While this comes as no surprise - after all, China has been censoring their population’s media for many years, the Internet is no exception - the surprise comes from how the Chinese government goes about performing that Skype conversation censorship. They do it with the help of Ebay, which owns Skype.

An October 2008 report in the New York Times by John Markoff highlights exactly how Skype and Ebay helped the Chinese government accomplish the task of spying on their citizens.

The Skype software allowed in China is called Tom-Skype, and it’s a version of Skype created by eBay (the owner of Skype) and a Chinese wireless company. According to Citizen Lab researcher Nart Villeneuve, who discovered the security flaw in the Tom-Skype software, every time a user of Tom-Skype attempts to transmit a message that contains specific words or phrases, the message gets blocked and routed to one of several logging servers situated throughout China.

In addition to logging the text messages, the software also sent identifying information to Chinese servers, including the phone number of incoming Skype Voice calls (although voice calls themselves were not recorded). The most shocking part of the story is that not only are messages transmitted from Chinese citizens captured and logged to Chinese servers, but messages transmitted from outside of China (including from America, Britain and other nations around the world) are logged as well.

The bottom line is that Tom-Skype allows the Chinese government to spy on your Skype text conversations even if you are not a Chinese citizen. It’s never a good idea to have a text chat with a Chinese citizen with Skype, unless you don’t care about the privacy of the conversation.

The Skype Conspiracy, American Intelligence, and the China Revelation

It is somewhat ironic that many critics call the idea of the NSA monitoring of Skype traffic nonsense, while Skype is actively cooperating with the Chinese government in allowing just that kind of covert message collection.  If Ebay, the owner of the Skype software, is willing to collaborate with a foreign government in spying on citizens, for the right to conduct business there - why wouldn’t the company collaborate with the NSA for the sake of “national security”? Is it a Skype conspiracy of American intelligence collaboration - or is it just fiction and unjustified panic?

The evidence comes from events that revealed the NSA’s true motives from 2005 through 2009.

In 2007, AT&T whistleblower Mark Klein stepped forward and admitted that he knew the NSA maintained a “Secure Room,” inside one of AT&T’s network operation centers - the site of a massive Internet backbone line. Klein discovered that AT&T was cooperating with the NSA and allowin the agency to monitor Internet traffic. Klein was a major witness on Capitol Hill regarding the NSA’s illegal domestic monitoring activities.

Considering the existing evidence which proves that companies like Ebay/Skype and even large telecommunications firms like AT&T are willing to open their doors to the NSA and share information, it implies that any Internet communications vehicle you use is vulnerable to government spying, both from foreign governments, and from your own.

Although, the allegations regarding Paul’s work come from Gordon to Ed. I have an upcoming interview with Paul, where the accurate details will be revealed regarding that side of the coin.

So far, Gordon has not responded to my interview questions regarding RAM gravionics.

Ed’s Analysis Hits a Few Targets and Misses Most

For those who don’t know who Ed is, he is a leading proponent of the “exopolitics” community. Exopolitics is a theory that has been around for a long time - it’s essentially a name for hard-core believers in the reality of Alien contact and visitation. It is the hypothetical (depending who you talk to) study of human-extraterrestrial civilizations.

It is very surreal when you speak with someone from this cult…sorry…organization, because the “fact” that alien civilizations exist is not so much the question. You may want to discuss the fact that it’s very possible alien civilizations exist, but for the exopolitics crowd - it’s a forgone conclusion…no discussion. It’s sort of like an organization set up to study political relations between humans and fairies or elves.

RAM Technologies - There’s No Such Thing

Setting that aside, Ed comments on the unfolding RAM gravionics drama - much of which we revealed through our investigations over at RealityUncovered - in the following way.

Ed writes: “Gordon Novel, the primary party interested in moving ahead disclosure of the alleged RAM/ARV technologies, has been meeting with VIPs of Industry, Government, Intelligence Agencies, Science & Technology, and Hollywood for the past five years or more.”

This is an exaggeration. A few individuals from a few companies have entertained investing risk capital on RAM in addition to entertaining many other potential investments.

