TEXTURIZING TIPS FOR YOUR HAIR

My Facebook buddy, celebrity make-up artist, target="_blank">Nalo Jones, was kind enough to allow me to share her professional hair texturizing tips with you. Check them out here:

Tomorrow is the week before Black Friday and that means my BFF Lisa and I are headed to Reading, PA and the Vanity Fair Outlets for our annual shopping trip to do some serious Christmas shopping. We are counting down the hours. Why do we go the week before Black Friday? Well, for one thing it’s not crowded like it would be next week and most importantly they offer 20% off everything you purchase!

For tomorrow’s outfit, wear some casual dark denim download exness app for pc straight-legged jeans, a white turtleneck, and a black vest with a fur collar for running packages out to the car. Don’t forget comfortable shoes. I found these comfy LifeStride boots that will get your feet through a day of shopping while still looking fashionable.

Bargain finds on sweaters

One of my co-workers and very dear friends, Joy, recently sent me this “thank you” note and told me about some great bargain finds on sweaters she bought based on tips from my blog . It was so sweet of her and she agreed to allow me to share this with you.

Hi Steph-

I was off yesterday for an appointment, but I had a little free time afterward, so I did a little shopping…. And I wanted to let you know I used tips from your blog and your presentation at the Women’s Symposium to help me along. I looked for “signature” pieces…things that would expand my wardrobe. Thinking this way was really helpful. Instead of just looking at what I liked, I thought about how it would fit into what I already had and how it might expand on that.

I was trying REALLY hard to keep my spending down because my husband lost his job, but I think I did really good. I had already bought a few turtlenecks and long sleeve tops for the season in black and white. But I found…

1. A black short sleeved shrug (I tried it on with blouses, turtlenecks, etc, when I got home & they all looked great with it)

2. A mutli-colored sweater that I can wear with black, brown or gray https://www.exness.za.com/mt4 dress pants. It also has a few pops of color (red, orange) in it

3. A purple sweater (I’ll have to see if I can send you a pic on this one… I just LOVE it and I can wear it with black, brown, gray, blue pants)

4. A dark reddish orange sweater (OK… this one was because I just liked it and the price was right. Originally $40 and I got it for $9.99)

5. An Erica Lyons necklace on clearance

6. A pair of Erica Lyons earrings on clearance.

All totaled, the retail cost of the items was $237, but I got it all for $52. Love those deals!

Fall for this hottest cool fall color

This fall, fall for the hottest cool fall color, gray. Gray is the new black for this fall. You will be seeing gray in all the fall wardrobe pieces. Everything from scarves, to jackets, tees, dresses, leggings, and even shoes will be sporting this cool neutral. Gray is the new black, because it’s so versatile and can be just as slimming as black, especially when you wear head-to-toe grays in similar or varying shades.

What colors can you wear with gray? Here are a few good pointers from one of my favorite sites, MyShape.com: Jewel tones, berry colors and metallics really pop against gray. Pale colors like seafoam and pink look great with gray. If you think you can’t wear gray with your skintone, think again, because you can add those pops of color to bring out your radiant skin color.

Here’s a cute outfit for tomorrow’s outfit. Wear these gray leggings with this gray tank, add a long-sleeved gray tee and don’t forget to paint your nails with this gunmetal gray nail polish.

Online Avon Party
