This very thing has been on my heart for a while now. Why are we in such a rush to push our kids into event and activity and as a result, push them into growing up way before their hearts are ready? They just are not ready for that much responsibility or time management. Yet, when they forget the baseball mitt, piano book, tennis racquet, are late for a practice or are unbearably crabby because they are overtired - who do we yell at? Hmmm...maybe we need to have a good talking with ourselves for a change. I know that sitting down and just having 'play time' with my kids is something I need to work on - a lot! And it is something I am trying to get better at everyday.

Wow! This is great! You've just confirmed that it's a good thing when my kids see me reading my Bible first thing in the morning and praying!

The other day I overheard my daughter reading her big girl Bible and telling her younger brother that she needed private time to read God's Word. It was really cute! I love that she's learning this so early!

Great word today!

Erin! That's fantastic. The cupcakes were probably so great. I like cupcakes especially for kids because they are their size. :) Great party, mama!
