I've had the person for two months today and have had zero problems. Since I get wire and wireless capability in my house, We connected it to a new wired internet connection. It operates just as great as my Roku field and have had zero lag problems with Video on demand or any other motion picture site. There was quite a lot of movie site choices than the unit (different brand) I returned to the store because of lagging internet problems. I don't use it for 3D TV but the image on my HD 1080p TV is excellent for both Netflix and blueray DVD's. When My spouse and i set the unit way up,it was a breeze and upgraded the software package from Panisonic's site without the problems. I have nevertheless to read anything inside manual. I purchased this S480 BD player mainly make it possible for Netflix on my own aging plasma television, and located out it can make my TV brand spanking new again! I bought this BluRay Player because doing so would be a Sony, and may handle 3D disks to settle for my 3D TV. I haven't tried any 3D disks, yet, however the BluRay playing is magnificent!

I purchased the Sony blu-ray according to reviews using their company sites and according to positive knowledge about a Sony Bravo TV. The blu-ray player was extremely very easy to setup, and has a HDMI cable (most don't). Netflix, youtube along with other connection was quite simple without any issues. Total there was a time a maxmimum of 5 minutes.

I personally use this player to experience DVDs and Blu-Ray discs; I stream NetFlix and also have done one software upgrade online. I could fit everything in with little difficulty; basically can perform it you can now. I've had it for any few weeks coupled with no difficulties with it. The remote is sized well with decent buttons; there is nothing too large or not big enough. Time it requires to insert a disc to playing the disc is reasonable; I don't think I played a lot more than six blu-ray discs plus they play about as quickly as a DVD. All of the blu-ray Used to do play worked all right. It's enough inputs and outputs for my use.

Hooking up to my Netflix accounts was easier than expected.

I've had this player for a few weeks now and had no problems with freezes as many people reported.

The player includes a good little size.

I believed about placing it vertically but you can't do this because the disc would drop out.

Also design for the case makes it hard to stand on its side.

The drive is quiet, the remote is compact.

Updating the firmware is easy using the Ethernet cable connected.

Booting doesn't take too much time.

Many video streaming services are installed (hulu plus, vudu, netflix just to name a few - there are lots of more).

pandora is just one from the sound services.

Navigation appears like the ps3 in the event that lets you know anything.

My wife and We were looking for the second Blu-ray player besides our PS3, but several requirements was a slim player. This is considering that the space we needed to put it in was too narrow to fit any with the other Blu-ray gamers we had looked during. I hesitated to purchase this Blu-ray dvd player because there ended up being no reviews on the idea. The earlier model couldn't have good reviews well , i was worried this couldn't survive a good one both. However, I bought it because the price had been right so I offered it a chance. When I have only been with them a couple of days, I can already claim I am happy by it. I had no problems hooking it up towards internet and it failed to even have to accomplish an update or everything! The discs play magnificently and I got with Netflix right away. It's also very small and luxury so it is quite attractive.

The only bad thing I will declare about it is who's comes Wi-fi ready, but it doesn't have the wireless adaptor. Therefore i had to go if you buy one. It cost about $57. Unlike the former model review though, that one will work with the Netgear one...it doesn't always have to be a Toshiba one. I also wish to note that if informed older tv this Blu-ray player is not going to work for you. I purchased this breadmaker it for my home tv which I purchased in 2005. While those great tv is HD, it isn't HDMI and I has been unable to connect this particular disc player to this because it didn't offer an HDMI outlet. There is also no place to hook up the wires from you to the tv. The player is basically wireless with the exception of the HDMI cable. I'm sure I'm not technologically smart, so maybe someone more would automatically have acknowledged that when reading this product description. What I wound up doing was moving that old blu-ray player I had put together (about 2 years old) to my bedroom telly, and using the New laptop player with the living room tv (which is only some months old). Everything determined with the switch. Only thought someone who isn't really tech savvy like everyone might want to be familiar with that.

If there are generally any changes with the ball player given some time next , i will revisit this assessment. For now I will certainly say that I 'm really happy!

This region free blu ray player is VERY fast and responsive to requires. Nice.

