Just a thought, if one is able to make things happen by being positive and actually working on a solution to a problem (not complaining, but doing something about it). However bad a situation is, there is always a solution to it, not necessarily a complex one as is always our first solution to jump for that then makes us give up on the whole thing again.

I think if one masters these two key ingredients, then that in itself can tap into another whole new level. The limit can be oneself because I don’t see why you can not succeed in what you do/fix a problem. Sometimes we are too busy looking for complex solution, what everyone is doing/everyone is chasing after. We get comfortable with the norm/routine and we are not willing to just try something different. Why not try simple, no one ever said there is something wrong with that. If it works and get things done/gets you where you want to be, well....by all means do it #food for thought

Hi people....Gosh it’s been awhile.. I've actually missed writing, ooh well I guess I didn't have the inspiration to do so. So what y'all been up to anyway?

Myself I have been in an adventure of finding myself (as always) and so far I guess I know which direction to take from here henceforth.

So 'relationship'.....Hmm...funny how us humans have a way of complicating everything with different views that make us even question the most obvious thing like a relationship. When it’s just meant to be simple and easy....Someone sometimes back asked me this.. ''what is it that you look for in a relationship"? This question if you were to ask it randomly to any chic, let’s just say we always jump to those obvious statements like he has to be tall, handsome, a good sense of humor (that has to be there :-)..), well groomed, stable - good house and car, mature, from a good family,..All that en more sounds so good on paper..

But my answer was simple....

For me what I'd want out of relationship is that I'd want to truly love that person, that every day after work I look forward to run to him and for that feeling to never die (I guess you know you've found true love when you catch yourself falling in love with the same person over and over again)

:) ok!...maybe am living in my own fantasy world, sue me for wanting it to be my reality but have seen and experienced many relationships that people stay together just cause they are well-suited...I agree you have to be compatible with someone but just don't confuse compatibility with settling, there's a huge difference!

Like I always say my opinion people...open to hear your views on the same topic..

Wats up y'all!!..how you been???..as always I miss taking to y'all...

Before I forget I have to mention my new found friend...you know yourself..Thank you! for that tough sister talk you gave me..It was an eye opener...I guess I kinda knew and agreed to everything. Well sometimes we become so ignorant to the obvious, anyway still Asante!!

'Smile'..so guys have actually written songs about this, but honestly its like a secret weapon that people take so lightly. I have come to appreciate its full potential and it makes a lot of sense.. true story guys..I know its not that easy.. true, but think of it this way, whatever situation you are going through, of course hard times or maybe a very sad situation.

The problem doesn't go away cause you down and sad, being positive and smiling like you are oblivious of it really cuts it, and funny enough you will find a solution to it when you see it positively and not allowing anything to get you down.

Maybe am just living in my small world and being naive about this, but just give me your ear (ok :) in this scenario your eyes..) whatever you are going through that is getting down...hmmm...wait let me rephrase that, do you think that maybe when you going through a difficult time, someone (a friend maybe) can offer to take this pain away (like ''oohhh I don't want you to go through this, so I am offering to bear this pain for you and when everything is good you can continue with you life''..yea right!..like that can ever happen).

What you can atleast get maybe is advice or someone giving you hope..right?, but when it's all said & done you are left with whatever situation that was getting you down, am I right?.

My point is since no one can take away your pain..hell! don't let anyone take your happiness & this people..you have full control of..

It's just you to decide whether you want to see things positively or continue having that long ugly face...

So people..however bad it looks, just smile!!

Finding peace within oneself

Hi people!!, how y'all been???....myself am I know my last post was soooo long.............so am gon spare you this time and keep it short.

So finding peace within oneself....I have my own view on this..tell me what you think, aiit?.

'To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one's family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one's own mind. If a man can control his mind he can find the way to enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him'...

I soo agree btw. Here is a thought...It's so hard to forget pain, but it's even harder to remember sweetness. We have no scar to show for happiness. We learn so little from peace.

I have also come to realise that many people think excitement is happiness.... But when you are excited you are not peaceful. True happiness is based on peace.

