Looking For A Nice and Clean Working Place

Yesterday, January 25, was officially my third month in the company that i am currently working with. So far, everything is okay and I'm doing great but i just can't deny the fact that it is quite stressing to deal with irate customers and non-stop calls everyday. It's more like a regular routine for me now aside from trying to catch things up with my daily blogging adjustments. There is no such thing as easy job as what they say or if there is, then you might not be so proud of it because you didn't even exert any effort or hard work for it. Anyway, i think i just have to bear with all of these and i'm sure something nice will happen in the near future. I just wish we have a nice and pleasing working place in the company. Working in a call center industry is too much different from other office jobs because we do not have a stable shift and a stable location as well. We were assigned on a certain cubicle during our shift but that would not be permanently for us because another agents will use our station when our shift ends. It's pretty fine with me actually but it is quite irritating to see all the mess they leave in my station when it is my turn to work. I used to clean my station before i leave and i wish they bring the courtesy back to me right?

Having a nice working place or environment plays a big role for making someone to be more effective and productive on his work. It is more like creating a nice aura to motivate you despite of your very stressing work. Well, i do not consider it YET as the worst or the most pathetic but it isn't that ideal space to work in . I wish i could take a video of my working area and upload it online and have it as my entry for the Pimp My Cube Contest that aims to improve someone's office. I'm Getting Old

Yikes! I'm just 23 but my body feels so old. My back, my knee and my feet start aching as if they are too tired and shaky. I'm not sure if it's because of my weight, my imbalanced diet or lack of exercise but i really get tired so easily. Does this mean that i am not getting any younger and what i am experiencing right now is some sort of arthritis? 0__0
Oh well, maybe i was just taking it exaggeratedly because i came across a certain article on a health magazine a few days ago talking about this certain kind of arthritis called "gout". Gout can cause an attack of sudden burning pain, stiffness, and swelling in a joint, usually a big toe and it my occurred repeatedly unless you undergo necessary gout treatment. Gout frequently occurs in combination with other medical problems that's why gout treatment is really necessary to prevent the condition from getting worst.
I grew up with my grandparents and i knew how hard it was to deal with arthritis. I think almost tried different kinds of ointment to ease the pain and because they're old, it would be risky for them to undergo any surgery or operation just to get rid of the pain permanently.
Prevention is better than cure as what they say and we have to keep that in mind. Be careful of what you eat and be cautious of what you do. Health should always be your top priority than anything else. Keep all your vises away if there's any because they will bring no good to your body and you might just regret it in the future. Have your condition be checked regularly by your family doctor to prevent anything worst.
Anyway, I am wishing everyone a healthy and prosperous year.

Since then, erosion by water and glaciers have sculpted the mountain range into dramatic valleys and peaks. At the end of the last ice age, humans started to inhabit the mountain range. Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a United States National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site that straddles the ridgeline of the Great Smoky Mountains, part of the Blue Ridge Mountains, which are a division of the larger Appalachian Mountain chain. It encompasses 814 square miles (2,110 km²), making it one of the largest protected areas in the eastern United States. The main park entrances are located along U.S. Highway 441 (Newfound Gap Road) at the towns of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and Cherokee, North Carolina. It was the first national park whose land and other costs were paid for in part with federal funds; previous parks were funded wholly with state money or private funds. Wikipedia has been one of the most powerful tools on the web. It is dubbed as the largest encyclopedia in the planet and has been a part of our everyday lives. This is the reason why bit came to me by surprise that the website is blocking their page (Wednesday) for 24 hours to oppose the SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Protect IP Act) as being proposed by the US congress. This Online protest was supported by other high profile sites including Reddit , Facebook and even Google. Of course, i am with Wikipedia and even though it is not applicable here in my country, i still oppose that bill because i know how huge the impact will be if ever they pass the bill.

Well, it seems that the protest done by Wikipedia threatens the Congress and as a result, most of the co-sponsors of the said bill withdrew their support. I think there are better ways to kill online piracy but not through the SOPA and PIPA bills.
The issue between the web giant, Wikipedia and the bills that they are trying to oppose might have a good closure in the congress, i am hoping that the issue between Walgreens and Express Scripts will have the same too.