In one case, even the owner of a major hair shampoo brand was entertaining sinking money in…but the list of names are nowhere near the level Ed describes…few VIPs, only a single person allegedly employed by an Intelligence agency, very few (if any) government employees, and very few within Hollywood.

The only audience were occasional investors who routinely sink risk capital into projects that have may have the potential for large return, but they expect that they’re throwing their money away, and they are okay with that.

Gordon Novel and Jack Sarfatti

“Gordon’s altercation with Jack Sarfatti and a few choice threats, had Jack screaming FBI, so we see that this competition for talent and investors amongst competing RAMs has turned nasty.”

This is completely untrue. Jack’s response had nothing to do with “competing RAMs” and only had to do with personal threats of violence following a simple discussion on Sarfatti’s list regarding the science (or lack thereof) behind RAM Gravionics. You can read the accurate story here - Ed mentions an inaccurate 3rd part source (a forum) that had no direct input from all of the emails streams that we did at RU.

Ed writes:

“Ryan in his article made a good point that there is intense competition for investors amongst the RAM operations.”

Thank you Ed, but this is a blatant misquote. What I wrote was this:

“Needless to say, there were a fair number of investors and a lot of activity among the fringe scientists circling Gordon for an opportunity to collect their fair share of those investment funds.”

These weren’t other “RAM operations” (scientists reverse engineering anything) - they were fringe scientists looking for funding for their own research. Gordon was an avenue toward that funding - and you can see the principle fringe scientists mentioned throughout Gordon’s book, which he’s now trying to sell for about $39 a pop since the money-making potential of RAM is now moot.

Ed Claims There’s “Other” RAM Research - There’s Not

Ed writes:

“It seems that Paul Murad is somehow connected to yet another RAM operation and has been intent on poaching investors and talent from Gordon’s RAM, maybe even with Ron Pandolfi’s help.”

Ed has no evidence to claim Paul’s work is a “RAM” operation. I hope to have the facts straight from the horse’s mouth soon - but the above statement is nothing more than baseless speculation. The only true part of the statement is that investors who were talking to Gordon have bypassed Gordon (and RAM) and went straight to the background scientists instead.

Ed Writes:

“Dan Smith told me in the past that Paul worked for Ron.”

That statement is inaccurate. Paul worked for DIA, and Ron worked for a completely different agency. In fact, Ron has stated repeatedly that he dislikes the DIA a great deal.

“Keep in mind that Steven Greer has another RAM operation mostly associated with energy and like Gordon through good salesmanship and networking of contacts has accessed millions of dollars of venture capital.”

Blatantly untrue. Gordon never accessed millions of dollars of anything. Greer, on the other hand, is a horse of a completely different color.

The Technology is Being Suppressed - No It’s Not

Ed writes:

“On top of all this Gordon claims to be in a vigorous struggle with those who wish to suppress all RAM development in the public sector including his own.”

This is a common claim among folks looking to imply that the “powers that be” don’t want the technology to surface. You’ve probably heard claims from free energy proponents that the government and the oil industry “buys up” and buries all technological advancements that would make energy more affordable.

The claim, of course, is ludicrous - if any such technology (including antigravity) were real, industry leaders would be scrambling to purchase it and capitalize it as their own. Any such technology would make a single company a fortune - there’s no sense burying or trying to suppress it.

The reason either technology hasn’t surfaced yet in a practical device is because the technology itself (whether you’re talking free energy or antigravity) simply doesn’t exist yet.

Be wary of snake-oil salesmen. Yes, I’m talking to you venture capitalists. Invest your risk capital if you must - but stop being stupid.

Over the last year or so, if you follow along with fringe science news, you’ve probably heard talk of this strange term called “gravionics.”

Before you can follow along with the background of this new theoretical physics term, it’s important to spread your feet and plant yourself in reality first. The way to do this is to understand the Three Laws of Gravity (Newton’s Three Laws of Motion).