Also remember people If you cannot find peace within yourself, you will never find it anywhere else.

My fav one of them all...

Peace begins with a smile :-)

Life span of a breakup

Hi y'all.. I know my last post was a sad one, boohoo.....but I was going through a certain phase..Lets just say its over now en am now and am back..Yay!!...so wat have I missed???....

For me..Hmm.....Well...

You know how having a blog is somehow a lame excuse to share about things that one is going through or their opinion of stuff..emphasis on 'sharing' :-).... Well!...so I thought this might help someone one day. I don know I found myself asking people how they dealt with their break up, it kinda was encouraging to face mine, and all had different views but similar endings, time heals all wounds!!..so not that am wishing anyone this, you know me..I wish you all nothing but Total Bliss, but in case you are ever in this situation.. may be my experience will help you move on.....

Anyhoo..I myself went through some different stages..here, let me take you through my stages....

Denial - Lately you notice that things are not the same with your partner… you've come to realize that there you are starting to feel a lot of emptiness and there is a lot of talking back, start noticing that things aren't going to work out unless you enjoy getting the "silent treatment". Ultimately, and as hard as it may seem to accept at first, you need to master up the courage and face the fact that things aren't going to work out, your relationship is coming to an end.

The Crappy Part - Once you realize that your life will be different, that you have to rearrange everything that you had planned together. You go through the phase of cry into your pillow for some nights and agonize about what's going to happen next. Your life may seem over, but trust me, time heals all wounds and even a broken heart will mend over time. This stage sucks :-(, but its vital believe me. DO NOT hold in your hurt, you'll only feel worst later on and don’t blame yourself for anything it wasn’t your fault..plizzz!! cause once you go down that road....., you might will look down on yourself and settle for the next thing that comes your way, remember your worth!!

Realization – Okay, so now it’s finally sinking in and then you realize you can never call them to tell them of how your day was and some damn thing that only they once got... or, at all? What if you start to miss them? What if they don’t miss you? You might start to think maybe it wasn't a good idea to break up after all. And then you have an epiphany, of course it was a good idea – their love for you died..so it might have started with one person but eventually the relationship wasn't working out. Don't call them!! remember you broke up for a reason. Just because you miss them doesn't mean it'll be great when you see them again. Just keep reminding yourself why you broke up in the first place and DON'T CALL THEM!

The Rage - That *********! I treated them like gold! en nkt..nkt!! lets not even go there (It sucked being left for someone else btw)... This is the most critical stage - Bitterness. You list all their annoying traits that you once thought was actually cute. At this point instead of wasting your day in bed watching old reruns of some sad chic flick movies or stressing yourself over and over again over the break up you get out of bed and dress to impress. Now that you look good and feel great you can actually say and believe, "if they don't want me, that's their loss, not mine, and you open yourself to the many possibilities that life has to offer" (Pain will leave you, when you let go). Over time you'll start missing them less and love yourself more (The most courageous act is still to think for yourself. Aloud). Keep yourself busy with new hobbies, work and hang out with friends that you once neglected. There is no point feeling sorry for yourself when there is a whole world out there waiting for you with plenty of new and exciting people to meet.

THE CRUSH - Over time you'll begin to realize that your ex isn't the only one in the world. Wow!..I know right.. There's some damn fine peeps in your city. The point is, once you're able to open yourself up again, other people will want to get to know you. Even if you're not ready to start an intense relationship with somebody else, get out there and start having fun again. You'll get over your ex a lot faster if you stop moping around.

FREEDOM! -You haven't thought about your ex in days, (well it's a start) and maybe one day just maybe there they are strolling down the street with someone else, and your stomach doesn't lurch and your face doesn't even turn red. Once the encounter is over, you stroll away proud and tall and don't think about the encounter for more than 10 minutes ever again. (PS. Have they put on weight? hehehe...I mean). You smile, because now you know you are finally free and ready to open up and love again.

