How To Patch:

1. Download DJ Max Fever Patch HERE
2. Extract the Zip file
3. Copy your DJ Max Fever Iso into the patch folder
4. Rename iso file to “fever” or “fever.iso” (if your game has iso on the end, then leave it there)
5. run the PATCH program and press a key to patch
   
    
6. use UMDGen to compress the iso file and save as .cso
7.  copy the fever.cso file to your memory stick

I’ve been encountering several Sony PSP Custom Firmware user which still have old version as old as 3.71 M33 although its far away from the current CFW release 5.00 M33-6. I cannot blame them if they think that upgrading their PSP might cause problem since there was an issue before with the release of 3.80 M33 custom firmware being very slow and several games are unplayable due to severe lag in game specially those who have PSP Phat/Fat version and those who are using Class A memory sticks. Dark AleX has released the latest custom firmware update. It’s actually a double whammy, with him creating M33-5 and updating that to the latest M33-6 just a few moments later!

This update is a try to fix memory stick low speed since 3.80.

Changes in 5.00 M33-5:

A setting has been added to recovery, that, when enabled it may increase memory stick reading speed. (only on the psp, not in the pc). By default it is disabled. If you installed 3.71 fatmsmod, do not use this setting, as its perfomance with 3.71 driver has not been tested. Instead, reinstall 5.00 m33-4 using dc8 and update to 5.00 m33-5

Changes in 5.00 M33-6:

Fixed a bug that made unbootable psp without memory stick or with a bad one.

The included file fat_comparison.html contains a comparison of perfomance between the 5.00 fat driver, the 3.71 one, and the 5.00 one with the speed up hack during the read of an iso. The test was done on the game Valkyrie Profile in cso format in march33 mode. Other games, modes and applications different than iso reading showed similar results.

Instructions:

• Copy UPDATE folder /PSP/GAME/ and run.

After several years of waiting we can now play Super Robot Wars Alpha Gaiden in full english in our PSP thanks to AGTP Team for the wonderfull translation. What we have here is a mostly-complete beta patch. There are several known issues, so do be sure to read the readme and apprise yourself of them. You should be able to enjoy it quite well as it is, though. - AGTP. For those who are not familiar with Super Robot Wars or SRW it is basically a Turn-Based Strategy game with full of robots from different anime series like, Gundam, Voltron, Voltes V and more…

How to Play SRW Alpha Gaiden on your PSP:

   • If you want to patch / translate the game yourself:

2. Extract the file, you’ll get Folder and 2 Files inside it.
3. Rename the folder to make it shorter (e.g. SRW Alpha Gaiden)
4. Copy the extracted files and folder in your PSP Memory Stick
   • PSP > GAME directory

Playing PSX games on your PSP has been long available since the release of Custom Firmwares version 3.xx but many still haven’t used or tried it yet since they are having trouble installing POPS loader. This tutorial teach you the basic things you need to play PSX games instantly. Also please take note that not all of PSX games are compatible or have bugs when played on PSP.  I suggest to look first the PSX on PSP compatibilty list . Take note that you must have Custom Firmware PSP version to the steps below.

Here’s a mini tutorial on how to play PSX (Playstation One) games on your PSP

1. Download my SEPLUGINS rar file basically that’s all you need. [ DIRECT DOWNLOAD ]
2. Extract the file in to your PSP Memory stick root folder.
   
3. Copy your Downloaded PSX Games into PSP >> GAME folder of your memory stick
   • PSX PSP ready games are consist of 2 files EBOOT.PBP and Keys.bin
     
     
   • If you .ISO file you still need to convert to be played in PSP
4. After you copied all the files on your PSP disconnect it from USB and turn off your PSP
5. Restart your PSP in Recovery Mode by holding R Button / Trigger while turning on your PSP
6. Check if popsloader is enabled
   • Go to Plugins > then you’ll see popsloader.prx [POPS] <Enabled>
7. Exit Recovery Menu and your PSP will automatically restart to normal mode just don’t press and hold again the R Button while booting.
8. Try now your PSX game on your PSP

I’ve been using Google Chrome since the beta came out to the public and I loved it since then. Recently I found out that Google Chrome doesn’t provide an user interface to enable or disable proxy server settings but is sharing Internet Properties settings with Internet Explorer. So if Internet Explorer is using proxy server, Google Chrome will use it also meaning both are sharing the same proxy server settings. Thanks Jhay for the tip! 

