Our mission is to discover how best to educate, inform, and empower the citizens of the United States in their relationship with current issues and policies. It is the goal of this endeavor to determine how to combat bias and provide checks and balances to the journalism industry itself. We wish to seek news from all perspectives and to rely on the forces of reason utilized by individual users to pull out the truth from amidst the biased displays of news. We want to encourage citizens to challenge all assumptions, reporters, and articles, and discover how to empower them with the social networking tools to take action and effect positive change on issues they are passionate about. Our aim is to transform and improve the journalism industry and in doing so attempt to transform and improve democracy in the United States.