This is my experience of my broken heart. Although some stages may be longer than others, mine was short cause I came to accept the reasons why it came to an end and there was no reason to agonise about it any more so it didn't make sense hurting over them...the important thing to remember is, you WILL get over this. If someone doesn't love you anymore or you don't love them, there is no point in staying together even if it hurts to break up. Over time the pain will heal and you'll be ready to let others in and share your wonderful self with them. If they break your heart, learn, feel (because it's important to be human), and live again. just because one relationship didn't click, doesn't mean that there's not another person waiting close by to snatch you up.

Finally you need forgive them remember True forgiveness is when you can say, "Thank you for that experience.. don't compare them to the next person.., no need to shut yourself out in ever finding happiness again.

Now you are on your way to finding your Total Bliss!!!

PS..this is the last sad post...Total Bliss is about finding happiness in all that we do :-)....

Break up

Break up...

The key, however, is to want to be happy and retain your enthusiasm. Once it is clear in your mind, the way ahead gets simpler.

Yes people its over....I know you'll think that I was blind to this fact, with everything that I said earlier on..But it happens, I guess I can eat back my words and accept this sad reality as it has happened to me. Did I cause it, I don't think so but it was just a scenario of falling out, not being sure any more cause of not being satisfied..lets just say my ass was dumped, not a nice feeling btw...I guess love does surely die at some point...Whats next, wish there was like a manual for this, how long does this heartbreak last....:-) on lighter note Google has every answers to every question..'how to get over a heart break'

No one dies from this...hehehe..just asking :-)..six years, wow next month could have been the six year anniversary, that could have been the finish line, marked that end can't believe am joking about this, but then again what else is there to do...with everything that has happened now am not worried, am ready mourn this and take that next step and see what life has in store for me. I think after the tears it becomes exiting again as you are single and ready date again..some psyche am giving my self..But truth be told, once you have closure and you don't question anything, it becomes easy...

My life will be filled with Total Bliss again..I know it..

Hi people or is it Happy 2012?. I know..I know I have been MIA for awhile now, am sorry :-(.., forgiven? Ok back to being psyched, its Friday....Yeei!. So how have things been with y'all? New years resolution?..anyone?. I don't know but every new year I always feel like its another opportunity to do something different with my life, set new goals, some that I don't see thro'. I get so psyched at first thinking about my set goals and the new things I will do that year and the excitement itself is sometimes enough to convince me that I will see to them and then something happens and that year is over and I have done nothing :-(, but come what may, I will see to my 2012 resolutions. There is so much to done but I will surely keep you posted.

Yeeei!! The holidays are here....Xmas break!! (Yes am excited that we are starting our Xmas break today). Gosh! the years are really flying. Twas January just the other day (one more year down..sheiks!..this means one year plus older :-( .. is there a pause button for this?..anyone?), Mmhhh...which has got me thinking., what have I achieved this year? Mmhh..what have you achieved this year?

Anyhoo! am glad its this time of the year again, normally am not this Ecstatic about it, but for some strange reasons am so happy!, may be it has to do with the fact that am looking forward to next year (I have so many 'gifts' to unravel). Well this year wasn't all that in the beginning..nothing to report, but towards the end, things just fell into place and ended up being a fab! year after all.. and I found the secret to it (now, I need you full attention for this)...being positive!... not rocket science. I know I have said this before, but seriously being positive with full of hope really cuts it, its like the first step to achieving whatever.

Always remember 'its never that serious' (some wise words from...Mmh..ok, I forgot the author.."Worry is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but doesn't take you anywhere" so why not fill that 'worry' void by being positive).

Have merry Xmas people...en off-course a new year filled with Total Bliss!!

How are you people!! Ok....Ok, I know I have been MIA for awhile now but am back!..So what have I been missing out on??. So much has happened and I have to agree, things are looking up, no complains. Was speaking to a friend of mine just the other day and she made me really think..She was telling me how she believes that different people possess different energy, you know, negative and positive energy which tends to rub off on you when you around them and also that if you possess a positive energy in the sense that you are positive about things, this is what you get back and with this realization you can be at peace and achieve so much, she really believes in this stuff..had me convinced. Simply put am loving my life right now.

