After working just the internet marketing and SEO side of the business, Toledo Internet Marketing is expanding to become a full service consulting company. It has become apparent that local Toledo businesses need help in their marketing offline as well as online.

The new Toledo Internet Marketing will still be doing SEO, Article marketing, social media, press releases and all the other jobs that come with internet marketing, but we will be adding a new twist to the mix, business consulting.

Over the past 17 years I have personally owned 2 businesses with 4 separate operations. I have learned first hand how to run a business. The thing that sticks out at me the most about running a business is how caught up you can be come in the day to day operations and in the process you can lose focus.

When your focus should be on building your business, it becomes filled with doing $10 an hour jobs around your business. Most owners believe that they are going to save their businesses by cutting back on labor or limiting orders for product. Let me just say that no business has ever gotten rich by cutting costs.

The key to building a recession proof business is to focus on the 3 things that are going to build your business.

Getting more customers: This is obvious. The more people buying your products the more money you will make. Toledo Internet Marketing is well versed in funneling traffic from the web but you also have to be doing your other advertising correctly.
Get more money from your current customers: For this you need to look to see how the big companies manage this. The easiest example would be McDonald's, "would you like to super size your order?" Up sells, cross sells and continuity programs are the terms of the day.
Get your customers to buy more often: To get this to work for your business you have to stay in contact with your customers and leads. A satisfied customer is a much easier sale and costs 5 times less to get then a new customer. Keeping your company in the customers "front mind" is how you can get them to buy more often.

One of the fastest growing areas of Search Engine Optimization is video production. Thats right, Video. As you know You Tube has become a main stay for most internet surfers. What you may not realize is, Google now owns You Tube and therefore places a lot of credibility on this site.

If you have a website or product that you want to have found by the search engines, producing a video for these websites and products is the quickest way to get found.

But how do you produce a video that will not only represent your company but also help drive traffic to your site? Well I have a great tool that you can use for free. It's called Animoto. This video production site will take video, pics or whatever you have up loaded and give you the ability to turn that raw material into a professional looking product that most videographers would be proud of call theirs.

This video production site is really simple. It will walk you through the process of uploading your material, pick out some graphics and effects, allow you to choose music to use and then render the final product and then email you when the product is ready.

Here is an example I put together in about 15 minutes.

That was created by using their free version which isn't supposed to be used for business. But for the sake of giving you an example you get the idea. If you were to then take this video and upload it to You Tube and do some basic SEO you would see this production on sites like Google with a link to your site in no time.

Love For Lupe Toledo

Every once in a while you need to reach out and try to help someone who has fallen on hard times. Guadalupe Ramos is one such person. She has suffered the loss of 2 loved ones in a car accident and then a couple weeks later, she had her house burn to the ground because of a vacant house that was next door to hers caught fire.

Love for Lupe was born from this tragedy. Spear headed by Andrew Z from the morning show at 92.5 KISS FM in Toledo, he has managed, with the help of others, to have Lupe's house rebuilt. This process is on going right this very moment. There are still things that the Love for Lupe project still needs help with.

As with any endeavor like this, money is always a needed comidity, but that is not the only thing that will help. The Love for Lupe project is in need of materials to finish the project as well as voluteers to help actually get this project done.