I only applied HDMI audio and video. It sends ALL sorts of audio bitstreamed via Hiburan interface just fine, and I attempted uncommon types like six.1 TrueHD and 7.1 DTS-HD MA with no problem. The everyday 5.1 and six.1 HD formats are usually fine, as are almost all PCM. Likewise with DD 5.1 Ex boyfriend and DTS 6.a single-ES (both discrete along with matrixed) from DVDs. I purchased this Sony BDV-F370 for $249 on May 25, 2011 after hunting for a home theater in a box for nearly per month. It arrived the following day.

I have spent an extended amount of time researching this package to some of the best name manufacturers of similar products. (i.e. Whirlpool, Samsung, Panasonic). Not solely did I find this specific to be amongst the cheaper of the bundle, I discovered it to have a superb array of features. I just opened nowhere BDP-SX1000 I purchased from Sam's Club...bought this there for a little more because you cannot acquire warranties for electronics about Amazon (that I know-of). We used my Philips SHE5910 surround-sound headphones...fantastic sound with this portable BluRay player, which offers great video display. Now i'm next going to look at the quality of the HDMI output into my H . p . 23" monitor and I actually expect the same top quality. Just need to come across child-size surround-audio headphones for my time 4 & age 8 boys now.

First of all, I admit that I wanted the actual Sony VBD-MA1 for example reason and one cause only: to transfer my own home videos from my personal HD camcorder onto High-definition Blu-Ray disc. That said, it works perfectly for your use for me!

When i own a Canon Vixia HF R10 camcorder, which records in the particular AVCHD mode, and will save you onto SD cards. I was worried concerning the MA1's compatibility with my Canon, but after the very first time I tried it I ran across there was no dilemma at all. As regarding now it is hard to find too many details on-line about compatibility of a MA1, but after my own , personal sucess I wouln't be very impressed if you can build a BD-R from Any kind of camcorder that records about SD cards in this AVCHD mode. Purchased at Amazon plus wouldn't think of proceeding anywhere else.

We contain it mated to a Vizio TV.

Non-High-definition DVDs look as fine as some of the actual HD DVDs. Only trouble we had for concerning 2 days was which the player was turning off and on and making the DVD drawer come out on its own. Then it all proceeded to go away and worked excellent. We're in a restricted neighborhood so maybe another person's remote was activating the item. Other than that, the thing works perfectly. We did not used the widgets but they pop up pretty quickly when you remote these people. Hooks up in a new heartbeat and shows superbly. So far I have a high recommendation.

Solely thing it lacks is adjustable setting for toast!

I was a little apprehensive regarding buying this player because I had read some reviews that were vital of the setup and configuration because of this device. While that did turn out over be the weakest part of this package, I decided to take a possibility because I have always been incomplete to Sony products. I am sure glad I did. I was thus impressed with this player that I made a decision to write a review.

First it is very compact. You can check the specs for the dimensions. It fit beautifully in the spot I had for doing this with plenty of room to save. One nice design feature is the fact that vent holes are in the rear end so I was not concerned about setting my cable box on top of it.

The setup presented a several challenges but if you are reasonably tech savvy you won't have every problems. If you aren't, then purchase a friend to help you. The slot is much better than I ended up being led to believe. If you understand the PS3 it uses the very same award winning crossbar navigation. One assessment I read called it confusing yet I am very pleased with that. Basically this little device does practically everything a PS3 does except perform games. (BTW, I bought this for just a bedroom. I already have a Playstation 3 250gb. If I was buying my first blu-ray player I would recommend buying a PS3 instead.)

Actually I think this would certainly be a great device even if it did not have the blu-ray disc battler. It also supports a DLNA property network allowing you to stream information from a DLNA enabled comptuer. I was mostly interested in the wi-fi capabilities, could has an ethernet jack. (In inclusion to HDMI it has standard RCA type outputs as well to be a coaxial and optical digital output.)

The internet browser is rather weak and getting older support streaming video direct from websites (at least the ones that My spouse and i looked at), but that's not exactly why I bought it. The performance by using Netflix and the other video solutions I have tried is fantastic. (At first I thought you was required to go to the Netflix website throughout the browser, but when that didn't do the job I realized that's when you must jump through all the hoops permit the bonus features.)

