През 2009г. той &nbsp;потегля на околосветско пътешествие из 36 страни, заедно със собственичката си, благодарение на която е спасен - Джоан Лефсон. Целта на тяхното пътуване е събиране на средства за подпомагане осиновяването на бездомните кучета и привличане на общественото внимание към проблема. Така през 2010г. излиза книгата "Около света: Моите пътешествия с Оскар", написана от Джоан.
