Its been announced today that Diablo 3 players will be able to use Paypal to buy and sell items in D3's auction house.This means making money playing Diablo 3 will be an integrated aspect of the game!When I think about it,this is an excellent marketing decision.I mean, who wouldn't want to make money while playing a game from the top gaming company in the world?It almost feels like I 'm forced to give D3 a go when it comes out being that I spend so much time playing video games.

Diablo 3 is definitely a game to keep an eye on.Making money with this game will be much easier than any other game.Blizzard has announced that its on its final stages but a release date hasn't been set.Look for this game to come out in the first months of 2012 or so.

People might not believe that you can make money online playing popular mmo's like wow but its completely possible and easier than you may think.I played wow off and on for many years before I realized that I could sell my games digital information for a decent amount. In auctioning off my first account I made $350. I later bought another account for $150 then turned around and sold it for $500. The account which I bought for $150 only had a lvl 70 warrior.I managed to level and gear him up with top end pve gear which allowed me to sell the account at the modest price of $500.Other accounts with items roughly equal to mine sold for alot more. Surprisingly theres a decent market for this,alot of people still play wow.

First off let me be clear that its against any MMO's game rules to sell your account information.So if for some reason you get caught trying to sell your account, it will be banned.That's pretty much the worst that's going to happen, there are no legal ramifications.There are safe ways to sell gaming accounts, if your cautious chances of being caught are pretty low.Most of the people I played with over the years that quit all ended up selling their accounts one way or another.

So the month of November has been a pretty good month for my Commission Junction earnings.In case you haven't heard, CJ.com is an affiliate network similar to ClickBank.A few advantages CJ has over ClickBank is that it has numerous affiliates that pay you per lead instead of strictly per sale.Another convenient advantage CJ has over ClickBank is a lower payment threshold and the option to deposit payments directly into your bank account.

Overall, if your able to produce high conversions with your affiliate clicks then your probably going to make more money advertising ClickBank products.Mainly because ClickBank deals with popular digital products that have reoccurring subscriptions.Meaning that each sale you make with ClickBank has the potential to pay you every month.

Jobboy.com Is a Scam Stay Away

Jobboy.com is an obvious rip off site and one you should stay clear of.Recently,while surfing bloggosphere I noticed several money making blogs that recommend Jobboy.com.I spent a grand total of 2 seconds on the site before deeming it a scam.

Jobboy.com is a blatant ripoff site.They completely copied Microworkers.com so much so in fact that its hard to tell the diffrence between the two.As you can see below the 2 are identical

Here are links to both websites Whois info.If you select the registration tab you will see when each site was created Microworkers in 2007 and Jobboy in 2009.In the thumbnails of Jobboy.com you can clearly see that the domain name was purchased and later transformed into a Microworkers replica.If you click Microworkers thumbnail you will see how the sites look has been unchanged since 2007.

In my Opinion Youtube and future video sharing websites are poised to replace television in terms of how we as a society get our information and entertainment.Youtube's marketing potential is astronomical. 260 Dollar Squidoo Payment While On Vacation!

I mentioned in my last post that I had some catching up to do.I was away from the internet and work for about 2 months only being able to use the internet every once in a while to check up on messages and such.It turns out that the few months I was M.I.A happened to be pretty good months.

One of the biggest Payouts I received was a $260 dollar payment from Squidoo.com.Total I have 23 pages live, a few of those pages rank pretty high with search engines and get decent traffic.Whats awesome about sites like Squidoo is the earning potential.Its basically a webpage you provide content for that's SEO optimized.There is no minimum to the ammount of content you put into your pages therefor you can pump out as many pages as your heart desires.Each one of my pages has about as much content as a post on this blog, never much more, sometimes less.I started regularly posting pages sometime in May of this year and made this $260 dollar payout in August.

Squidoo makes money by taking a cut of the royalties you make on your page.You may be thinking its best to just create your own blog optimize it and keep all your ad royalties yourself.In essence this is true but the time it would take to create a blog about anything you have information on, optimize it and update it is incomprehensible.Instead what I do anytime I want to write about a subject that's not related to one of my blogs I make a Squidoo page.I never spend more than 10 minutes making a page.I only have 23 pages but I know a few bloggers that use squidoo the same way I do (fast and to the point) that have hundreds of pages and make fat payouts such as this regularly.

