Custom Jewelry is a Great Christmas Gift

Pictured on this blog are some pieces of recently made custom designed jewelry I did for my Internet customers. I am currently taking custom jewelry orders for Christmas so be sure to get your order in today. Above is a matching sterling silver pendant set. The original was hand carved and cast in silver and a rubber mold was made from it which was used to make the additional pendant.

The unique cross and flower design pendant is done in sterling silver. If I make a unique original piece for you I will not make a duplicate of the design unless you ask for it. This insures that your design will not be duplicated without your permission.

The image below is a custom designed bracelet made in 14 karat white gold with beads set in each link that the customer provided. The first link was cast in gold and a rubber mold was made. This mold was used to make the other links used in this custom bracelet.

Pictured on the left is a unique custom ring done in sterling silver with a round black onyx stone set in the center. Your ring can be made in either silver or gold. Any gemstones you wish can be set in the design. The possibilities are endless.

On the right is a unique 14 karat gold logo pendant I made for a customer recently. I make all types of unique custom logo jewelry including pendants, rings or pins. Custom Jewelry that You Design

Pictured are four of my recent custom jewelry creations made for my Internet customers. Above is a baby white tiger ring with diamond eyes. It was done in 18 karat white gold. I can make jewelry in either sterling silver or gold. If gold is used it can be either 10, 14 or 18 karat and can be cast in either yellow and white color gold. I can supply many types of gemstones to use in jewelry including both natural and synthetic stones. The picture below is an initial pendant done in 14 karat yellow gold.

Below is a custom pendant I made for the Silent Heroes Foundation which does veterinary nonprofit work in Africa. It is done in sterling silver with some of the background antiqued.

Below is a pair of of initial cufflinks I made recently. They were cast using sterling silver as the metal. The background is antiqued black using an oxidation process.

Custom Made Jewelry

Pictured on this blog are four examples of my recently created custom jewelry. The pieces include three pendants and one bracelet. All were made using the lost wax casting method in which a wax model is created of your jewelry design and it is cast in the metal of your choice. To see a discussion with pictures of this complete process see my custom jewelry manufacturing page. The first picture is a unique sterling silver dragon logo pendant.

Three of the pieces are made in sterling silver and one is 18 karat yellow gold. Your custom jewelry can be made in either sterling silver or 10, 14 or 18 karat gold, or platinum. The gold can be yellow or white color. If you have scrap gold it can be used to make your custom ring or pendant. Your own gemstones can also be used to create your unique jewelry.

I can supply any gemstones such as diamonds, rubies, sapphires and emeralds. I also cut semi-precious gemstones for custom jewelry. My designer cut gemstone page has some examples of stones available.

I give free price quotes on all jewelry making projects. Before any work is done you can receive a sketch of your jewelry for your approval. As the wax carving nears completion you will receive pictures of the wax model for your approval.

The pendant above is done in sterling silver and it is a logo design. Pictured on the right is a custom made 18 karat yellow gold pendant with diamonds.

Custom Handmade Jewelry Made for You

Pictured in this post is some of the recent work I have made for my customers. The top picture is a gents gold ring done with an ank design on a textured finish band. The customer provided the gold used to make this ring. On the right is a fabricated gents bracelet that was done in sterling silver. This bracelet was not cast but was made using silver wire and parts.

On the left is a unique custom made sterling silver piano ring. All my work is one-of-a-kind so I don't make duplicates of designs I've already made for my customers. If the customer wants additional copies of a design I made for them a rubber mold is made of the original. This rubber mold is used to make additional copies of the piece.

My name is Tony Payne and I have been a jewelry designer for over 25 years. I manufacture handmade custom jewelry that my customers design. This includes unique handmade pendants of all types. The picture above is a birthstone pendant done in 14 karat yellow gold. The pendant on the right is done in 14 karat white gold and is set with 3 diamonds that the customer provided.

Your jewelry can be made in either sterling silver, 10 or 14 karat gold or platinum. Any gemstones you choose can be included in the design. All the pictures on this blog are examples of jewelry that I have done for my Internet customers.

I can make a sketch of your pendant design for your approval. This service is free. Once you approve the sketch and I receive your down payment a wax model is carved of the design. You will receive picture updates of the wax model as it is being made.

After your approval this wax model is cast in the precious metal of your choice. The model is destroyed by extreme heat in the jewelry making procedure. This ancient jewelry making process is called "lost wax casting".

Custom Meteorite Jewelry - The Falling Star Pendant from Payne's Custom Jewelry

Meteorites have always fascinated me so about a year ago I started my own meteorite collection. I purchased some with which to make custom jewelry. Pictured above is my new custom meteorite jewelry design. I am calling this the "Falling Star Pendant". This sterling silver pendant is set with a genuine nickel-iron meteorite from China which fell to earth in May of 1516. This unique designer pendant weighs 16 grams and is 45 mm tall (1-3/4 inches) from the top of the bail.

The two general types of meteorites are stony and metallic. I have only collected the metal variety so far. They have the classic meteorite look.

Some meteorites are called individuals and other are classifies as fragments. The individuals have their surface eroded by the atmosphere and have regmaglyphs or ablation cavities on the surface of the specimen.

I have collected meteorites from Russia, China and Argentina. All have particular characteristics that set them apart from each other. To start your own "out of this world" collection just go to Ebay and search for "iron meteorite".

The custom logo pendant pictured above was made for a good client of mine recently. I do a good bit of custom company logo jewelry for my Internet customers. This pendant is made in 14 karat yellow and white gold with a black onyx stone in the center and natural rubies on the wings.

I currently have this unique handmade pendant made with fossilized dinosaur coprolite, commonly know as poop, for sale on Ebay. There are ten days until this auction ends.

The designer cut gemstone was expertly cut from rough material I purchased on Ebay. I looked months for the best quality rough stone to buy. This gemstone is fossilized coprolite, or poop, from a dinosaur that lived millions of years ago in Utah. The beautiful red and white color stone has a mirror polish.

Gold Price Hits a 10 Year High

Gold closed at around $764 an ounce today which is a 10 year high for the metal. What should you do? Invest in gold bars? Probably not.

Why not make a piece of custom jewelry for yourself using old jewelry you already have? You can also use gemstones in your design if you like. Or, if you don't have any scrap gold laying around you can have your custom ring or pendant made in sterling silver. It costs much less and is still a precious metal. Jewelry has been made in silver for thousands of years.

I recently made a custom pendant for a customer and she requested I use her gold and stones in the design. She sent me a picture of the pendant design and stone layout she wanted. My estimate was for the labor on the carving and casting as well as the stone setting. She provided all the materials needed to make the pendant.
