New AI tools in Cosmos

With Search by Image, users can upload a reference image to locate similar 3D models, materials, furniture, décor, product references, or visual styles within the Chaos Cosmos library. Refine the search by cropping the uploaded image to isolate a particular object or region. Users can add a text prompt to narrow the visual results further. This provides an alternative to keyword-based asset discovery when the desired look is easier to show than describe.

The new AI 3D Model Generation feature lets users create a custom Cosmos-ready 3D model from one image directly in the Cosmos Browser. Designed for situations where an appropriate asset is not already available in the library, this allows artists to create a model and bring it into a scene without a separate conversion or asset-preparation stage.

What’s in beta for Chaos Cosmos AI Tools

Chaos is currently testing AI 3D Model Generation in early beta and actively requests user feedback to refine the experience and output quality. You can inspect geometry and wireframes using the interactive 3D viewer. Finally, download and save your models alongside other Cosmos assets.

The beta offers a choice of two generation models:

Users can also balance speed and output quality through presets and controls for resolution, polygon count, texture resolution, and an experimental Shape Fidelity option.