Express Scripts acts as a middleman between pharmacies providing the health care service and employers and health plans who pay for the medications. It is said that the negotiations between the two companies went unsuccessful due to some conflicts which lead to Walgreens decision to terminate it's partnership with Express Scripts.

I'm sure you guys are not familiar with this list not unless you are also a big fan of "One Piece". Listed below are the top five most powerful Shichibukai or also known as Warlords. Shichibukai are the 7 powerful and well-known pirate captains who have allied themselves with the World Government. The Shichibukai seem to be a mixture of the more chaotic Yonko and the more orderly Marines. The majority of the Shichibukai are composed of New World veterans; those who have met the Yonko or even confronted them. As far as the current Anime and manga timeline is concern, sorry but i had to exclude Jinbe and Crocodile on my list since both of them decided to fight against the Government and lost their Shichibukai position.

"BOA HANCOCK"

Boa Hancock is the only female member of the Shichibukai. She is the Snake Princess (蛇姫 Hebihime^?) of Amazon Lily and rules over the Kuja tribe with her two younger Gorgon sisters, Boa Sandersonia and Boa Marigold. She is considered by many to be the most beautiful woman in the world. While she currently remains employed within the Shichibukai, her love for Monkey D. Luffy has caused her to turn against the World Government on a number of occasions. Hancock is a very complex woman. At first glance, she appears to be selfish, pompous and spoiled, used to having her own way. She can also act arrogant and cruel, usually justifying her less-than-admirable actions with her apparently unmatched beauty, causing her to think that she can get away with anything because the world will forgive her. Hancock is widely considered to be extremely powerful by friend and foe alike. Ruling beside her sisters, Hancock has power over Amazon Lily and the rest of the Kuja women. As the Empress and Captain of the tribe, she is most likely the strongest Kuja warrior. Her strength is so great that it has even been acknowledged by Fleet Admiral Sengoku of the Marines. Those who fall in love with Hancock by seduction are susceptible to a range of techniques used by the Devil Fruit which turn people into stone.

"BARTHOLEMEW KUMA"
Bartholomew Kuma is a Shichibukai and former revolutionary with a bounty of 296,000,000. He was once feared as an extremely vicious pirate, earning himself the title "Tyrant". He is a type of cyborg called "Pacifista" developed by Dr. Vegapunk. Once Vegapunk finished his modifications on Kuma, the Shichibukai was converted into the first complete Pacifista cyborg with the serial PX-0, and figuratively died in the process. Kuma is an enormous man, nearing 7 meters tall, he is the tallest remaining Shichibukai (being one inch shorter than former member Moriah) and is usually seen carrying a Bible. His overall appearance resembles that of a bear, though there are a few key differences. Despite his imposing figure and his past reputation, Bartholomew Kuma is a very calm and quiet person. In addition to his demeanor, he can also be seen as somewhat of a benevolent character, especially compared to the other Shichibukai. Kuma is one of the few people to have completely defeated the entire Straw Hat Pirates, and is also the only character introduced so far that has defeated the crew single-handedly, twice.

"DRACULE MIHAWK"
Dracule "Hawk-Eyes" Mihawk is a member of the Shichibukai and the current holder of the title, "Greatest Swordsman in the World". Mihawk serves as Roronoa Zoro's swordsmanship teacher during the two-year timeskip. Mihawk is a tall and lean man with a short beard and sideburns that point upwards. His nickname comes from his strangely colored yellow eyes, which resemble a hawk's eyes. Dracule Mihawk is possibly one of the most serious characters in One Piece; very little seems to surprise him, he rarely smiles, and he has only been seen laughing once in the series so far.True to his epithet, "Hawk Eyes," Dracule Mihawk has exceptional eyesight, able to easily track Luffy's high speed Gear Second movements, and strike with extreme precision, releasing a long-range slash at him while there was a chaotic battlefront of New World pirates and Marine officers between them.Mihawk's strength is so great that Don Krieg accuses him of having the power of a Devil Fruit; however, in the Databooks, his abilities appear to be simply brute power and skill.