The Three Laws of Gravity in Simple Terms

We’ll get to Gravionics very quickly, but first take a very brief moment to review and make sure that you understand Newton’s laws. They will be instrumental in understanding the feebleness and incorrect science associated with current efforts in Gravionics.

Newton’s First Law of Motion: This is also known as the Law of Inertia. It states that every body/mass that is in a particular state of motion (either at rest or in a uniform speed in a straight line) will remain in that state unless outside forces act on the body and force a change in state (such as acceleration or change of direction.)

Newton’s Second Law of Motion: When an object is compelled to accelerate by an outside force, it accelerates at a rate that’s directly proportional (equal) to that force, but inversely proportional to its own mass (opposite or divided by). The direction of acceleration is in the same direction as the applied net force. Put simply, if you double the force, you double the acceleration. If you double the mass, you cut the acceleration in half.

Newton’s Third Law of Motion: Also known as the Law of Action and Reaction. If one object applies force to a second object, that second object applies an equal and opposite force back onto the first object. In a vacuum, one pool ball striking a second that’s at rest would make the first ball transfer to a state of rest, and the second ball would travel at the same exact speed that the first ball was traveling before the collision.

Understanding Gravity and Gravionics

Newton’s three laws of gravity are approximations, nowhere near Einstein’s Theories of General and Special Relativity, but he used the laws of motion to put together a law of gravity that reflects how things work here on Earth.

Newton’s Law of Gravity states that the force of gravity is equal to a constant value (G) multiplied by the two masses and divided by the distance between the two masses squared.

G (the force of gravity) is typically a very, very small number because the force of gravity is extremely weak - especially when you’re dealing with small masses or on a subatomic scale. Other fundamental forces of nature referred to by gravionics includes electromagnetism - the electrical forces that hold matter together and discussed on a quantum level in the field of quantum electrodynamics (QED).

The final two fundamental forces of nature are the nuclear forces - the strong force and the weak force - which, put simply, hold together the nucleus of all matter - and of course nuclear decay and nuclear emission.

So What the Heck is Gravionics?

In the not-so-brief description above, we’ve covered accepted physics. But if you’ve never waded into the world of Quantum and Theoretical Physics, you’re in for quite a ride. The field is so on the theoretical end of the spectrum that many scientific fraudsters and scam artists take advantage of the “scientific” speculations from many theoretical physicists in order to convince capital investors they’ve discovered the secret to things like free energy and anti-gravity (the two most commonly scammed subjects in history.)

Even our own government is unsure what to believe is real or false, as I detailed previously concerning what is called “technology threat assessment.” In other words, the government would not only like to know which of these cutting-edge fringe ideas other governments have achieved (or are about to achieve), but also what domestic efforts are near successful completion and whether said technologies represent a threat to U.S. national security.

What is Gravionics? It’s a new term being used by scientific fraudsters in the age-old scamming area of anti-gravity. Technically, the word “gravionics” would describe the interactions between the fundamental forces of nature - specifically gravity and electromagnetism - but in a way that could potentially produce technology (sort of how electronics represents technology produced to take advantage of electricity).

Proponents of Gravionics refer to “gravions” much like electricity has electrons - as quantum particles that are interconnected with mass and of course electromagnetic force. Gravity Waves as described by Robert Baker and essentially debunked by the JASON group was an early example of the approach to explain gravity in such a manner.

Most mainstream physicists recognize the term “gravionics” for what it is - a bogus, technical-sounding term backed by nothing more than theoretical techno-babble meant to confuse potential investors.

However, in recent years the phrase and concepts are getting tossed around as physicists who sit on the bleeding edge of real vs. fantasy physics continue trying to discern the difference between the two within the confines of our murky reality - and sometimes for the sake of our own government and our national security.

The decision to do this stems from the fact that I’ve been hearing things from a few of the nutters that suggests Ron is actively working in the background to create a diversion from this particular discourse.

Ed Komarek’s Strange Behavior

Upon hearing about this interview, Ed Komarek launched into a prolonged missive about Ron Pandolfi and Gordon Novel’s relationship. He clearly avoids mentioning RealityUncovered (god forbid people realized where Ed’s information came from), however his book-length description of what’s “really” going on in the background gets everything wrong. The only thing that’s clear about Ed is that he has no clue what’s really going on, but he doesn’t hesitate to jump in the limelight when he sees a major paradigm-shifting event in the near future.

