Thailand! Nice beaches, spicey food and smiley people! I wish I would have taken more photos during this trip, but I didn’t want to carry my camera to the beach and in the evening. I should really get a good point and shoot eventually to have a camera at all time on me ^_^

I just got back from Thailand yesterday morning and it was a wonderful vacation. I haven’t had time to process all my photos yet, but I will try to post a bigger article soon. For now you can feast your eyes on this sunset I snap from my hotel room balcony.

This week there was the the Gundam Super Expo in Tokyo Dome City, I went there yesterday with my camera and my child heart. If you are in Tokyo this week, the event is going on until the 19th. It really worth visiting especially since it pretty big and also FREE!

This is the Big-O Master Grade kit, it is the biggest MG kit and also it just got release in store a few days ago.

A whole section of the show was dedicated to model design by japanese celebrity.

These are design by some players of the Japanese football ( soccer ) team. It suppose to be the same blue as their jersey, but I find them much more light blue-ish.

This is my favourite from the custom model, fruity gundam, hmm delicious.

This is an other exclusivity to the show, the Sinanju 1/144 HG model that is coming this september.

After the show, I decided to go try out the Gundam Café in Akiba since it not too far form Tokyo Dome City. There is always a line on the week-end, but if you got an hour before it close it not too bad.

The inside decoration is pretty cool, the usual stuff you would expect from a place called “Gundam Café”, giant RX-78, white plating, the Earth Federation and Zeon logo.

Since I made that whole day, “Gundam Day” I decided to grab a kit at yodobashi camera for my self. Pick up the Gundam unicorn, I like that hes all white, a lot of details and doesn’t have the typical gundam head. It a 1/144 HG kit, and it not suppose to be too hard to build, but luckily I got on of those that build it self after you are done with the torso and arm ^_^

It been a long time since I posted a video about Japan on this blog, and I just found one pretty cool today, enjoy!

These cats were so steady I decided to take some braket shots and do some HDR with them. The result is more silly than anything, but worst posting I guess.

There is so many cats on Enoshima island, almost feel like they are the resident of the place. And what surprise me the most is how much they don’t care about the thousands of visitor that comes everyday on the island. Most of them are always sleeping and are very hard to wake up ( but not dead I assure you ). I find it pretty cute too that those 3 cats from the first photo have mini tatami pad to sleep on.

Yesterday was over 34˚c and I’ve spend the afternoon in Yoyogi park drinking ice tea and playing DS. I saw many people walking their dog, I even saw a crazy lady walking her cat in a baby stroller. But it was the first time I saw someone bring a turtle to the park and made it walk for 2-3 meter, you know just to stay heathy. I have to admit, I found the little creature pretty cute, now I want a turtle!

Sorry it been a while since I posted some photos, but I’ve been pretty busy with work, photo lessons and actually shooting some pictures around the city. But I bring you a pretty nice post today with six HDR shots of the downtown of Yokohama, I hope you like them and I will try to post photos everyday again.

Gaijin season is now at it peak, even though summer might be the worst time of the year to visit Tokyo, people from all around the world come to Japan for their summer vacation. I guess most don’t have the luxury to choose when they can take their vacation, but if you do, I highly recommend you to come during Spring au Fall. Hanami season being the absolute best moment to come of course.