"MARSHALL D. TEACH"
Marshall D. Teach commonly referred to as Blackbeard , is the captain of the Blackbeard Pirates and one of the Yonko who rule over the second half of the grand line, the New World. He also briefly held the position of Shichibukai after handing Ace over to the Marines, but has since forfeited the title after gaining new crew mates from Impel Down before taking over his former captain's territory and becoming one of the Yonko. He is one of the main antagonists of the series. Blackbeard has become the first and so far only user to wield the powers of two Devil Fruits at the same time. Through unknown means he acquired the extremely destructive powers of the Gura Gura no Mi from the dead body of Whitebeard and is now able to create earthquakes like his old captain.With the power of darkness (Yami Yami no Mi), which "reduces anything to nothingness", and the power of quakes (Gura Gura no Mi), which "brings destruction to all", Blackbeard claims himself to be truly invincible and the strongest of them all.

"DONQUIXOTE DOFLAMINGO"
Donquixote Doflamingo is one of the Shichibukai. His former bounty is 340,000,000. Doflamingo is a large, blond-haired man who generally dresses in flamboyant clothes. In reference to his animal theme, the flamingo, his clothes are brightly colored with his feathered coat being distinctively pink. He also has an odd way of walking, a bow-legged waddle (but he does not always walk like this), which is also a reference to his animal theme, a flamingo. Doflamingo is one of the most carefree characters in the series. He seems to have a penchant for dramatic phrasing, as well as a habit of exaggerated posing when giving declarations. He also appears to fear nothing and no one, as he openly taunts Fleet Admiral Sengoku, sits on the table during the Shichibukai meeting and shows only gleeful interest at the thought of warring with Whitebeard. He is the only Shichibukai known to fight one of his fellow comrades (Gekko Moriah) and actually seriously hurt him (though he was aided by a small group of Pacifistas and Moriah had already taken some damage from the war). Doflamingo possesses an as-of-yet unnamed ability to control people's bodies like puppets. He can make his victims move as he wants by moving his fingers accordingly. Doflamingo mainly uses this power to force comrades to fight (and kill) each other, while Doflamingo himself sits at the sidelines and watches. It is currently unknown what the limitations of his abilities are. He has shown himself capable of controlling more than one person at the same time, without apparent effort.

Happy Friday the 13th guys. This will be my second post for this month and for this year (exactly one week after my first post ....sigh). I'm happy right now that our government is paying more attention to our tourism. They even launch a brand new campaign and a slogan saying that "IT IS MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES". Of course, as a Filipino myself, i should say that it is indeed more fun in the Philippines. Our country can provide more than what any tourist can wish for. To support this campaign, i made my own list of reasons why it is more fun here in the Philippines! Hope you like it guys!

"FILIPINO CULTURE AND TRADITION"
Filipinos are very religious and we pay big respect with our culture and tradition and most of them are still being applied until today. Did you know that we celebrate Christmas season as early as September. People will start decorating their houses with colorful lights and Parol (star lanterns), you will hear the children carol from one house to another as early as November and the markets will be flooded with different Christmas decors. Filipino used to celebrate it luxuriously in a way that they will fill their tables with different kind of dishes that are traditionally served during Christmas. Since Philippines is an archipelago, we do have different religions and the majority is Roman Catholic, followed by Christians and Islam. The second picture above is the recently held feast of the Black Nazarene. Each year, the procession of the Black Nazarene makes its way along the streets of the Quiapo district, with attendees reaching up to 6 to 8 million devotees. It had the longest celebration last January 9 as it took more or less 22 hours.

If you're a tourist, then you can't just leave the country without trying any of their special dishes. Philippines has it's own offerings too. We have our very own "Adobo" which involves meat or seafood marinated in a sauce of vinegar and garlic, browned in oil, and simmered in the marinade. We add sugar to make it sweeter. We also have the "Kare-kare"It is made from peanut sauce with a variety of vegetables, stewed oxtail, beef, and occasionally offal or tripe. It is often eaten with bagoong (shrimp paste), sometimes spiced with chili, and sprinkled with calamansi juice. We also have the "Sinigang" which is a stew or soup characterized by it's sour flavor because of the tamarind. We also have the "Balut" , the"Penoy", "Isaw" and other street foods. As for the Dessert, we have the "Halo-halo"

The Ati-Atihan Festival is being held annually in January in honor of the Santo Niño (Infant Jesus), concluding on the third Sunday, in the island and town of Kalibo, Aklan in the Philippines. The festival consists of tribal dance, music, accompanied by indigenous costumes and weapons, and parade along the street. Christians, and non-Christians observe this day with religious processions. The Sinulog and Dinagyang festivals are being celebrated the same way.
Panagbenga Festival is a month-long annual flower festival occurring in Baguio, the summer capital of the Philippines. The festival includes floats that are decorated with flowers The festival also includes street dancing, presented by dancers clad in flower-inspired costumes, that is inspired by the Bendian, an Ibaloi dance of celebration that came from the Cordillera region.