Then there’s Dan Smith. The poor guy is like a leaf floating on top of a turbulent ocean - attempting to find meaning in unpredictable and violent winds, but bending at every whim of the ocean. Ron says what to say and Dan complies. In his mind, everything that comes forth from the mouth of Ron is imminent disclosure. Ron has enjoyed his position of power among the believer community for far too long. Dan is his tool for distraction and diversion.

Ron’s Attempt to Distract

Ron’s “Princess” is his fling - a willing new subject in his elaborate chess-game against believers. Ron runs personal experiments upon the believer crowd, and the crowd says “ooh” and “aah” on cue. Whenever something unpredictable happens, Ron works hard to redirect the plot - to restart a new storyline - in order to realign with his ultimate goals.

What are Ron’s ultimate goals? As he himself has admitted, they have nothing to do with UFO’s. They have nothing to do with disclosure of any sort. And no, they have nothing to do with foreign agents or international espionage. As Steve pointed out the other night during a discussion we were having - the man is a physicist, not an intelligent agent.

And so, setting aside the grandstanding, the drama, and the philosophical meanderings of fools - the ultimate question remains: Will Gordon Novel answer the questions?

I find this concept fascinating, because while many scammers often try to use a top secret clearance as proof that they have inside knowledge about the government’s business, other people are very blase and aloof about their clearance - listing it as just another item on their resume like any other.

However, what these individuals may not realize is that the choice to publicize secret security clearance could be a dangerous decision. I have a some public examples I’d like to show, but since these may be taken down shortly after being revealed, I’ll avoid linking to them.

The Dangerous Choice to Publicize Secret Security Clearance

One of the first examples examples I discovered was that of a former Lockheed PMP Top Secret DOD expert on LinkedIn. His name is John Grinold and he is a Senior Nuclear Engineer based out of Switzerland. His focus was performing “design risk analysis” for Lockheed Martin Space Systems.

Considering all of the conspiracy theories out there regarding Lockheed’s Top Secret DOD construction contracts and other urband legends, it seems inconceivable that someone would post their Top Secret access to such projects right on the public Internet. All it takes is one nutcase gaining access to your contact information, and you can just imagine the sort of madness that would invade one’s inbox.

John writes:

“Performed independent design risk analysis for Lockheed Martin Space Systems using cost, schedule and technical risk models reviewing top secret multi-billion dollar proposal for advanced remote sensing designs (TS/SCI)”

It wouldn’t take very much work for a savvy foreign intelligence agent to dig through this person’s details, discover contact information and approach the employee with a tempting offer to extract that top secret information. Because of this vulnerability, industry and business networking sites like LinkedIn present a significant security vulnerability for U.S. intelligence organizations.

If there isn’t a policy in place within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence for all intelligence agencies regarding whether or not employees and contractors can publicize secret security clearance - then there should be.

Here is another case, a man named Doug Evans, a PMP Top Secret DOD expert (Project Manager) based out of Washington DC. Note here as he proceeds to publicize secret security clearance.

Just searching Google for LinkedIn profiles turns up many dozens of such profiles that advertise their security clearance alongside other resume qualifications. While a security clearance is obviously a positive attribute to have when you’re job hunting in particular industries, should it be something that you advertise to the entire world?

There are two groups of folks who would find such information very useful. The first - Scammers who would like to make use of any very real project that you might have worked on in order to convince people that a fabricated project (using similar or identical code words) exists. The second and more dangerous - foreign agents who may approach and attempt to coerce individuals with security clearances into sharing sensitive information with a foreign intelligence service.

Protecting your privacy within LinkedIn is simple. Go into Settings, and then click on Public Profile. It will look something like this:

Every government or military employee or contractor should keep their identification private, or at least opt not to publicize secret security clearance that you might have on your record. While a potential employer may have an interest in your clearances, that doesn’t justify broadcasting it to the world and marketing yourself to foreign intelligence agents as someone who may hold valuable classified information.

