Fall Forcast- RED HOT

Fall 2011, Menswear, We are seeing alot more color in menswear for 2011, one example of this that i am enjoying is Dolce & Gabbana Pre Fall 2011 men's runway show exhibiting Red in all shades and fabrics. My personal Favorite is the First Red Metallic Suit to die for.

Now you might notice that the suits were shown with a crisp white shirt buttoned all the way up and with no tie which i feel gives the suit a very interesting Clean Streamline look. If a Entire red suit is to much for you to handle, Try breaking up the peaces wearing the red blazer with a grey pant, or the red pant with a Grey blazer, it would be really interesting and beautiful. I would avoid pairing the red peaces with a black peace it would be to stark and dated.

This look is very Fashion Forward and bold so if your more of a Classic Type Fellow you can incorporate Red into Smaller more subtle areas of your wardrobe For Modern Impact.

Add Red Shoes to a classic neutral outfit.

Sixteen at Trump Tower Chicago

Today i met my friend Tayben for lunch at Trump Tower here in Chicago.We haven't seen each other for a while so we spent hours catching up and having a grand time at sixteen ( the name of the restaurant in trump tower). there are separate dinning areas and we got our own private dinning room.The food is contemporary American and it was amazingly Delicious.The restaurant hosts 360 degree views of the city and 30 foot windows.The service was Amazing and the atmosphere was to die for we both give sixteen 5 stars, Definitely a nice place to dine.

I Dream about these Lanvin spring 2011 python skin oxfords. They are definitely a luxury statement shoe and they go perfectly with the Lanvin Men's Python Clutch i got from there spring 2011 collection.

Snake skin is always a key trend for spring every year. Exotic skins like python are an investment peace for your wardrobe, They usaly run in the thousands and they are very delicate, So you have to be carefull with them. Exotic skins are a great way to add texture and pattern to any outfit.

The oxford is a classic mens style of shoe and adding a colourfull exotic skin to them makes them Modern yet Timeless.

Louis Vuitton showed a model rocking blue lips on there last runway show,Makeup magazines and Vogue in Beauty have been showing blue lips for years now but its starting to hit the main stream market,

What do you think about the blue lips ? As a makeup artist i personally love the look.

Gay Rights has quickly become a new Fad used by celebrities and media alike to gain attention to themselves. While it is a good thing to draw attention to gay rights and the inequality that many gay people face in America the land of the "free".It is not a good thing to use others pain and suffering for your own benefit and fame. Its easy to see who truly believe in the cause that gives homosexual people the same inalienable rights as heterosexual people.It is also easy to see what attention seeking,selfish,fake people are using the cause as a pedestal to extend there 15 minutes of fame.

I do believe in equality for all, I don't believe in pop culture icons using equality for there own selfish benefits

December 27th 2010, Photoshoot

This morning i went on set and did makeup for a photo shoot with Photographer Chris Nightingale,The makeup was 1960s inspired with a modern twist, the clothing was Lacey and sheer Romantic and sexy.The set was really amazing it was inside of a wear house, full of weird Vintage Objects, there was one set up that was a room completely painted one shade of grey including the objects in the room. When the Photos are ready i will post them here for you guys to see and enjoy.

After the Photo shoot me and V went to a sports bar and had buffalo wings and things. AMAZING.

Then when i got home i checked my mail box and found that LANVIN sent me a Holiday Card which i found amazingly cute and nice, Its great to see a company appreciate there customers.

When i first met Alexander Wang back in 2009, The first thing i thought when i saw him was

"wow this man has the most amazing skin"

So its no suprise that his runway shows usaly consist of clean faced beautiful glowing skin models Like These.

The Wet Skin look is beautiful and simple and it is always a big trend in Makeup for spring. I will show you three easy steps to get this skin focused makeup look.

Prep the skin using MAC Strobe Cream all over the face

Strobe cream is a highly light reflective moisterizer that makes skin light up instantly.

Use MAC shine mixing medium on the top of cheek bones and center of the face

We are ALL SAINTS and sinners

An amazing new store is hitting the streets of Chicago's Michigan avenue. This British brand brings an amazing assortment of interesting and unique peaces.There designs remind me of a marriage between the amazingly talented fashion designer Rick Owens, and the Young and talented Alexander Wang (who iv had the great pleasure to work with in the past).

The store is going to be Huge they are taking over 700 n Michigan ave. its an amazing 11,000 square foot space. I Don't know about you but I'm excited for 11,000 square feet of amazing fashion.

Just for the record-That is 3 thousand square feet bigger than there newly opened new york store in the meat packing district !

Remember Metallics are neutral and a good way to add some flare and update a wardrobe.

It may be hard to accessorize a metallic, So I went for an over sized cocktail ring that is clear it ads a nice statement without overpowering the shirt and makeup.

Spring summer makeup is all about beautiful glowing skin and bold pops of colour. Don't be afraid to try something new with your makeup its all about having fun !

If you aren't quit ready to wear metallic clothing you may want to try unexpected Metallic accessories such as a bag or even sunglasses (shown Bellow).

Louis Vuitton called upon Scott Campbell a talented young tattoo artist based in New York City to help create the Men's spring/summer 2011 collection along side Marc Jacobs.

The Scott Cambell for Louis Vuitton men's bags are quit different the brands usual men's bag. This one is done on the classic graphite damier print with a stenciled in white horse designed by Scott Cambell.

This beautiful bag is done completely in leather with the stencil imprinted into the leather. I love the texture that this design brings to this bag.( this is my favorite one)

All in all i am excited to see Louis Vuitton do something new in Men's Bags

and am excited to go see these in person and who knows maybe i will add one of these

to my Louis Vuitton collection.

Holographic Nail Trend

I love nail polish i have over 57 different ones and you will probably never see my nails bare. I own every brand of polish from Chanel to Deborah Lippmann. I was at Walgreen's and saw a few very affordable nail polish options to help get this holographic nail trend that is perfect for Holiday time.

This is the effect we are going for

This is what we will be using

First coat your nails with a dark nail polish( I used mac nocturnal) but any dark polish will do

then do a coat with Sinful colors polish in (All about me $1.99)

once that dries fllow up with a coat of wet n wild polish in (#460D) (99 cents)

use your favorite top coat and your done ! and its a fabulous result

Prada SS 2011

The classic silhouette of Prada meet the whimsical stripes,patterns and colours of the future.I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. it is one of the most inspiring shows of the season. It almost feels as if Prada took a 1920s woman and drooped her in the year 3020.

I am a sucker for accessories in general, So its no surprise that they stole the show for me, The bags,shoes,sunglasses,hats and fur stoles are to die for i will be dreaming of them all spring long !

Beauty Note

Prada paired a beautiful vintage finger wave hairdo with a dramatic metallic silver eye blown up and out from lid to brow keeping the rest of the skin clean and fresh. this mix of vintage and futuristic go perfectly with the entire collection.

To get the makeup look from the prada spring summer 2011 show try M.A.C Pigment in "Silver" (available at mac pro stores) .

Hint
wet a 224 brush with fix plus before dipping it in the pigment start at the base of the eye and blow it upward to the brow going slightly out past the brow bone keeping the shape rounded.

Keep the rest of your makeup light weight and clean for a modern feel.