When it comes to Festivals, there are just too many to mentions here but these celebrations have been a part of our own culture to give thanks to the patrons. Each event symbolizes a certain history or that town or city.

We have lot's of things to offer here including. We have the 3rd (SM City North EDSA) , the 8th (SM Mall of Asia) , the 12th (SM Megamall) ,the 17th (SM City Cebu) and the 22nd (Greenbelt) largest malls in the world. Your day may not be enough to explore them all hehe.
As an archipelago, we are surrounded by different water bodies and marine ecosystem. The biodiversity here is simply incomparable and almost a huge percentage of marine species were discovered here in the Philippines. We also have famous beaches including the Boracay that is well known for it's white sand and clear blue water and is also considered as the mother of Philippine Tourism.
We have lots of famous landmarks here including the Chocolate Hills in Bohol, the almost perfect Mayon Volcano in Albay, and of course the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park which is provisionally chosen as one of the new seven wonders of the world!

"FILIPINOS, THEIR ATTITUDE AND HOSPITALITY"
Can you smile despite of the problems you encounter everyday? YES we can! The Filipinos are considered a simple and happy people. This is evidenced by the fact that many Filipinos love to celebrate for any reason even with meager resources. The cheerful disposition of Filipinos may sometimes surprise and strike the foreigner as a lack of seriousness but upon knowing more about the customs in the Philippines, one would understand that cheerfulness is a part the country's culture. Philippines is the 14th place of the happiest people in the planet according to a survey. Nowhere in the world can you find a group of people where the hospitality is as much as the Filipinos. It is here in the Philippines where everybody, regardless of color, race, origin, or any differences for that matter, people are treated equally and hospitably. Filipinos are famous for being welcoming and warm to all of their visitors, expected or not. The home of Filipninos are always open to visitors.
So go ahead guys and visit our Country because it is MORE FUN HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES!

Hi guys, this is my first Top Five Entry for this year. I'm sorry but this is some sort of a bias list of my most hated Tv personalities haha. I love watching TV especially those reality programs and music or singing competition but we can't deny the fact that in every show, there should always be a villain, an antagonist or someone who is simply irritating.

"KIM KARDISHIAN"
Okay I know she's hot and she made a sex video with singer Ray J haha but seeing her on the headline almost everyday as if she want us to know everything that is going on with her life is just too tiring for me. Well, she is a celebrity and we can't deny the fact that even when she simply changes her hairstyle or if she picked up a wrong clothes, it will still hit the news BIG time. Sigh

TOP 4 MOST HATED TV PERSONALITY
"ROSIE O'DONNELL"
Well first, she reminds me of Annie Wilkes (Katie Bates) of the film , Misery hehe. Anyway, Rosie was actually one of the most loved tv personality during her award winning "The Rosie O' Donnell Show" in the mid 90's but after her opinions and views became more liberal and after her show (The Views) gained so much controversies as she opens up some sensitive topics about politics, she became one of the most hated tv personality around.

"GORDON RAMSAY"
Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen's Nightmare, these titles really suits him well hahaha. I love the show actually and i love how he manage to change a kitchen from a scratch to an elegant looking restaurant, however, this temper-prone reality star has called his chefs every name in the book, including "dumb blonde" and "f-ing donkey."I know his one of the greatest living chef in the world but it doesn't mean he has the right to badmouth or to discriminate small time chefs right?

"SIMON COWELL"
Do i need to explain more about this guy and why he deserves to be here in this list? haha Actually, as a fan of Idol and X-factor, i am really nothing against him because after all, these reality competitions will be very boring without him, however, there are some moments when Simon is taking himself out of the box and provide unreasonable judgement to the contestants.

"CHARLIE SHEEN"
I should praise him for being a great and successful comedian but his personality especially when he is greatly influenced by alcohol and drugs, is not as appealing as his comedy acts. No wonder why he was fired from his very own show. This pervert guy who dated a number of adult film actresses has been married three times and is concurrently living with two ladies. (what the heck???)