However, if you really want to know how does the CIA define intelligence, you have to understand the foundation of the organization and the long history of how it attempted to influence foreign nations since then.

In effect, the CIA was born from the Office of Strategic Services, the active Foreign Intelligence organization critically necessary during the major world conflict of World War II. Once the War ended, the Intelligence organization found itself without a real mission - and the O.S.S. was officially terminated in 1945.

However, despite the fact that most government leaders considered the intelligence organization as a “necessary evil” during such a terrible conflict against such a ruthless dictator - the majority also considered such a “foreign intelligence” organization as unnecessary during peacetime.

In fact, when the C.I.A. was eventually founded upon the same basic principles as the O.S.S., the State Department, the F.B.I. and even the Department of Defense all attempted to stifle the growth of this new organization specializing in covert foreign intelligence.

What Intelligence Measures are Appropriate and Ethical?

Considering the idea of intentionally influencing foreign matters around the world, one needs to observe events during America’s own internal conflict during the mid 1800’s - the American Civil War.

Prior to 1862, the Civil war had nothing to do with slavery. The Southern States were simply fighting to split from the Union. In fact, the southern political structure more closely matched the Aristocracies of Europe, while Northern Democracy was still a concept that European nations did not believe would be effective or successful.

Outright war between the Union and England almost broke out in 1861 when Captain Charles Wilkes stopped and searched the British mail steamer, Trent, suspecting that Southern commissioners were aboard - attempting to reach Europe to request assistance in the Southern war effort. Wilkes captured the two - James Mason and John Slidell - on November 8, 1861 and imprisoned the two at Fort Warren in Boston Harbor. The British loaded up eleven thousand troops upon a war fleet and sailed toward the American mainland for war. Before they reached land, the North offered an apology and surrendered both prisoners.

Aside from this incident, where the British almost openly went to war with the North - not a single European Nation interfered outright with the internal American conflict. Support for either side was limited to the normal, non-preferential sale of arms to both the North and the South. No nation attempted to destroy the American Democracy by supporting the southern uprising.

How Does the CIA Define Intelligence by Contrast

Tibet is a perfect example of U.S. Intelligence efforts to subvert foreign political power by interfering in the internal affairs of foreign nations. Since the 1940’s, the CIA has never been averse to using drugs and sex to manipulate foreign powers, or to giving away U.S. military hardware and weaponry to support a particular civil uprising.

From the 1950’s through the 1980’s, the CIA’s primary focus across the world was to counter Communism anywhere is surfaced in the world.

In 1956, the Tibetan people rose up against communist China. The C.I.A. trained a small “special forces” team of six Tibetans in areas of demolition, small weapons handling and even Sabotage. The training took place at Saipan Island in preparation for a CIA operation called “Saint Circus.” The United States consistently approached the Dalai-Lama to team up with the U.S. government to publicly support the uprising. In 1958, CIA agents outright asked the Dalai Lama to publicly request U.S. help for the Chushi Gangdrug tribal alliance.

Meanwhile, the CIA actually brought Tibetan guerillas to Camp Hale and Butts Field Air Force Base in Colorado and trained them in military warfare tactics. Over seven years, the CIA trained over 200 Tibetan rebels. The Dalai-Lama consistently refused U.S. intervention in order to avoid outright war with China. Despite his efforts, the tribal National Volunteer Defense Army entered into war with China on March 10, 1959.

During the conflict that lasted just about a year, the U.S. covertly dropped 362 tons of military supplies - and “guerilla warfare specialists” - into Tibet to support the uprising against Communist China. Eventually, the Tibetan forces were militarily overpowered and the Tibetan government was forced into exile in India.

The CIA has conducted itself similarly throughout the rest of the world, particularly in the Middle East, for many decades. During a 1993 New York Times interview, the Dalai Lama reflected upon the similarities between himself and Saddam Hussein in how and when the West chose to support or condemn particular leaders.

