RevenueHits Review – Make $1,000 per month

Today I’d like to introduce you to one of my favorite ad networks. One I’ve been using (and many friends and readers) to earn $1,000 per month with several websites. This network is called RevenueHits and until last year I had no idea until they approached me to talk business.

RevenueHits Review

As mentioned above, a manager from the Publishers area approached to me via LinkedIn or Skype (can’t remember) and we talked how we could do some business by running and testing their ads against other, including the famous Google Adsense.
At first I was hesitant, I must say, but I like to give a try to different networks because you never now when you’re going to find a golden nugget and boost your earnings.
In fact, revenue hits has worked well for me and hundreds of my readers that it has earned the top spot in my Google Adsense alternatives list.
I know it works for me and I know it works for my readers cause they give me feedback and because their referral program gives you stats to give you an idea of how it’s working for others too.

RevenueHits is owned and operated by MyAdWise Ltd – a privately-held, Israeli-based, start-up company founded in 2008 by a team of experienced tech professionals, finance experts and successful online marketers.

Revenue Hits Dashboard – Campaign Setup

Once you’re inside you’ll find a very good looking dashboard with a nice user interface. That’s something I appreciate in every network because some alternatives look like they were designed back in 1990-2000.
Here you’ll find your stats including impressions, clicks, eCPM and Revenue from the last 8 days. I created a new empty account just to show you the whole process but this should show all of your data according to the websites you add in the future.

First, you need to add a website (URL and name) and then select a new placement to add. A placement is an ad designed to be someplace in your website. They have several type of ads including:

Banners
PopUnders (my favorites)
Slider
Shadow Box
Top Banner
158*21 Button
Footer
Interstitial (my second favorite)

PopUnders and Interstitials have worked great for me with several networks because the click rate can be really high and you don’t need to get clicks in your banners to earn money.
I’ve seen RevenueHits rates going from $0.5 CPM and up to $30 or more per CPM. If course this all depends on the country and type of traffic you’re receiving. The results won’t be the same if you’re getting Mac OS X traffic from Venezuela as they could be if you receive Android traffic from the UK for example.

Once you’ve selected the type of ads you want to use, you just need to fill up the basic information including a name, the website you’re going to put your ad and a description.

If you select a banner ad, you’ll find another dropdown menu (see below) with different sizes similar to what you’ll get with Google Adsense. I’ve never found banner ads to be really good with any pop traffic network, but make sure you give them a try before ditching them off completely.
My recommendation is to use popunders and interstitials first though.

Revenue Hits vs. Adsense

It’s difficult to compare Revenue Hits against Adsense because RevenueHits is a great network for pop unders and not banners like Adsense, but I’ve been able to generate a lot more money from RevenueHits and their CPA model compared to Adsense, especially in niches for the leads or conversions pay better than anything else.
I’ve seen eCPMs up to $50-100 with RevenueHits too. Especially if you’ve got mobile traffic then those interstitial Ads will have a great impact in your Revenue.

With this program, you can also find smaller companies, regional or specialized brands, and more. I run a combination of Google, Amazon, and Rakuten’s programs, and my monthly income is approximately $150 from these programs. It’s not a lot of money, but it’s also not a lot of work for residual (it means recurring…since the ads are permanent…) income.

6. Company Referral Programs

Speaking of the benefits of permanent ads, banners and links aren’t the only ways to earn a little bit of dough off your online endeavors. By having a website, you gain the power of emailing companies to ask them for things. I have no shame in letting the yoga company whose mat I’m looking into purchasing know that I have a blog and write for yoga publications – it sometimes gets me discounts.
Other times, I gain a valuable business contact in PR, advertising, or other aspects of corporate sales. Sometimes I just get a free drink. Either way, money in and of itself is worthless. Ditch the middle man and use the internet to barter what you have and can do for what you need.

If you have a social media account, try out Klout. The company tracks your social media usage, determines how big and what type of audience you draw based on the subject matter of your updates and posts. Plenty of people make decent side money on the site, which is basically an EBay for crafters and artists. Set up a sellers account with Etsy, and you’ll be asked to set up your virtual storefront and put up at least 5 goods for sale.
Once you have this down, you’ll be a budding Etsy entrepreneur. Provide great quality to your customers, and they’ll often return. Many people are willing to pay a premium for quality handmade designs. Etsy (like EBay and Amazon) takes a cut off the top for selling items through their site. PayPal takes another cut, and you have to be careful with taxes on all income, so be diligent while building your online business.

Craigslist is the modern equivalent of the classified ads that dominated the days of newspapers. These quick ads are easy to navigate and use, and they’re geographically linked. Where Indeed excels at finding job postings across the web and acting as a search crawler for employment, maybe a full-fledged career is too big of a commitment at this point in your life. Elance is a site to find freelance work of all types. I’ve used it for quick writing, editing, copywriting, resume building, and other odd jobs and temp gigs. The experience has been great.
Elance offers a wide array of technical, data entry, accounting, and other freelance and temp gigs. If you’re just looking for something short and sweet, log in, input and showcase your marketable skills, and begin searching through their job database, using any parameters you desire. Once you submit a bid, you’ll receive an acceptance or denial – you may get a few rejections, but don’t sweat it. Negotiate the terms of your bid, and get to work. You have money to make.