Heya! This is my first post for this year and I am going to make sure that I will update this blog as often as I can starting this year! Whoah! It's 2012 now and I just can't imagine that this will be my 5th year in blogging. I've been through some ups and downs but i never came to a point that I wanted to quit or give up my blogs. Ran for almost 2 months! Probably one of the highlights of my blog is my yearly game. Blog Idol started last 2008 as a fun meme game. We do not have prizes on the first two seasons except for EC Cards and Web Award plaque. Last year, we held the first ever season that offers real prizes amounting to 150$ over all.Now it went up to $180 over all including the tokens and other prizes. Not to mention our Web Hosting service provided by our Sponsor.

Tadah! Another Top Five for you guys! I am such a big fan of any Singing competition. I just love music so much despite of the fact that i can't sing. "THE PRETENDER BY JOSH KRAJCIK"
On his group, i am actually not a big fan of this guy because i am paying too much attention to my bet which is Stacey Francis but i started to notice him after he performed an amazing rendition of Foo Fighters' "The Pretender". Though I am not really into his genre, he made me , somehow, appreciate the world of rock music. Right now, his one of the Top 3 finalists along side with Chris Rene and Melanie.

TOP 4 X FACTOR'S BEST PERFORMANCE
"SOMEONE LIKE YOU BY MELANIE AMARO"
I know, on the very first place, that Melanie will go this far. She's one of my bet actually along with Drew and Chris. Anyway, the original Adele version is still the best for me but Melanie sang it with a different approach. It was more uptempo and a club-like music but the high note at the very end is simply amazing.

"IF I WERE A BOY BY RACHEL CROW"
Rachel Crow is indeed a crowd pleaser not just because of her age but also because of her powerful vocals despite of her very young age. If I were The Boy performance was, by far, my most favorite from her which actually surprised the judges as she performed it very smoothly and she sounded more mature here too.

"IT MUST HAVE BEEN LOVE BY DREW RYNIEWICZ"
I don't mean to be so bias on this list but YES i am hahaha. Drew is actually my first bet and it is very disappointing that she got kicked off so early. Her "Baby" version is actually a great rendition but my most favorite from her would be her Boot camp piece which is "It Must have Been Love" (I even downloaded it online hahaha). I just love how soothing her voice is and i never get tired listening to it.

X FACTOR'S BEST PERFORMANCE
"YOUNG HOMIE BY CHRIS RENE"
This guy really has the X factor when it comes to originality. He was able to write his own piece and deliver amazingly. Young Homie is actually his audition piece which became really popular. Regardless of his story, I don't think he needs more sympathy to win this game because he is really talented and I have a feeling that he will win this competition. Aside from Young Homie, he also sang "Where do you go From here" , another original song .

Despite of my inactiveness these past few months I can't really say that I never had a blasting 2011. Actually the fact that I am still here, writing a blog post, spending my time with my family, waking up everyday with no illness are just few of the great reasons why i should be very grateful of 2011. Oh and not to mention my new job. Anyway, 2011 was such such a huge blast indeed not just for me but for everyone else in the world especially when these biggest headlines occurred.
Some headlines were just very influential and remarkable while others are pretty bad to remember yet left a mark in the history.
Who would forget the twin bombing and the mass shooting in Norway which killed more or less 80 people? How about the confirmed death of Osama Bin Laden or the final lift off of the space shuttle Atlantis? How did you react when Oprah bids goodbye on her long time talk show These are just few of the remarkable ones who have made a huge impact in the history.
Now listed below are five of the biggest headlines that left a huge mark in 2011.

In January 2011, production of Two and a Half Men went on hiatus while Sheen underwent a substance rehabilitation program in his home, his third attempt at rehab in twelve months. The following month, however, CBS canceled the season's four remaining episodes after Sheen publicly made derogatory comments about the series' creator, Chuck Lorre, and Warner Bros. officially banned Sheen from entering its production lot. Sheen, already the highest-paid actor on television, responded by publicly demanding a 50 percent raise, claiming that in comparison to the amount that the series was making, he was "underpaid."CBS and Warner Bros. fired Sheen from Two and a Half Men on March 7, 2011. He was replaced by Ashton Kutcher. In the aftermath of his dismissal, Sheen remained vocally critical of Chuck Lorre, and filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against Lorre and Warner Bros., which was settled the following September 26.