How Many Visitors You Need To Make Money With Adsense

Lately this blog has been making what in my opinion are rather mundane Adsense earnings.In all honesty I came to realize after reaching my first payment threshold, that perhaps Adsense wasn't the optimal choice.I knew of other alternatives and even dedicated a page which I update whenever I run across a new alternative.In comparison to Adsense they all seem similar and fall way short in popularity.Basically the more popular these monetizing sites are the more advertisers pay which translates to more revenue for publishers.

So after 8 months of having Adsense adds running on 2 blogs I finally reached the $100 payment threshold.Since then I increased my established blogs page views substantially,did seo on each of my blogs to ensure all posts are indexed and still no major increase in revenue.I'm close,but still struggling to reach my second payment.

So I decided to do more research.I needed to know approximately how many visitors you need to realistically make money off Adsense ads.After digging around forums and asking questions it seems like the general consensus is about 100 Visitors = $ 1.00 in revenue.One forum member put it like this.

"Given these factors use the following figures VERY loosely:
A good click through rate on AdSense = 2% (give or take)
So if you get 100 visitors per day and a 2% CTR then that's 2 clicks you'll get on your ads.
What you get per click depends on the topic of your website but lets say it's $0.50.

So you'd end up with $1 per day."

So in other words if your blog gets 100 unique visitors a day you can expect to make approximately $100 in a little over 3 months.

Ever heard of online penny auctions?I hadn't before my roommate introduced me to them.When he first mentioned penny auctions I thought "here we go again" he is walking right into an obvious scam.To me being able to bid on and win factory sealed items like I pods or digital cameras for just a few cents or dollars sounded to good to be true.I brushed off his attempts to get me to try penny auctions by telling him to "just let me know how it goes."You see my roommate is a huge Ebay junkie who makes decent money reselling items.Lets just say that he is prone to scams in his efforts to find deals on items he can resell.

I was fairly surprised when my roommate told me he won the PlayStation 3 that arrived this morning to our apartment on a penny auction website.I was even more surprised when he told me he won it for 24 dollars and that he had a Nintendo DS a 25 dollar Wall-mart gift card and a Gorge Foreman grill on the way,all won at ridiculous prices.He later explained to me how he won these items by buying a $50 dollar bid package at a particular penny auction www.quibids.com.Needless to say, I was intrigued and decided to test this out for myself.

SO WHAT ARE PENNY AUCTIONS EXACTLY?

Basically you purchase a number of bids for a dollar amount.Then you use these purchased bids to bid on items that are on a timer starting at one penny.Each time someone bids on an item the price and the timer increase.

The Good

Legit-These sites are definitely not scams they deliver on what they advertise.I witnessed my roommate make at least a $300 dollar profit reselling items on Ebay.Items he won off his very first bid package he purchased.

The Bad

Purchasing bid packages-What you pay for on these sites are the bids and the final price of the auctioned item.If you lose an auction you don't get your bids back.You can basically blow all your bids trying for an item and never get it.Some people liken these penny auctions to gambling.

Entrecard Cry Babies

Lately Ive been noticing bloggers complain about Entrecards bounce rates and how the vast majority of droppers just drop cards and "bounce" without ever reading or clicking anything.The biggest knock on Entrecard is that the traffic is fabricated.Cry babies claim that "some traffic is better than no traffic" and laboriously drop cards everyday hoping to gain readers and subscribers.I don't think that placing widgets on your blog for the sole purpose of traffic exchange is what Entrecard is about.If that was the case it would seem like a waist of valuable home page space to me.If you don't enjoy reading blogs then your going to find Ecard dropping to be tedious.

I believe the purpose of Entrecard is the interaction of bloggers and the advertisement of your own blog.More than for the advertisement I use Entrecard to read whats out there in the bloggosphere.I enjoy reading clever articles.There are really good reads in the Entrecard community.Reading and interacting with other blogs gives me ideas to write about.After all,I wouldn't of wrote this post if I hadn't came across some whiny babies complaining about Entrecards bounce rates and if it's really worth the time.

