CUSTOM MOBILE LOUNGE FULL INTERIOR

2012-11-13T19:44:00.000-08:00

This client wanted to have a vehicle that can make special appearances and be able to take his own clients out to special events. I started with a used motor home that ran well and gutted it out. Removed the kitchen, shower areas, all cabinetry and seating/tables. Added a 43", 32" and 20" screens for video, added a smaller 5.1 surround sound system with Blue ray player. All new seating, counter area with a wet bar that holds a beer fridge and wine cooler. Well instead of my boring writing take a look at the after/before and during pictures, Enjoy

40ft CUSTOM HORSE TRAILER MAKEOVER

2012-11-13T16:57:00.000-08:00

This client had a massive 40ft six horse trailer and wanted to make the living space larger and with having a large mid-tack room it was an easy decision to cut it in half to make the living area BIGGER. From top to bottom and side to side, every part of this area was redone. I'm sure that you will be able to distinguish between the old and new :-) Enjoy the photos

2009 SCION TC CUSTOM TRUNK

2012-11-13T16:32:00.000-08:00

This client wanted something custom but didn't have the budget for fiberglass work, this is an "old school" look but is still clean and sounds great.

PORSCHE CAYANNE CUSTOM DASH KIT AND HEADREST SCREENS

2012-11-12T13:47:00.000-08:00

This Porsche was a pleasure to work on, once again I wanted the head unit to look like it was factory installed. I had to attach the pocket to the factory radio and then start to make the Alpine head unit fit. This is time consuming to do but can be done in under 8hrs. These photos show step by step on how I build my custom dash kits using the factory radios as my outer trim and mold in the aftermarket trim ring for a nice factory finish. Enjoy

LEXUS RX350 CUSTOM DASH KIT AND HEADREST SCREENS

2012-11-12T13:34:00.000-08:00

Well as you might know by now, I do like to make my radio installs to look as factory as possible. This Lexus was no exception, in the photos you will see a step by step process on how to custom make your own dash kit to mold in the aftermarket radio. Also did Alpine headrest screens. Enjoy

INFINITI G35 CUSTOM FIBERGLASS TRUNK SETUP

2012-11-12T13:26:00.000-08:00

This G35 wanted to standout a bit more than the ones with basic sub boxes, I added a 19" screen on the trunk lid, a Sony PS3, Alpine Subs and Amps. With these photos you can get a good idea in how to do this, its all about preparation and making really good templates to work off of.

INFINITI QX-56 CUSTOM AUDIO/VIDEO WITH INTERIOR MODS

2012-11-08T14:06:00.000-08:00

Here is one of my really good clients QX-56, he also owns the Nissan 350Z that I have done loads of work to also. He wanted a small upgrade to his factory system, so I pulled it all completely out and started to modify the dash for the double din Alpine head unit. In the photos you can see how I had to custom mount the radio, how I made special mounts for the speaker, mount a PS3 into the center consol and built a custom sub enclosure with a 19"screen in between the subs. The amps were mounted below the sub screen enclosures, I modified the overhead console to accept the Alpine drop down screen, I also did headrest screens and added accents to the doors. Enjoy

FULLY CUSTOMIZED MAZDA P5 PROTEGE "FAMILIA"

2012-11-07T20:42:00.000-08:00

This client of has had everything done to her car except for the carpet and some parts of the dash. Everything else was done by myself in stages as her budget would allow. I started with the rear sub and amp enclosure with the custom floor panel with the modified Mazda emblem to take the shape of an "S" for the name of the car "STRANGE". The rear seats got covered to match the front Sparco seats. The second faze was the custom door panels that I fiber glassed over to show off the Alpine Type-R components in the front and coax in the rear, I also added inlaid "S" Mazda emblems and a Plexiglas feature for the fronts and I used more Sparco seat material to cover the tops of the doors and the passenger side dash panel. The next faze was the addition of the Alpine double din, relocation of the Alpine center channel speaker to the center vent area, also a small dash feature was built to add a custom touch to the top of the dash with the word "STRANGE' and Mazda emblem that light up and a custom made holder for the Air Ride system. I also applied suede to the headliner, all the pillars and moved the voltage and air/fuel gauges into the cup holder on custom mounts so the lid will still close over top of them. If I'm missEnjoy!!!

