WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who is truly dedicated to the never-ending process of honing their craft as a creative builder of software. You should really care about great design, and just as much about great implementation. You should have a do-what-it-takes mentality and be interested in crossing into disparate and unfamiliar domains. You should understand how compilers work (and even how to build one). You should have worked on side projects just for fun (we're impressed by open source contributions). You should appreciate the beauty of functional languages and power of dynamic ones. You should be able to build a web app, end-to-end, on your own. Unix/Linux expertise is required and a degree in CS/EE is preferred, but a PhD from the school of hard knocks could work too.