A certain increase in bounce rates is to be expected.I don't mind it personally.There are going to be power droppers who look to meet their 300 drop quota asap.A sure fire way to curb that bounce rate is to work on your content.No better way to do content research than to read other blogs.You can find Entrecard to be a nice barometer.People usually leave their approval in the form of a comment,at least I do.

In terms of making money online the traffic you receive from Entrecard is a non factor.If your looking to make affiliate sales or hoping for advertisement clicks don't expect much of that from Ecard traffic.That money making traffic comes from places like search engines where people come to your blog specifically for the content you provide.

How I Make Money With Squidoo Lenses

I cover a good deal of websites that pay people to write articles.Article writing whether it be for your own blog or for others can be a big money maker.Websites like Squidoo.com set you up with a search engine optimized webpage where you can write about a topic of your choosing.In-turn Squidoo takes a small portion of the royalties made off the lens.Your able to customize Google ads,Chikita and eBay widgets to help increase the compensation.So basically Squidoo gives you an already search engine optimized template where you provide the content for.

The problem some people have with websites like this is "why share compensation with a website for content that I could monetize on my own?"Or in other words,"why write for someone else and give them a cut of my royalties when I can have it on my own blog or website?"I struggled with this myself when I first seen so many writing for websites similar to Squidoo.

I since came to realize the potential of websites like this.To put it simply,your not going to have the wherewithal and time to maintain a whole blog about every particular subject your knowledgeable and passionate on.So instead of dedicating a whole blog or risk hurting SEO with content that has nothing to do with your blog simply put it on a Squidoo lens that's already SEO friendly.

Lets say for instance I have 4 blogs I maintain.One has to do with food,one is over fishing,one video games and a religious blog for example.There is a recent hot political topic that I have some passion on and I know lots of people are talking about that is sure to be a highly searched topic on the web.Instead of posting the topic on one of my blogs which has nothing to do with politics I can voice myself on a optimized Squidoo lens.

Popular lenses can also be excellent promotional tools as your able to link other work you've done to the lens.Such as other blogs you may have or other lenses you created.

Next Google Page Rank Update Sometime In July

Google updates page rank every 3 months and the last update happened towards the end of April.It's safe to assume that the next update will happen sometime in July.So now that we know Google is sure to update page rank soon it would be a good idea to make sure your doing all you can in the last month before the update.

Here I put together a checklist of ways you can build up some page rank juice in the last month before the page rank update to hopefully increase your page rank.

Recently I been asked about alternatives to microworkers.com.It seems that these types of money making websites are gaining popularity and honestly I can understand why.Not only will you make money off tasks but webmasters,bloggers and affiliate marketers will find that posting tasks can be even more profitable.For example,a website may pays you $1.50 per referral sign-up,post your referral link as a task on microworkers for $0.50 a sign-up and you made a nice little profit.You can either pay for tasks or use the money you earned by doing tasks.(just a rough example)

How To Check If A Blog You Comment On Is Do Follow

One of the best ways to build links to your blog is to comment on other blogs that are do-follow.Or better yet,comment on blogs that do not have the no-follow attribute embedded in their HTML.All blogger blogs are no-follow unless the admin removes the attribute or installs some form of comment system that provides do-follow track-back.

When leaving wonderful comments that all bloggers just adore its nice to know that you will be rewarded with a do follow link back to your site.Back links offer page rank juice so its a critical aspect of SEO.A easy way to check if a blog offers do follow link back's on its posts comments is to simply view the page source and check for the no-follow attribute,ill explain in detail.

For Fire Fox web browsers: go to the post you plan to comment on, click the view tab (above url) then click on page source.With Ctrl + f look to see if other comments have a no-follow attribute linked to their blogs url.Just put nofollow in the ctrl+f search box .If you don't see a No-follow attribute on the individual comment links then the blog is a do-follow.

So basically just open the source window for whatever blog post u plan to comment on,click ctrl+f then in the search box type nofollow.If the search box cant find nofollow then the blog is a do follow blog.

For Internet Explorer:Same deal,in the menu bar click view then source.A source window will pop up and with CTRL + F check to see if there is any nofollow attributes.

Many blogs are Do-follow blogs but have a no-follow attribute embedded in their affiliate links.So when checking for the no-follow attribute,if Ctrl + f does find no-follow make sure to note what its attached to.If there isn't one on each comment then the blog is a do-follow blog.