Here’s How to enable or disable proxy server settings of Internet Explorer without affecting Google Chrome and vice versa

1. On Internet Explorer click on Tools > Internet Option
   • You can also press alt button to show the menu toolbar 
2. On Google Chrome click on Settings (wrench icon) > Options
   • Click on Under the Hood Tab
   • Look for Network then click on Change Proxy Settings 
3. Copy the settings as shown on the screenshot 
   
   
4. Now, close both Internet Explorer and Google Chrome
5. then Open again, you’ll notice that you cannot browse or search the internet using IE and Chrome
6. You can fix Google Chrome not to use the same proxy settings by adding  –proxy-server= in your Google Chrome shortcut. use this –proxy-server if the other one did not work on you. Thanks again Jhay for the tip
    
7. click the OK button then launch again Google Chrome 
8. verify now if  you can now browse the internet.

In my previous post on How to fix res//ieframe.dll/dnserror.htm I used Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to fix the problem but you can also use that to clean other Spyware and Malware using the same tool. The common spyware and malware lurking from the internet to day those fake anti-spywares such as MS Anti-Spyware 2009 which is similar to XP Antivirus 2008.

To fix Adware, Malware, Spyware problem I usually do these simple steps:

1. Check your startup items
   • Start > Run > type in: msconfig
   • for Vista, click the windows orb button > in Start Search > type in: msconfig
   • go to Startup Tab then uncheck any suspicous items. If your not sure what is try googling it first.

   

   • another way to disable or delete startup items is by using CCleaner . this is one of my favorite tool for cleaning up junks from your computer.
   • you can choose to delete or disable startup items.

   

2. Download and Install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
   • After installing, perform a full scan
   • Selected all detected items and delete it.
   • Restart your computer

   

3. Download and Run the Free Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool
   • Do a full system scan, don’t forget to check your local drives to be scanned.

   

   • Restart your computer after cleaning is done.
4. If the above step did not fix adware, malware, spyware on your computer but you know what adware, malware, spyware infected your computer try googling again.
5. If adware, malware, spyware are detected but cannot be clean or remove, try this: Clean Virus Without Booting in Windows

6. If anything has failed. Backup your files and reformat your computer.

I saved many computers using the method above. I hope your computer will also be save.

After going back again from work after a long holiday vacation, I was surprised that the Windows XP Laptop we are using in the office have again, yes “again” have viruses, malwares and spywares (since our we have shared workstation at work). But the problem I faced the most was Slow Web Browsing on both Internet Explorer and Firefox and ” res//ieframe.dll/dnserror.htm “.

I fixed the problem using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.31 [Download Mirror]

1. Perform a Quick Scan since it successfully detected and fix the problem but I still recommend you do a Full Scan.
2. Malwarebyte’s Anti-Malware will mostly detect the Trojans as see on screenshot below that caused the problem
   
3. After Cleaning / Removing the Trojans by Malwarebyte’s, I suggest you also checked your startup using ” msconfig ” command from ” Start Menu > Run ” then unchecked all startup items that are similar from the result of the scan.
4. More or less your problem would be fix. It do the job for me.
5. I also suggest if you are using anti-virus aside from kaspersky to scan your PC using Kaspersky’s Virus Removal Tool .

Avatars are commonly used in web forums to identify your posts, but you can also use it on blogs. Unlike web forums, you need to customize your profile on each web forum to have your avatar the same with your account on other web forums but in Blogs, you do not need to customize your profile or even sign up on the blog site just to have your avatar, what all you need is to sign up with  Gravatar  setup your profile and you’re done, since Gravatar is used by almost all of the blog sites now.

What is a gravatar?

A gravatar, or globally recognized avatar, is quite simply an avatar image that follows you from blog to blog appearing beside your name when you comment on gravatar enabled sites. Avatars help identify your posts on web forums, so why not on blogs?

If you have your own blog, you only need to install the Gravatar Plugin  in your site.  If you don’t have your own blog site but you enjoy posting comments and post into other blog sites you Signup for Gravatar Account but I also do suggest the blog owners also signup for their own account.

To use gravatar on other blogs

You only need to use the email address same with your account with Gravatar.

If you haven’t choosed your Gravatar Avatar, or if you still don’t have gravatar account, your Avatar may look like the avatar of Jhay but in some blog sites, the avatar will be a random cartoonish picture.