Q: I understand that you were very angry during the 1990 gulf war, as angry as you’ve ever been.

A: Angry? No. But one thing, when people started blaming Saddam Hussein, then my heart went out to him.

Q: To Saddam Hussein?

A: Yes. Because this blaming everything on him — it’s unfair. He may be a bad man, but without his army, he cannot act as aggressively as he does. And his army, without weapons, cannot do anything. And these weapons were not produced in Iraq itself. Who supplied them? Western nations! So one day something happened and they blamed everything on him — without acknowledging their own contributions. That’s wrong.

Final Words

While it’s easy for Westerners to justify the often-unethical activities of the CIA in interfering with foreign affairs, U.S. citizens should also ask whether it would have been okay if Britain or France had covertly shipped many tons of military supplies and offered military training to Confederate forces. Would it have been okay if foreign powers, through covert means, completely altered the outcome of the American Civil War and ultimately changed the course of history?

The final question for U.S. citizens is this - is the C.I.A. even relevant any longer today, and is its mission and activities reflective of the core values and principles of America?

Last weekend, I thought Gordon was going to back out of the interview because he’d requested that questions and answers be vetted first by Jim Marrs, his son Sur Novel, and of course Ron Pandolfi. I’m pretty certain Project Camelot folks, George Knapp at Coast to Coast and Jerry Pippen did not need to jump through these hoops. However, Steve and I have become accustomed to these sorts of things - people throughout Ufology are always cautious when they are approached by RealityUncovered.

The good news is, the questions are completed and submitted to those three individuals as Gordon requested. The bad news is, he’s now added a longer list of individuals who need to “approve” the interview before he’ll move forward. I am still holding my breath…but not much longer.

The Upcoming RealityUncovered Gordon Novel Interview

The interview could go one of two ways. Once Gordon recognizes how much we are actually aware of, and the scope of our investigation, he may simply decide to back out. Whether that’s in a final flurry of violent tongue-lashing directed at RU, or in a simple “no comment,” is still in question. Or, he could decide to step up and have a conversation with us about matters that have been hidden from the public for a very long time.

The questions that I submitted last night covered a short list of the core personalities we are investigating in relation to Gordon Novel’s RAM project. They are the same personalities RU has been investigating throughout our Serpo research, MJ-12 research and our overall Ufo mythology investigations. The questions touch on the following points:

-> Ron Pandolfi’s activities in taking advantage of and manipulating Gordon’s core beliefs regarding “Magic” or “Majestic” - a mythological group of government insiders bent on thwarting disclosure of government UFO secrets (there is no such organized group.)

-> Hal Puthoff’s deep involvement with Gordon Novel and the RAM project, which he played down in previous emails to Ron Pandolfi, but which Gordon’s new “SCS Report” now publicly reveals in detail.

-> Gordon’s attempts to extract sums of money, from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars, from certain individuals for various activities related to RAM. One particular question focuses primarily on reports that Gordon attempted to have Dan Smith fund Jim Marrs work for RAM, as only one example.

-> Gordon’s response to the CIA documents that outline how often in the past he has claimed CIA “affiliation.” The CIA documents point out that there is absolutely no affiliation whatsoever. At RealityUncovered, we’re looking for Gordon’s response to that.

-> Ron Pandolfi’s various activities related to Gordon, even eventually driving Gordon to sink into debt in order to fund travel/expenses for the SARA conference where Murad and his colleagues would present their research. Did Ron leave Gordon hanging with that debt?

-> Finally, we’ve quoted Ron clearly stating that he thought the entire thing - a man running around the country claiming affiliation with CIA and building a device out of old car parts and electronic curcuits, was “really funny.” We are looking to see if Gordon appreciates Ron’s sense of humor.

Publication Deadline

I’m hoping to have an opportunity to talk directly to Gordon in a recorded interview, and have that published at RealityUncovered within a week or so. However, Gordon’s immediate reply to my questions - responding with a requirement that we must reveal our sources, and that a list of individuals must approve the interview - tells me that the recorded interview isn’t very likely to happen.

