Victoria Beckham is launching a new limited-edition makeup collection with Estée Lauder, expected to debut in September.

The new line, which will be called Victoria Beckham Estée Lauder, is the pop star-turned-designer’s first makeup collection, though she did previously partner with Nails Inc on a nail polish duo.

Beckham—who some may still think of as Posh Spice from her days in the English girl group the Spice Girls—is more than a celebrity dabbler. She launched her high-end fashion label, Victoria Beckham, in 2008 and was surprisingly quick to earn the respect of the couture cognoscenti, garnering positive reviews from Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, the New York Times, and others.

For Beckham, partnering with the iconic beauty behemoth is a way to imbue the new line with instant credibility among makeup connoisseurs. At the same time, some of the designer’s edge and glamour may rub off on Estée Lauder, which has been attempting to reach out to younger consumers with brands like millennial-focused Estée Edit.

Shalom Nchom, aka Shalom Blac on YouTube, is a 20-year-old beauty blogger from Nigeria, who has a hugely powerful reason for wanting to prove she loves herself both with and without makeup.

Aged just nine, Shalom was in an accident involving frying oil at her family’s store and suffered extreme burns to her head, face, and neck, leaving her with severe scarring and leading to the loss of her hair.

The drastic change to Shalom’s physical appearance caused her to become the victim of cruel taunts at school, which pushed her to the brink of unhappiness.

“Life after the accident wasn’t what I thought it would be,” she told BuzzFeed. “I was stared at by kids and older people whenever I stepped out. I felt like a living statue that people came to see. It pushed me to be rude towards anyone who stared at me. I cursed people out and cried on many occasions.”

Fast forward seven years and now Shalom shares her incredible makeup tutorials on YouTube, including the empowering video where she made up half her face to show the power of makeup.

Shalom hopes that people watching her videos “can not only learn how to do makeup, but to learn to live and love themselves for who they truly are.”

“You should love yourself either way—makeup or no makeup,” she says in one of her tutorials. “Makeup is not the reason why I am happy. I’m happy because I love myself.”

A makeup artist from Malaysia more than doubled her Instagram following this week after gorgeous photos of herself dressed as Disney characters went viral.

In a series of stunning selfies, Instagram user Queen of Luna (real name: Saraswati) shows off her impressive makeup skills by transforming into Disney princesses and villains such as Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and Jafar from Aladdin. The self-proclaimed “Disnerd” incorporates her hijab in each interpretation, too.

Yesterday, The Daily Mail reported that Queen of Luna had 27,000 Instagram followers. As of today, she’s reached more than 86,000! See a selection of her masterpieces below.

Can’t get enough Jenner makeup? You’re in luck — Caitlyn just announced a new lipstick partnership with MAC. The reality TV star posted a picture of an ad for the collaboration to Instagram, along with the caption: “I’m finally free to announce my partnership with @MACcosmetics! All sales of our lipstick shade, Finally Free, go toward improving transgender communities. Look for it in April!#MACCaitlynJenner.”

MAC’s site has more details: “Today, MAC is proud to announce a partnership with Caitlyn Jenner that begins with the April 7 launch, exclusively on maccosmetics.com, of a limited-edition Lipstick created by Caitlyn.”

All the proceeds from Jenner’s collab will support the transgender community — a cause for which the transgender personality has become a vocal champion over the past year. “One hundred percent of the sales from her signature shade, Finally Free, will benefit the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative to expand its support of much needed grants to organizations and programs dedicated to improving transgender lives,” MAC says.

“I realize that I’m in a position where I can help people who are really struggling by creating a platform and bringing exposure to the issue,” Jenner said in a statement to MAC.

As for why Jenner chose MAC, rather than coming out with her own line like daughter Kylie, she says, "MAC was the first to come to me. I knew the VIVA GLAM campaigns; I saw that the proceeds were going, in those cases, mainly to AIDS and HIV causes, and I was wondering if they were interested in doing something specifically geared toward trans issues because we need funding.”

I had the opportunity to watch her on set as the Promotional Clips for Fifty:The Movie were being recorded.

She belted out her lines with such ease and perfection, I had to ask the Director if she was reading through a Tele-prompter! No breaks, 1st take and she was done…. Have you seen her as the Rich and Fabulous Tola in the movie? I shed tears in the dark as I watched her emotional outburst as a Victim of Child Abuse…. Find her in other movies like Lunchtime Heroes, a film by Seyi Babatope; Unconditional with Uche Jombo amongst others…

Dakore is also very actively involved in voluntary work for Action Aid Nigeria. Its an Ngo involved in raising money for developmental projects in Nigeria like building roads, schools, vocational training for the youth and underpriviledged, advocating womens rights. Came across the DakoreMumsworldblog for Cow&Gate, a forum /platform for young mothers, discussing the challenges of motherhood, infant feeding, weaning and everything related. Real mothers discuss real issues on there and I could totally relate.

So very thorough and professional, im always in awe of Dakores work ethics, acting skills, dedication to her projects. Dakore is never late to a set and if she is running behind schedule, calls to notify and apologize…very refreshing and endearing in an industry where some think making people wait is a sign of their superstar status….. Many can attest to the fact that she is a delight to work with, I call her an All-Rounder. I guess that is why she has her hands full and schedule filled, as everyone wants a piece of DAX…

Her beautiful features, imperfect eyebrow(a reminder from her childhood)which has become a constant feature on her face, is every BMPro makeup artists dream ( YES! Mireia Lalaguna Royo, a 23-year-old model from Barcelona, won the international beauty pageant, which took place on Saturday in Sanya, China.
