The JSC / JDC exam is conducted for class 8 students of the Bangladesh. After the PSC examinations, JSC is the second largest public examination conducted by DPE for the students studying in all the 8 education boards of the Bangladesh. It is mandatory for all the 8th grade students to appear in the JSC public exams and to qualify in it to go for their higher education. Every year lakhs of students of Class VIII will write this JSC exam from various divisions of the country. The JDC JSC results for the examinations will released on December every year and the toppers or the candidates scored higher marks or GPA 5 will be selected through the JDC Scholarship result and will be given the scholarship or stipend for their higher education. This is all about the JSC / JDC examinations.

Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam stared from 1st April 2014 where almost 2.15 Lakhs students attend in the exam. In the present year total 11,41,374 students registered from 8,104 educational institutions under 10 education boards, including technical Education board and madrassah education Borad, to participate the HSC exams at 2,352 centres all over the Country.

Among the total students, 9,24,171 participated the HSC examinations under the eight general education boards and 1,07,557 students participated Alim examinations under the Madrassah Education Board.