(I know I might appear to be a Sony fan boy, and I have always been impressed with the engineering of some. But given the fact that as i write this the Playstation Network has been down 2.5 weeks, We have nothing nice to say about Sony when it comes to that issue! With PSN being currently down I was not able to try out Sony's Qriocity which this device naturally supports.)

after reading the evaluations i still decided to obtain this bluray player. I LOVE IT. as for unhealthy reviews, i dont feel some people have ever used the bluray technologies before.. I had the sony for 3 many years, the load time with this unit is MUCH speedier than my first technology sony.. Is it slowly? kind of, but it has the common with bluray avid gamers.

as for the people who said internet apps please don't work, i think they must check their connection.. this particular player does not have wifi, but if plugged into your home router, in case your internet is quickly enough, it seems to operate great! i use the idea nightly for netlflix.

Remember with bluray players, at any time it wont play a new disc UPDATE it.. When i cant stress that ample! old players, you would likely update daily it felt like.. this one i have never ran into a issue updates wont fix.

a small problem i had with this particular unit was the fasten like mentioned before.. but of spending hours to be off, buy some gook gone.. glue was off in under 5 a few minutes!!!!

overall i would advocate this if you are searhing for a budget player. it does not have all the amazing features of a more high-priced player (quick start, wireless, etc) but for the value it works and is significantly faster than first age group players. my longest delay with this unit was under 1 min.. this old sony took 16 mins sometimes to insert and YES thats common with old players

it crafted a great replacement for my old sony.. im sure there are nicer units to choose from but this one would it fow me

My $350 Samsung BD player past away and I was looking for a low cost alternative that can also play several apps like picasa, netflix, pandora and many others. In my search I found Vizio model 122. I liked the features and the price tag but next VBR133 has 3D capability and that's very enticing, although I dont have a very 3D tv yet.

Since Bluray has elevated the market for a while my targets from any player were high.

Requirements for a BDPlayer -
- Should load in addition to play blurays quick and fast
- Video and Audio quality should be very good
- Ought to play apps like Netflix, Amazon, Picasa, BLockbuster, Pandora and more
- Will need to have a HDMI connection
- Remote should be simple to use and work from a good range (distance, left and righ angles)
- Should have ability to connect to internet (ethernet or wireless)
- Must have a laptop usb port to plug in a flash drive
- Must play jpegs, audio and alternative video files

This player, from this outer looks, is simple and non-flattering. But once I powered that on it was only a a few seconds that it was ready.

Concerning an ethernet-to-wireless adapter. Plugged the ethernet cable behind the BDplayer and within seconds it linked to Internet.

Firmware upgrades were automatic (the idea asks if you want to apply them) and they completed within a few minutes. Very smooth operation.

The key menu for the player was a piece of cake to navigate and setting were simple and easy , self-explanatory.

I put in some sort of Bluray and the disk loaded quickly (compared to a Samsung player I had earlier which was supposedly among the quickest to load disks). I played unique blurays and all worked just excellent. Very happy with this.

What blew my mind was the quality of the image rendered. The video was easy, flawless, vibrant and more detailed this any other player I have witnessed or used so far. TV settings remaining the same, the quality regarding video from this player was as good as other bluray players I have connected.

Audio is smooth, in-sync while using the video and flawless.

Forward, reverse for blurays is quick, responsive and quite fluid.

I connected to Netflix also it pulled my instant list along with other suggestions, genres etc. Navigating it had been easy. Playback was smooth. Audio and Video were in sync. Forward and reverse worked smoothly. Again the online video media quality of Netflix was better than other players.

I played Friends DVD in it and was surprised to find out the improvement in video quality above regular DVD player or other bluray player. The DVD was upconverted. However I could still make out the gap in quality compared to BD, I was still very very happy with the particular up-conversion quality.

Have not subjected to testing the 3D capability yet.

The out of the way worked from 35 feet distance in addition to from a wide angles (left-proper). Design of remote is very simple and easy sleek. I like smaller buttons. Some individuals prefer larger buttons. They may unlike the remote. But then one can invariably setup a universal remote to upgrade this one.

In brief, I do not have anything but praise for this player. Time period will tell how long it lasts. I'll post my feedback after a couple of months.