In the case where the interview doesn’t take place, the update will be in the form of an article at RealityUncovered, detailing all of these findings in detail along with supporting evidence. Here at TSW, I am going to turn to developing the questions for the long-anticipated Paul Murad interview, also to be published on RU. More to come.

What’s particularly interesting is the fact that Bruce was first pulled into the CIA’s data-collection efforts into Ufology when he was invited to speak at the Agency on the 1978 New Zealand sightings that he had gone over and investigated in 1979. FUFOR, of course, was not happy with Bruce’s involvement with CIA contacts - in particular, Kit Green and Ron Pandolfi - but that’s a story for another time (I covered some of it in that earlier post).

What the New Zealand Reports May Reveal

The New Zealand Defence Force, following the lead of other countries like the UK, will start releasing all of those UFO files starting in 2010, once they are done redacting identifying information to protect the privacy of individuals.

The one particular sighting that most Ufologists are anxious to get a hold of the government files for, was the case that Maccabee covered - the lights in the sky over Kaikoura. The lights were documented on Australian news, aircraft followed the lights, and there was a radar signature as well. You can read Maccabee’s report via his MS Word download. Here is an excerpt from the pilots found in Bruce’s report.

Then, at 0251 a bright light appeared, far ahead of the plane. The plane called Wellington to find out if there was a radar target in that direction. Wellington reported “…a strong target at 12:00 at 20 miles…” (point 33 on Figure 6). The plane told Wellington, “We have that one, also, and quite a good visual display at the moment. It looks like a collection of lights.”

Fogarty recorded the following message over the next 93 seconds, “About 30 seconds after that last statement we have another one right in front of us, very bright. Seems to be a long ways away…and another one just to the left of it. That one flashed extremely brightly. They’ve both now faded…..The other one’s flashing again. It’s giving off an orange flashing light. It looks like an aircraft beacon. It’s moving off. It’s extremely bright… it fades…. and it’s dropped. It seems to have just dropped at an incredible speed and it…seems to be rolling and turning. In fact, one light has another beside it……Oh, I don’t know… I really don’t know what is going on…It appears to be over the hills…..There appears to be a whole cluster of them, in fact.”

At this point in the tape, about 1 minute after the sighting started, Crockett yelled to Fogarty (the tape recorder picked up his voice in spite of the engine noise), “I can’t see anything.” Then Fogarty resumed his commentary: “You can see orange and red among the lights. There’s one particular one that keeps flashing to the right hand side of… you can see three distinct lights. In fact it looks very much like the same sort of pattern we saw when we came down over the Kaikoura coast on the way down, but there wasn’t as much flashing. It really is, uh, quite strange.”

Something Real and Something Strange

Obviously, the pilots saw something strange. Radar picked up on unidentified objects, and the film crew on the plan even captured vague images of the lights in the distance. The event and the sighting had a lasting impact on many of the witnesses.

According to the news report, one man who worked for the Transport Ministry at the time of the sighting reported that he was working on location at the Christchurch International Airport when it occurred. He reported that he saw U.S. Air Force planes “with unusual call signs” flying through the area at the same time - and even today he is interested to learn more about what the lights really were.

“For the US Air Force to come all that way and spend three days here, there must have been something going on.”

So the question now is this - among all of the other files from New Zealand which may be interesting all on their own, will there be anything new within those files that might help explain the famous mysterious New Zealand UFO lights over Kaikoura?

I plan to keep an eye on these reports and if there is anything interesting regarding this case, I’ll be writing up a report on it over at RealityUncovered. All we can do right now is wait and watch…and hope that they don’t redact half of the documents for the sake of “privacy.”

Nick Redfern’s Writing Bio

Nick covers the topic of real alien sightings and reports in a way that acknowledges the reality of the phenomenon of UFOs and abductions, but he also is wary of drawing his own conclusions unless there are some real documents to support it. In this field, such an approach is refreshing.