14. Mturk

If you’ve heard of crowdsourcing (and even if you haven’t), Amazon’s Mechanical Turk program is a great place to get involved. Much like at Elance, you input your info and skills. You then are able to search for different menial tasks ranging from identifying inappropriate web content to transcribing audio recordings to basic data entry work.
Just like at any other job, the more work you do, and the better your quality, the more opportunities you’ll have to make money. The payouts are often small, and your payment is received in Amazon credit, but Mturk is a great place to make mindless money while veg’ing on the couch watching TV.

Whether you like it or not, keeping your LinkedIn profile current is a great way to get surprised with new work opportunities out the blue.

If you’re an experienced nanny or babysitter, Care.com is the place you want to make money. By listing yourself on the Craigslist of Childcare, you’ll broaden your reach and increase your odds of finding the right gig at the right time. I support bootlegging – I don’t see it as being immoral or unethical in any way. Today’s scheme is easy to set up and easy to run. It’s another set and forget scheme for bloggers that will bring you in a daily income without you having to do, sell or promote anything. It’s the true definition of passive income – you can easily earn money with Infolinks doing nothing at all.

What is Infolinks?

If you have ever been to a website and seen some of the words in the text brightly double underlined, then those are Infolinks. When you hover over one of these links, a small box comes up offering for you to click to search on that keyword. Infolinks adds the links automatically, and it will be different per page view, and you are simply paid a rate for displaying the links in your text and extra if readers use the search.
I personally find those big bold double underlines a bit too ‘in your face’ but actually you can customise the look of your links and the density of your links to get the look you want so it is less intrusive.

What do Infolinks Look Like?

Take a look at my screen print here. I have mine set to maximum density which is 12 Infolinks per page, and I have a simple single dotted line under the links, with no change in text color. They can be quite discreet.

How can I control my Infolinks?

You have a number of easy to use options.

Density – you can chose how many Infolinks on a page – anywhere from 1 to 12
On or Off – you can chose on which pages or posts to display your Infolinks and when to display them. There is a simple on or off option for each post. For my top posts on my sewing blog, I leave Infolinks OFF for the first two weeks, and then add them later. For this site, I leave them on all the time, as my posts are intended to be informational rather than look nice!
Link color – many of us will have black text or dark grey and you can change the Infolinks text color to either match your site if you want them to be discreet, or make them in a bright color if you want them to be easily seen.
Underline style – chose from a single dotted line like mine, or go for the bold option with the double underline. It’s up to you.

What can I earn from Infolinks?

This will depend on several factors:

The number of times the links are viewed or displayed - so depends on your page views
The number of links per page
The current advertising rate for the keywords
If anyone uses the search

Here is my summary for the last week or so.

So my average is $1.66 per day. I could earn more, but I always chose not to have the Infolinks on my front page or my recent posts until they are 2 weeks old and most people will have seen them. It’s up to you how and where you decide to use Infolinks.
Assuming a 30 day month and an average of $1.66 per day, I would earn $50 a month. Not bad for something you set up once in a couple of minutes and then forget it. If you have greater traffic you can earn even more. Plus, as your site grows and has more content, then there are more pages to be seen, more active Infolinks and your earnings should steadily increase over time.

But, there are a lot of opportunities for a "real job." The secret is knowing how to separate the scams from what's legit.

Here's a hint: Legitimate jobs will typically never require you to pay a fee to get more information, and they don't come in unsolicited junk e-mail messages. Still, there's plenty of earning potential in working from home because, now, many of the top-earning home-based positions are with big traditional companies like Xerox, Dell and IBM.

1. Customer-service rep. Many companies, such as J. Crew, Express Jet, 1-800-flowers, and even the IRS, outsource customer-service operations to third-party companies who then hire home-based workers or "agents" to take calls and orders. When you call 1-800-flowers, you may be speaking with Rebecca Dooley, a retired police officer and employee of Alpine Access, a major call-center service. When you dialed the number, your call was automatically routed to Rebecca's spare bedroom in Colorado.

Alpine Access currently employs more than 7,500 work-at-home customer-service agents who take in-bound calls (there's no outbound or cold calling) for dozens of companies. "This works perfectly for me because I can set up my hours around my family's busy lifestyle," says Rebecca, who usually works 20 to 32 hours a week, depending on her schedule.

While the typical hourly rate is about $9, Alpine Access agents who work more than 20 hours a week are eligible for benefits plus a 401k program when they have worked for over 1,000 hours. Guides are freelancers with an ability to communicate well and good grammar and spelling skills.

They earn no less than $725 a month, but some make more than $100,000 a year depending on year-over-year, page-view growth.     Check with the Better Business Bureau in your area and the area in which the company is located.
    Ask questions, including: what specific tasks you'll have to perform; whether you will be paid by salary or commission; and who will pay you. Also, ask about the total cost to you, including supplies and equipment.
    Be wary of overstated claims of product effectiveness, exaggerated claims of potential earnings, and demands that you pay for something before instructions or products are provided.
    Be wary of personal testimonials that never actually identify the person so you can't investigate further.
    Contact your state Attorney General's consumer help line if you believe you've been victimized by a work-at-home scheme.

5. Now find a hot adult niche or newly released Brazzer video or anything interesting , in my case it was The Whore of Wolf Street from Brazzers which was released after the DiCaprio's one of best movie last year The Wolf Of Wall Street.
