Mori Tower HDR

Mori Tower is a 54-story high-rise building housing an art museum, a cinema complex, restaurants, cafes, stores, the offices of Barclays Capital, Ferrari Japan, Goldman Sachs, TV Asahi, J-WAVE,Konami, Rakuten, Livedoor, Yahoo! Japan, salesforce.com, and the Grand Hyatt Tokyo. The Pokémon Company has its headquarters in the Mori Tower. The first six levels of Mori Tower contain retail stores and restaurants. The top six floors house the Mori Art Museum and the Tokyo City View with panoramic views of the city. A new exit fromRoppongi Station empties into a glass atrium filled with large television screens and escalators, as well as several shops and restaurants. This work of art is formed with huge 6 digital counter of neon light, which has 3m20cm height each. Digital counters keep counting from 9 to 1 and do not indicate ‘0′. And each digital counter’s counting speed is different. The wall is made with neon light as background of digital counters and it changes in day and night. In daytime, background’s neon light is turned off and digital counters of white neon light are displayed. It turns over the scenery in nighttime. This dog was so huge, old and tired. Everyone passing by were taking photos of him, but he didn’t care, all he wanted was to sleep.

Last friday I went to shoot with my friend Caroline from Canada since she was visiting Tokyo. It was really fun, we simply walk around Shibuya and shoot where ever we wanted. Roof hoping in Ginza

I love to go up fire escape stairs to reach building roof, it often give me a nice vantage point to shoot. Some times I climb up 10 or 15 floors to meet a look door, or even worst, some one on the patrol asking me what I am doing up there, but usually when I explain I just want to take a photo and it will only take a minute, they let me do my things.

Akiko and the Pink Flowers

After the shooting session, me and Akiko walk a little bit around Harajuku and ended up at that shrine where there was a tree already full of small pink flower. She stop to take a photo of her own, so for once she would be behind the camera ^_^

Working with Akiko was so much fun, she’s gorgeous, dynamic and very professional. We spend most of the day shooting in Harajuku and Yoyogi park. It was a little bit cold, so I was holding her coat at the same time I was taking most of the shoots, I’m such a nice gentlemen ね! Mitsubishi Ichigokan – 三菱一号館

The building is a faithful recreation of the original Mitsubishi Ichigokan which stood on the same location.
Originally completed in 1894 and designed by British architect Josiah Conder, the building was torn down in 1968. The construction company responsible for the current incarnation used portions of the original plans and materials used at the time of the original construction. The new building, built out of red brick and cast concrete, have three stories above ground and two stories below. - Wikipedia