2006 LEXUS GS430 CUSTOM TRUNK SETUP AND VIDEO

2012-11-03T21:52:00.000-07:00

This client is proud of his heritage so in the trunk I made him a tribute to remind him where he came from. I also added headrest screens and a DVD Changer using Alpine's "HUB Pro" off of the factory head unit. Enjoy.

2005 SATURN ION CUSTOM DASH KIT

2012-11-03T21:43:00.000-07:00

This is another example on how an aftermarket head unit can look more like factory. Again, same as the others, I mount the deck first and make sure its straight/solid/level. I then make sure the dash can fit around the stereo and trim anything if needed. Then I attach the new radio trim ring to the cars dash, sometimes you might need to add some "abs" plastic to fill in the gaps, this is way better than trying to just fill it body filler/bond because you are guaranteed not to have any cracks in the future. Once you have all the "big" gaps filled with other plastic, its time then to apply your filler, it the area is needing a good bit of filler, start with long strand 'Kitty hair' (bondo with long fiberglass fibers mixed within), if its not too big then use short strand (Filler that has short fiberglass fibers mixed within), if its minimal then use plain bond and if its tiny use body glaze(Finishing bondo). If you start with a bigger gap just work your way down the line to make your "custom dash" last forever. Take a look at all the other projects as it will help you understand the process a ton better. Enjoy

2002 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE CUSTOM SUB ENCLOSURE AND AMP RACK

2012-11-03T17:10:00.000-07:00

This Client just likes going "Big" with wheels and bass. So to match his 24" shoes, I hooked him up with some big Kicker power and Subs. He liked RDS and his initials were RD and that's why just the RD ended up on the sub box/amp rack.

2003 CADILLAC ESCALADE CUSTOM DASH AND SUB ENCLOSURE WITH AMP RACK

2012-11-03T16:58:00.000-07:00

This Escalade came to me in a odd condition with the factory radio beat right up and who wants a factory radio anyways??? So out it came and I custom molded the new Alpine trim ring into the dash and I custom built a fiberglass sub box with a place for the amp to sit in the middle. The equipment was supplied by the the client (Amp and Subs)

2003 TOYOTA CELICA CUSTOM AMP RACK/SUB ENCLOSURE AND TRUNK SET UP

2012-11-03T16:45:00.000-07:00

This Client wanted her car to reflect the person she is so I added the wording "Minx" that i cut out by hand and then covered in the "Flocking" process (blue). I built the sub enclosure into the spare tire well and gave it a full trim panel "false floor" effect then added a custom fiberglass amp rack to give the installation some added depth.

1979 MERCEDES 560SL CUSTOM SUB BOX/AMP RACK IN BACKSEAT AREA

2012-11-03T16:34:00.000-07:00

This Client wanted some bass out of his SL but didn't want it to look too out of place. I did in pretty simply, just starting with a hood position for the 10" sub and then built a framing system to hold the amp rack. I then trimmed it out with a panel covered in factory Mercedes carpet and a small vent for the sub.

1997 DODGE "sleeper"NEON, CUSTOM AUDIO AND NITROS

2012-11-03T16:21:00.000-07:00

This Clients Dodge Neon is not one to think "its only a Neon", I started this car with a basic false floor set-up. After a break-in he decided to take his Neon to a different level but he still wanted a stereo. I added 2 Nitros bottles with 2 fiberglass sub boxes and a custom amp rack. The photos show the new and old systems.

2002 CADILLAC ESCALADE CUSTOM SUB ENCLOSURE /AMP RACK AND CUSTOM DOOR PODS

2012-10-30T17:19:00.001-07:00

This Escalade continues to change, I started with the custom mounting of the Pioneer head unit into the center console with plans of adding a large video screen in the upper dash area. I then did the custom fiberglass Sub box for 2 JL-W7'S 12" and amp rack combo. Then i did the custom door pods front/rear for his 6.5"component speakers. Enjoy!