The wedding of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine Middleton took place on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London. The build-up to the wedding and the occasion itself attracted much media attention, with the service being broadcast live around the world, and being compared and contrasted in many ways with the 1981 marriage of William's parents, Charles, Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer. Much of the attention focused on Kate Middleton's status as a commoner marrying into royalty.Over 5000 street parties were held to mark the Royal wedding throughout the United Kingdom and one million people lined the route between Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. In the United Kingdom TV audiences peaked at 26.3 million viewers with a total of 36.7 million watching part of the coverage. The ceremony was viewed live by tens of millions more around the world including 72 million on the YouTube Royal Channel.

"STEVE JOBS DEATH"

Jobs died at his California home around 3 p.m. on October 5, 2011, due to complications from relapse of his previously treated islet-cell neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer, resulting in respiratory arrest. He had lost consciousness the day before, and died with his wife, children and sister at his side. Jobs announced his resignation as Apple's CEO on August 24, 2011. "Unfortunately, that day has come," wrote Jobs, for he could "no longer meet [his] duties and expectations as Apple's CEO". Jobs became chairman of the board and named Tim Cook his successor. Jobs had worked for Apple until the day before his death. For two weeks following his death, Apple's corporate Web site displayed a simple page, showing Jobs's name and lifespan next to his grayscale portrait. Shortly after his death was announced, ABC, CBS, and NBC interrupted scheduled programming to broadcast this news. Numerous newspapers around the world carried news of his death on their front pages the next day. Several notable people, including US President Barack Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, and The Walt Disney Company's Bob Iger commented on the death of Jobs. oth Apple and Microsoft flew their flags at half-staff throughout their respective headquarters and campuses. "MUAMMAR GADDAFI'S DEATH"
On 20 October 2011, a National Transitional Council (NTC) official told Al Jazeera that Gaddafi had been captured that day by Libyan forces near his hometown of Sirte. He had been in a convoy of vehicles that was targeted by a U.S Predator Missile which was followed by a French air strike on a road about 3 kilometres (2 mi) west of Sirte, killing dozens of loyalist fighters. Gaddafi survived but was shortly afterwards captured by a rebel militia who claimed he had taken refuge with several of his bodyguards in a drain underneath the road west of the city. Around noon NTC fighters found the group and took Gaddafi prisoner. Shortly afterward, he was shot dead. At least four mobile phone videos showed rebels beating Gaddafi and manhandling him on the back of a utility vehicle before his death. One video pictured Gaddafi "sodomized with some kind of stick or knife" or possibly a bayonet, after his capture. A rebel who identified himself as Senad el-Sadik el-Ureybi later claimed to have shot and killed Gaddafi. He claimed to have shot Gaddafi in the head and chest, and that it took half an hour for him to die. On 25 October 2011, the National Transitional Council announced that Gaddafi was buried at an unidentified location in the desert.

"TSUNAMI IN JAPAN"
The 2011 Tohoku Earthquake was a magnitude 9.0 (M_w) undersea megathrust earthquake off the coast of Japan. It was the most powerful known earthquake ever to have hit Japan, and one of the five most powerful earthquakes in the world overall since modern record-keeping began in 1900. The earthquake triggered powerful tsunami waves, which reached heights of up to 40.5 metres (133 ft) in Miyako in Tōhoku's Iwate Prefecture. The Japanese National Police Agency confirmed 15,840 deaths, 5,950 injured, and 3,642 people missing across eighteen prefectures, as well as over 125,000 buildings damaged or destroyed. The earthquake and tsunami caused extensive and severe structural damage in Japan, including heavy damage to roads and railways as well as fires in many areas, and a dam collapse. Around 4.4 million households in northeastern Japan were left without electricity and 1.5 million without water. Many electrical generators were taken down, and at least three nuclear reactors suffered explosions due to hydrogen gas that had built up within their outer containment buildings after cooling system failure. Residents within a 20 km (12 mi) radius of the Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant and a 10 km (6.2 mi) radius of the Fukushima II Nuclear Power Plant were evacuated. The aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami included both a humanitarian crisis and a major economic impact. The tsunami resulted in over 300,000 displaced people in the Tōhoku region, and shortages of food, water, shelter, medicine and fuel for survivors. In response the Japanese government mobilized the Self-Defence Forces, while many countries sent search and rescue teams to help search for survivors.

