proud owner of a Nikon D5100. If I may quote Gollumn. My Precious! O my Precious!
There is one tiny, little problem with me having this sophisticated camera though.. I will have to teach my mother how to use it. I will be needing nerves of steel for this task.
In the meantime, I will be assisted at my photo shoots by my best blogger friends who have been very helpful so far and gave me a lot of tips on how to use my new camera.
These following outfit pictures were taken by Sandra ( thank you so much, you are a sweetheart ) at a lovely event we attended last Saturday.
The sixth edition of Unveiled followed by an ABSOLUT Designers Night Out cocktail party, turned out to be a great success. Hi, darlings! Summer is knocking on my door already. We had 30 degrees Celsius today and it was time to throw on my new sleeveless white lace top from H&M that I bought a couple of days ago.
I wore it with my new thrifted beauties and my electric blue wedges.
I was thrilled to find this gorgeous multi-colored print pleated skirt and this red vintage belt at very affordable prices. You know how much I love a good bargain.
I have to thank Oliviana for introducing me in this wonderful world of thrifting. She knows exactly where to look for little treasures in this town.

Remember how I told you last month about my collaboration with the popular Romanian brand Tina R? Well. today I will show you my second outfit using an item courtesy of Tina R. This beautiful silk, floral print shirt stole my heart right from the start and I hope you like the way I wore it with this cream, pleated skirt.
You know elegant outfits aren't exactly my strong suit. I am still getting the hang of it, but with a little practice I may be able to dress appropriately for my age. No more boots and sneakers. Or at least, not an a daily basis.

Hi! Last Thursday I received an invitation from Maybelline New York to attend Agatha Ruiz de la Prada Autumn Winter 2012-2013 Fashion Show at World Trade Plaza. Imagine my excitement upon hearing such great news. Agatha is an amazing designer, I love her work and it was a great honor to attend one of her fashion shows.
The collection was just what I expected from her. Colorful, fun, playful and youthful pieces cheered my mood immeasurably.

Last week I was fortunate enough to attend two fabulous fashion shows at The Ark. The first one was Andreea Tincu & Sense Autumn Winter 2012-2013 collection that was very colorful and that pretty much sold it for me. Andreea's pieces were extremely futuristic and innovative.
The second one was Sense's Summer-Spring 2012 Collection that had, in my opinion, a certain 60s' vibe to it.

The event took place in the cozy atmosphere of a lovely tea house called Joie de Vivre and I spent the evening in the company of some of my dearest Romanian blogger friends.

If diamonds are a woman's best friend, then shoes are her lovers. On Thursday I was invited to admire Il Passo's Summer Spring 2012 Collection at the Artmark Galleries.
And what a treat for the eyes it was! I was never crazy about heels, you know me, but these shoes were more than just shoes. They were pieces of art! I couldn't take my eyes off of them and neither could the rest of the audience.
Bows, ruffles, polka dots, diamonds, floral prints are the perfect ingredients for a successful shoe collection!

I have loved this coral blazer since the first time I laid my eyes on it. It's one of those items in your wardrobe that you always turn to when in doubt. You can style it in numerous ways, it's very versatile. So far, my favorite way of wearing it is with this green pleated skirt. Coral and green are a match made in heaven, won't you agree?

Hi ! I am so excited, today marks my 2nd year anniversary for posting outfits on my blog! I will take you down memory lane and show you my absolute favorite looks from this past year, but also pictures of me hanging out with my blogger friends.
To be honest, before I started blogging, I never cared much for friendship. I have always felt out of place in junior high, high school or college and because of that I was unable to make a genuine connection with someone.

Hi! Today I am going to talk to you about bags....Again. Over the past few years, I had many beautiful, , wonderful bags and while some of them are still in my closet, some of them didn't make it.
I used to overlook the fabric and quality of the bags. It seemed like a very insignificant or trivial subject, compared to how good they looked and how well they matched my outfits.
But I have come to realize that fabric is an extremely important detail to pay close attention to. I just can't stand it when the zippers on a purse stick and break or seams begin to tear apart.
Well, no more! From now on I will be buying only bags like the one you see me wearing here.
It's a vintage leather bag that I am sure will stick with me for many years to come.

Warning! The next statement might shock you. I am not the type of woman that carries around in her purse her entire life's contents. I only carry the absolute essentials like my phone and my wallet, so when I saw this vintage quilted clutch with bobble lock on Oasap I just had to have it.
Life is so much easier when you're not carrying around a bag that weighs 10 pounds. But that's just me. Some women like to carry a spare pair of pumps to change into in case of a surprise dinner date or a cosmetic case that they use when they excuse themselves from the table to powder their noses. Hi! Yes, these are also unpublished pictures that I've taken last year and I apologize for showing you this old stuff, but there was no way I could take some decent pictures with all the mess that's outside.
I am happy to let you know though, that the snow here has almost melted and soon enough I will be able to get back to work.

On a different note, can you believe yet another season has passed? Tomorrow will be the first day of Spring and I am looking forward to this day because here, in Romania, we celebrate "Martisor Day" where all women receive a small, symbolic object that's tied with red and white thread that they wear pinned to their clothes.
I have many martisoare that I've collected over the years and it always brings me joy to admire these beautiful talismans.
Time sure flies! I am listening to a song written by the talented Susie Suh that goes like this:
"Seasons change
And you grow a little wiser
Nothing stays the same
The past becomes the future
Seasons change
Only the cherry blossoms they bloom again"

Talking about words of wisdom, right?

Hi! You know "The Ant and the Grasshopper" fable, right? I was always the grasshopper type... reckless, carefree and I've never planned ahead. Or at least that's what I thought!
Looking through my computer files, I've realized that I am actually the ant type.
Why else would I be having so many unpublished outfit photos for my blog lying there?
Subconsciously, I was preparing for the cold season, making sure that I have enough material for my blog to get me through the winter.

These photos were taken last August and I was wearing a black, pleated dress from H&M, a yellow satchel bag from New Yorker, a braided belt from Pieces and random brand heels.

Hi! Or should I say, brrrr! I tried to go out and take some outfit pictures today, but after just one minute of being exposed to that merciless cold I've changed my mind and ran back inside.

So, there I was, with no pictures and absolutely nothing to write about on my blog, when I remembered I have a hidden stack of pictures in my computer for this kind of emergency.
I took these pictures last spring and they didn't make the cut back then. Now, with no material I guess they will have to do.
I am wearing a vintage beige shirt, a magenta pleated skirt from Paga Shop and Mini Prix shoes.