2003 CHEVROLET SILVERADO QUAD CAB CUSTOM VIDEO

2012-10-29T08:45:00.000-07:00

As many clients want bigger TV screen in their vehicles, we keep looking for places to put them. This 10" screen fits perfect into the dash after relocating the main head unit down to the center console and the heater HVAC controls to the side of the center console on the drivers side. Here's a quick look on how I molded the screen in but due to clients budget at the time, I did not get to mold in the lower JVC head unit.

1997 MERCEDES CUSTOM AMP RACK, SUB BOX AND VIDEO

2012-10-29T08:35:00.000-07:00

Added headrest screens, painted trims to match the interior. Using 2 JL W7's, the box had to be installed in two parts, trimmed out the sub box with fiberglass corners and flushed the amps into the floor as well trimmed them out.

2004 ESCALADE CUSTOM SUB ENCLOSURE

2012-10-29T08:27:00.000-07:00

This is another tight space to add subs and amps again not wanting it to look square by building a wood box, the fiberglass came out and I created this enclosure. This time I used MDF on the floor, back and side. Then creating dividers to gibe the subs proper air space and allow me to run the amp wires from behind and under the amplifier. Carpeted to match the Escalades factory flooring and trimmed perfectly to the rear floor panel.

2004 CHEVROLET SILVERADO SS

2012-10-29T08:19:00.000-07:00

This client wanted to add 2 amps and two 10" subs, he didn't want a square prefab box so I made this fiberglass enclosure to give him the look he wanted. Its a tight space but using fiberglass you can utilize a lot of space that not able to be done with traditional wood boxes.

2006 LAND ROVER LR3 CUSTOM HEAD UNIT INSTALLATION

2012-10-26T22:30:00.000-07:00

I did this LR3 before any dash kit was available for it and I had to get the right shape into my custom dash kit or it would just look too flat. The color that I painted the kit after is a great match but because it has a little more metallic in it than the factory color, it shows a little off in pictures due to the flash.

2000 ACURA INTEGRA CUSTOM SURROUND SOUND CENTER CHANNEL ADDITION

2012-10-26T22:21:00.000-07:00

Why cant you enjoy movie quality sound in your car??? Actually you can, the cabin area of any vehicle is an awesome space and with the correct placement of speakers it works so well. Here I took out the factory center vents on this Integra to add the Center Channel speaker. Inside the dash i had to block off the venting with an ABS plastic cover and mold in the trim ring for the center channel into the Integras dash. I then texture coated and painted "Trim Black (3M)" to give it that stock appearance.

1992 ACURA INTEGRA CUSTOM TRUNK LAYOUT

2012-10-26T22:09:00.000-07:00

In this Integra I must have done about 5 complete systems in over the years that I have know this client. I redid the trunk area to give it a cleaner more modern look. This setup also covers the Air Ride tank and 2 compressors but is easy enough yo service by just removing the center panel. The top of the box is done in fiberglass and the rest was done with trim panels to gold the amps on each side.

2000 AUDI A4 CUSTOM HEAD UNIT INSTALLATION

2012-10-26T06:58:00.001-07:00

When its time to upgrade your head unit, do you think of how out of place they look sometimes? well by using my techniques the aftermarket could look better than your factory and giving you way more options. This is how i do it, i again use the face of the factory head unit, i then mount and wire the radio into the dash, i place the factory face over the aftermarket radio, i trace out the size of the radio , then cut out the hole, with a couple test fits and some extra trimming so the aftermarket radio is completely visible, you then use some ABS plastic strips to fill in the gaps on top/bottom and both sides. give it a good ruff sanding then fill in the small areas with your filler compound, lightly sand one last time then spray primer, then 3M texture coating then spray with 3M's Trim black paint and tour done, sounds pretty easy :-)

2005 NISSAN TITAN CUSTOM UNDER SEAT FIBERGLASS SUB ENCLOSURE

2012-10-26T06:35:00.000-07:00

In the Nissan Titan's you can get the optional sub enclosure under the drivers seat, sure they are "OK" if you only need a small amount of bass. With the technology of making aftermarket subs slimmer and my creative mind its possible to get more "Boom" out of your trucks sound system. Still using the factory head unit with an aftermarket amplifier installed under the passenger side front seat, there is a good amount of room under the drivers seat to strategically build a custom enclosure. Here is my process; This fits so nice and still gives full functionality of the power seat.