This is so great, I failed to update my blog for almost 3 weeks and it is so disappointing that i can hardly find time to blog and to visit you guys (I miss spamming your blogs too ^_^). I'm really sorry guys but I am assuring you that I'll be back (actively) this December. It just so happen that my computer at home is not working. My PC got corrupted and I had to replace my CPU. Everything is doing well with my job and the schedule is not that stressing anymore. I am also planning to buy a mobile with that is capable of mobile blogging so that I can check your blogs from every vacant time that I have. As of this moment, please bear with me guys, i am currently adjusting with my new situation. It is really depressing not to visit your blogs and not to update mine. Just give one more week and I'll be back to my regular blog hopping routine. Thank you so much for your consideration . Miss yah all!

Going Gaga over Gargling

This is a new phase in my life indeed! Being in a new industry is quite tough because I had to make necessary adjustments just to cope with all my obligations and other responsibilities. I'm quite disappointed actually because I rarely update some of my blogs lately and I also messed up my regular blog hopping routine. We are currently on the training process so I really have to focus more on that first and absorb everything from our trainers. It's quite tough but I know I can manage it and get used to it soon.
I became a home based freelance writer for more than year and switching to a new field of work is quite difficult but I know I have no choice but to bear all these pressure and stress.
And speaking of Stress, let me share you some of my experiences during my job hunt, my interview and my first day at work.
Well, I saw this job opening online and since I was aiming to get a new job, I grabbed that opportunity so I sent my resume directly to that company. And knowing that I do not have a Degree yet, I was not hoping to be invited for an interview. It was just a try out and in my surprise, a day after my submission, I received a call from their HR stating that they are inviting my for the Initial interview and exams for tomorrow. I didn't waste any of my time so I grabbed it.
Right after that call, I immediately hit the barber shop to get a new and clean haircut haha. Proper grooming plays a very important role if ever you are applying for a job. It can be a way of creating a good impression to the interviewer.
I was able to pass all the exams and the Interviews as well and I was invited to take a Medical examination as a part of their company requirements. It was a horrible medical exam experience actually because I was not aware that RECTAL exam is a part of it hahaha.
If there's one part of the medical exam that I am really worrying about, that would be my Dental record. I do have weak gums to be honest and it bleeds easily. This is the reason why I do not brush my teeth so hard because if I do, my gums will bleed so fast. And of course, if I'm not brushing it hard, chances are, i will be leaving some germs or dirt in my teeth which might cause bad breath or tooth decay. That's why after brushing, I make use of mouth wash to clean my mouth thoroughly.

I used to have one at home and I also keep one inside my bag in case an EMERGENCY situation arrives hehe. Bad Breath is a mark down for men and is a big turn off for girls so make sure you always smell fresh all day long. There are many ways to keep your breath fresh or somehow make it smell good. You can try Mouth perfumes but they are quite expensive however the effect will not last that long and there's a tendency that you'll keep on spraying that perfume over and over again in just a short period of time.
Looking for inexpensive way? Then I guess mint candies will do!
Even though I always keep one in my bag, I don't use it much often. First, it's sweet so you'll get thirsty easily. Keep in mind that SWEETS are the number one reason behind those Teeth or dental related problems. And also the refreshing sensation it provides doesn't last that long.
Mouth wash is indeed the best solution. There are pocket sized mouth wash you can bring wherever you will go just like that 50ml new Colgate Flax above.
But of course, mouth wash may vary depending on its brand. Some do not last that long and chances are, you'll be using the mouth wash again and again in a short time interval and that's pretty awkward right because you have to find a place for you to gargle. After 2 consecutive months , here comes the final day where in we are about to hail the 4th Blog Idol Winner.

But before that, let's just have a short recap of our previous Blog Idol seasons. Who are the the previous 3 winners? Blog Idol started last 2008 as a fun meme game. Here goes the much awaited event for Blog Idol History, the Finale where in we are about to crown the FOURTH BLOG IDOL WINNER.
Blog Idol Started last 2008 as a fun meme game. We do not have prizes on the first two seasons except for EC Cards and Web Award plaque. Last year, we held the first ever season that offers real prizes amounting to 150$ over all. As you all know, Blog Idol has nothing to deal with those link building stuffs and is not requiring anyone to follow or subscribe to my website, however, they just have to place the Sponsor's Badge to thank our sponsors for making this contest possible but they can also remove it right after the competition. Generally, the game is just for fun and it has been a yearly tradition in my blog.