The impressive thing about Nick’s writing is that although he touches on subjects that are pretty wild and weird, his approach is that of a journalist - corroborate stories, request FOIA documents, and report accurately. For example, in the case of my favorite book - Body Snatchers in the Desert, Nick covers a WWII project that was ongoing at the time of the Roswell crash that utilized Japanese POWs in horrible nuclear tests on humans.

My Phone Conversation with Nick Redfern

The phone “chat” turned into an hour-long conversation. Nick described the premise of his book, which I will not give away suffice to say that it’s a journalistic story detailing what Nick has uncovered about a particular secret government project from the 1950’s that involved occult practices. The book touches on a hypothesis to explain today’s real alien sightings (and other “visitations”).

The project pre-dated the remote viewing project of the 70’s and 80’s, but it also had unnerving and very troubling connections to many of the individuals eventually involved in the remove viewing research.

The interesting thing about Nick’s upcoming book is that the beliefs about the “source” of the phenomenon, such as real alien sightings, that his sources have closely match my own personal suspicions (and worries) about the potential source of phenomena like hauntings, alien abductions, and UFO sightings. Nick and I agreed that at the core of most of these events is an unnatural base of manipulation and “trickery” by the unseen forces at work. Nick’s sources have drawn their own conclusions about those forces.

The best part of the conversation, for me, was when I once referred to the concept as “your theory.” He stopped me and said, “Woah, I’d just like to clarify that this isn’t ‘my theory,’ these are concepts reported to me by the sources I interviewed and noted on the FOIA documents I was able to obtain.” After that statement, my respect for Nick increased ten-fold. I can’t speak for all of his other books, but I can speak for this one, due out in 2010 - it is well researched and supported by evidence.

In researching his upcoming book about that top secret 1950’s occult project, Nick focused primarily on those FOIA documents that confirmed the secret government project (now unclassified) that his sources referred to. Consider that - no one knew to do a FOIA request for the now-unclassified project name until the sources informed Nick about it. Nick followed up and was able to obtain real documented evidence that what the sources were telling him was true.

That, my friends, is called true Disclosure.

I wish Nick the best, and I’m very much looking forward to reading this latest novel when it comes out.

Well - I was finally able to publish the John Alexander article on RU tonight. The signs all point to John Alexander as an important player in the UFO field as well as in psychic research. John’s UFO and Psychic connections don’t only exist within the realm of rumor and gossip, but they are documented in countless books and now, even a movie.

Drawing the Connections

Aside from the quote in Bob Collins book that details John’s involvement in the meeting at Ernie Kellerstrass’ house in 1986, there’s also Bill Moore’s identification of John as one of his “Aviary” contacts. Then there’s his involvement in a field (remote viewing) that so many modern-day Ufologists come from. Then there’s the Stubblebine episode, as well as a reported episode out in a Southwestern desert hunting for an underground base (that one is pure rumor).

I was hoping that talking directly with John about those UFO and Psychic interests would stem my suspicions that he’s at all actively involved in many of the events that took place in 2005 and continue taking place today regarding the attempted distribution of MJ-12 related memes. However, his answers to my questioning left the distinct impression that he was not only being incomplete, but he was being extremely evasive.

I’ve been personally following the events surrounding Gordon Novel and the crumbling of his “RAM” project over the last several weeks. Many people thought that Gordon’s past only included the JFK conspiracy - however, as you can see from the picture above, Gordon was rubbing shoulders with paranormal/ufology researchers long before the concept of “RAM” was ever formed.

There is also the drama surrounding Stubblebine’s traveling to Europe in 1991 with a Ufologist that he eventually married - and the resulting divorce in 1994. These events would be nothing more than rumor and innuendo if it wasn’t for the fact that this small tight-knit group - Stubblebine, Alexander, C.B. Scott Jones and the two women - Laibow and Victoria - all appear oddly close to what we at RU have come to call the “Invisible Intelligence Agency.” I believe the European trip was more significant than many people realize, and I also believe that there are relationships and background manipulations that most readers can only imagine.

On a positive note, every now and then through interesting glimpses of the truth - like the photo above - you are able to eventually step back and perceive the big picture, even if those who are inside the picture do their best to divert, obscure and distract.