Back to matters at hand. Do you believe that love can die? ...anyone?....Mmmmhh? Well in my opinion, I don't. Am thinking about about my fiancée, not judging from now I mean been together with him for close to six years now..., ok... not so long for many but at least long enough to maybe, I don't know.. run out of things to say to each other (surprisingly he is the only one I'd hang around and just chill in silence and not feel weird about it). Come to think of it, I really don't think love can just die..I agree the excitement and attention is what dies if you let it and what many tend to look for outside, you know..just cause you've been together for ten or so years doesn't mean that you don't need the same attention given the first time you met or the excitement of doing this or that together just cause he has you now (men I hope you are taking notes..aha! I think it goes both ways).

Anyhoo! in my view, the task here will be.. you know what?.. if you really do love them it shouldn't be a task, just give him/her the attention they deserve, every day make it an exciting experience (the little things matter the most), find excitement in them (you know.. want to do stuff with them) and most importantly growth, there has to be growth in any relationship..to me growth is like education, there is always something new and you can never reach a limit to it, which means you can never reach your love peak (make sure there is evident growth in your relationship). Just a thought..what makes people cheat or walk out of relationships? Its not cause their love dies? No!.. it boils down to this three main factors..seriously think about it!

Contentment

Truth be told I don think any human being would be content with what they have or need..there is always going to be something else they aching for or just something else they want . Nothing will ever be enough. 'Contentment' can it be misinterpreted to settling? Just the other day in a conversation with my fiancee, as an assurance to him after having a disagreement, I told him that am content with what we have. Somehow he interpreted this to mean that I was settling and he wasn't for that.

What I meant was that am satisfied to all my hearts desire and that I was very happy with us and wouldn't ask for anything else. Many of the times I have notice people when they reach their set of goals be it monetary or where they see themselves in their future, they don't sit back to appreciate their achievements, don't get me wrong am not saying don't set goals..I too have goals. All am saying or what I keep telling myself now and again, never to find myself frustrating over what I don't have or what I admire from the next person (frustrations will just weigh you down) but instead being content with what I have, not setting limits for myself..No! to me I interpret Content as being Happy with what I have..I still have goals but am happy with now!!

Love

Ever truly think of how amazing this feeling is..am talking about LOVE, such a short word with so much weight; motherly love, love for your sibling or family for that matter better yet a stranger that you just met and came to love.., the unconditional love!.

Scary but this feeling of love can be so overwhelming sometimes that you can find yourself putting others before you (sacrifice). And surprisingly loving this person (the giving itself) is a better excuse to be happy or can also act as a strength, to give you the will to go on when facing hardship or wanting to succeed and aslo to easily forgive when they wrong you.

We truly are created in God's image, cause we got this gift first from him. The gift of love, he has proven his love for us more than once, first with the sacrifice of his only son (putting us before him), and forgiving us then and again when we turn away from him. I strongly believe the first step to being happy, is to be able to love and to love unconditionally. From my experience the giving itself/ loving someone is the most satisfying feeling and it gives me so much bliss.

So if you want to find your total bliss..., love is the first step!

Happiness

Hi guys! Bella here. Am hoping we will be the best of pals from now on. I want you to also share your views on my blog. Looking forward to our new found friendship.

Ever wondered what really makes us happy..you could say, its being filthy rich so you could have everything at you disposal, or being loved unconditionally or.....,but why is it that we are never truly happy there is always something hanging to worry about, if its not this its that. I ache for that happiness cause I know what I truly want and my resolution from now on will be to work towards achieving that and I won't let anything or anyone stand in the way of my happiness!

I think happiness first starts with being true and loyal to oneself and most importantly loving oneself unconditionally, I mean! really loving & appreciating oneself no excuses. I for one make excuses about so many things & you know what enough!

Gosh! I need, I need that total bliss...need to feel like am on seventh heaven & I am going to get there cause from where am at, the only one standing in my way is me. I will find my utmost Happiness!.