☒ Not been so active lately because I am currently applying for a job. I just went to attend a job interview yesterday and I think I did great! They told me to expect to receive a call from them next week so I'm looking forward to that. This is going to be a new phase in my life if ever, after being a full time web writer for a year. I'm excited and sad at the same time because i know it will kill most of my blogging time and I will not be as active as what i used to be this past few months because I have to adjust myself first.

☒ Because I am quite busy lately, Milzon and I failed to feature any new crafts in our Art Blog. We're supposed to make some Halloween related art projects this month but we haven't done anything until now. Though I have some crafts to share soon including my paper mache creation and some origamis I learned online. Hopefully I can share them next week.

☒ So far, the only reason why this blog is quite updated is because of my ongoing Blog Idol contest. October is the most unproductive month for my Top Five. I only got one Top Five list as of this moment. My blog Hopping routine is totally screwed up and hopefully i can catch things up again. So sorry guys!

☑ I'm going to change my layout soon.... I'm going to purchase another Header from a very creative blogger who will also be faetured in our IBOTM portion this month. If you're an avid fan of MMORPG, I'm sure you're gonna love her.

☑ I was able to send the first set of Blog idol prizes last Thursday. Those are the Smurf Keychains and PvZ plush toys. I don't have the mugs yet because I have to know the last Url from whoever will get the Top 4 Spot.

☑ Speaking of Blog Idol, Tonight is the last day of voting for our Round 6. TOP 3 will be revealed on Sunday. That would be the start of SEMI FINAL round. Voters should only have to pick a song. Untitled Jersey City Project Update!!!

Last week, I posted about this upcoming Action-drama series, "Untitled Jersey City Project" (check it here) and in case you missed it, lemme share a brief introduction about this highly anticipated series.

The story is set amidst the fast-developing Jersey City waterfront, just across the river from Manhattan. A shining new city is being built on the edge of this gritty town. But while the glass office towers and condos are sleek and new, the rules of the game haven't changed one bit.

Everyone here has something to gain - money, fame, power. Or they can lose big. Or they could end up dead.

The Story revolves around the architect, Frank George and his partner Ray Rahne who both worked hard to get their small, progressive architecture office in New York City to the next level. And then they had this big project in which they are about to design a new stadium complex across the Hudson in rough and tumble Jersey City.

Their client is notorious developer Larry Tyerman. Tyerman is a bare-knuckle negotiator lurking inside a bespoke suit, with connections to everyone - and anyone - with the power to push his projects through. Union bosses, politicians, even the local cops - everybody owes him a favor. And nobody wants to be the guy standing in his way, not with this much money on the line. Rumor has it that the stadium project is truly make or break for Tyerman. Desperation hasn't made him a more patient man.

Untitled Jersey City Project is a unique experiment in the development of an entertainment concept: it’s a work-in-progress television drama. The eight short-form episodes of Untitled Jersey City Project are fragments from a larger story, with many of the story threads left unresolved.

Things are getting so intense and I have watched 3 episodes already. The story is getting more intense indeed and it starts to confuse me in a way that it challenges me to explore and to dig more about it.

Episode 1 : Frank received a cryptic call from Ray , before Ray's fatal plunge from the 39th floor of the construction site. Everything remains a mystery and Frank has to solve the story behind his partner's mysterious death.

Episode 2 : The episode flashes back here and introduces two new characters, Larry Tyerman which is obviously the main antagonist in the series and Jane Kaplan, who works as a writer/ reporter at The Ledger.

Episode 3 : Frank and Ray attend an awards dinner for real estate mogul Larry Tyerman. After a few too many drinks, Ray risks more than just the job when he decides now is the perfect time address Tyerman’s questionable ethics. Things are quite getting clearer to me and it really excites me.

Untitled Jersey City Project is a production of Studio Progress Films in association with FX and is not the official title of the series. It is literally an untitled drama and is in need of a title. Interestingly, I went over their official web page and they are asking for some Title Proposals from their followers. Will buzz more about this drama and its progress soon.
