We all know that I look like a total angel but am actually quite naughty, so I was very happy when I heard about another kitty just like me.

I know..... picking on your dog is a bad thing to do. But come on...my dog is a real dummy. I love her, I truly do. She is shaggy and the best place in the whole house to snuggle is her shaggy belly - but look at her.... she doesn't have a clue!

She's so busy sucking up to mummy and looking at her with those big brown 'Love me' eyes that she didn't even see me coming!

Thanks for you birthday wishes. My mum made me brocoli and cat food pie - which I have to say was totally awesome. I've forgiven her for going away on her trip but only after two days of a shared bacon sandwich for breakfast.
Woo hoo... today I met a new kitty after my own heart. His name is Smurf and his mummy lets him out to do all the things that I'm not allowed to do like catch birds, mice, bats and rabbits! Seriously... Smurf is my hero. He's a hunter on a mission. My pin up bad ass kitty hero.

He looks cute right? Butter wouldn't melt and all that....
WRONG!

My mummy has been off doing something really awesome for Save the Children but I have really missed her. She came home on Saturday and just in time for my birthday.... It's on Wednesday, and I'm going to be 1! I'm very excited because I'm getting a cake, maybe a brocoli cake if I'm really lucky.

Anyway, my mum needs some help. Save the Children need to get 100,000 signatures on their Press For Change petition before the UN Summit in NYC in a couple of weeks.

Can you get your mums and dads to sign?

Now I KNOW that I'm cute. I get told it like a hundred times a day but recently there seems to be this thing going down in my house that I don't quite get.
I'm a kitty right?
And kitty's are naughty right?
I know that I am partial to the odd ballet sock, lego head and Flip cam (if I'm feeling extra naughty) but I'm just a kitty.....

I'm bad and I like it! This weeks challenge is all about destroying my human bro's experiment. I am kind of sorry cause I do really love him. He lets me snuggle in his bed and he has quite the warmest tummy but I just can't help myself.

Testing Time

I went to get re tested for Coronavirus last week and mummy has just got off the phone to the nice lady vet. It's not good news..... my titre count is still >1280, exactly the same as it was three months ago just after Jimmy died.

We were really hoping that it would have gone down, at least a little bit because I really want a kitten to play with.

The good news is that I am fit, frisky and still stealing things that I shouldn't really have. Mummy found two pairs of ballet socks, a sponge and five lego heads in my box yesterday. Good job she loves me!

Oh dear, oh dear. I was a bit naughty and I have to come clean. I stole mummy's new Flip video camera. You see...it has a nice long strap on the end and I do like to pull things along.

Mummy was searching everywhere for it - but it was no where to be seen. I didn't tell her that it was in my box (with the lego heads) but she found it when we were playing.

I have had to promise not to take it again. But I said to her... you know I can't promise that don't you mummy and she just smiled and gave me a cuddle.

Mummy has a big son who is away at university. I like him... he gives good cuddles. But today I have been a bit naughty and I should say sorry to him:(
You see I just can't help myself... I have a bit of a thing for Lego men.... I like to pull their heads off and hide them in the dogs bed.
Not harming anyone am I? Lego men are only toys after all.. But today, mummy's big son said I went a bit too far.

I only went and killed his really big £200 Lego Star Wars Star Destroyer. .....

He then told me that it took a whole month to build...... oops.....
So I looked at him with my big blue eyes. Looked back at the Lego mess, dove in and ran away with the shiny red Imperial Guard figure (I've had my eye on him for ages!!).
That'll teach him!

Hello and thank you to everyone who sent me nice healing messages. I have been totally fine since my little op... though I do still have that huge butchered bald patch! Mummy says its going to take forever to get my curls back....

Mummy got this great picture of me today..... I do like a sneaky drink from the tap in the kitchen... but not as much as I like eating all of her plants!

This morning mummy took me to the vets for my operation. I really didnt want to go and shouted at her the whole way there in the car. I do like Ella the nice vet lady though... she says I am a frisky little beauty. She clearly knows a quality kitty when she sees one.

Mummy went home and the next bit is a bit of a blur - but when I woke up I thought that I had turned into a chicken....

Thankfully the nurse was just a bit too keen with her razor (so mummy tells me). When mummy came to pick me up I was so pleased to see her. I felt all woozy and I couldnt really see properly but I knew she was here cause I could hear her and I could smell her yummy mummyness.

She held my paw all the way home in the car which she said was pretty tricky when she was changing gear and going round corners. But my mummy loves me.

When we got home she went upstairs and got my favourite jumper that I like to snuggle under but whilst I'd been out daddy had the kitchen door open and there were some flies buzzing around.

I like flies.

So even thought the nice vet lady had told mummy to make sure I had a nice restful afternoon I clearly had to get those flies.

Cause that's my job, right?

Thank you for all of your kitty love. I got it all and look... I have killed 4 flies, 2 spiders and one beetle this afternoon. Not bad going for a post op kitty...

A big hello to all you kitties. It has been a lovely sunny day today and I spent most of it sunbathing on top of daddy's fabric bin. It's a great spot for warming my ears!
Mummy has spoken to the nice vet lady and they have decided that it's best if I get spayed before I start to call.
Thursday is the big day so please send me lots of love an purrs.

Thank you all so much for all of the lovely comments that you have left for me. Mummy has had a tough decision to make this week. You see I am 7 months old and mummy has to choose if she lets me go into season or if she takes me to the vets to have me spayed.

Both things are going to stressful for me and she just wants to make sure that I'm OK.

I found a new game today.... attacking her camera strap! I am a naughty kitty!

A very big thank you to all you blogging kitties for the lovely message of support. They are much appreciated. I've been playing my all time favourite game this evening... it involves me and a box of crisps. I jump in. Mums shouts "Cheryl..." I pop my head out of the box and she shouts "out!" I get out of the box, run over to her for a kiss and she carries on with what she's doing so I jump back in the box and we start all over again. Such fun.
But now I'm worn out from all of that playing.

I told you about Jimmy passing away but now we have some more bad news. My test results came back yesterday and my antibody titre is >1280. This is the same level as Jimmy's when he passed away.
My mummy is really upset and I am jumping around like the crazy thing that I am to show her how healthy I am.
FIP is a really horrible thing and we hope and pray that someone will find a cure and that I'm going to live a long and healthy life.

Thank you for all of the kind messages about Jimmy. His blood results came back with high FIP markers so mummy took me to the doctors to be tested yesterday too.

The vet lady said I was beautiful - she clearly has taste. Fingers crossed that I don't have the markers too or mummy says that we wont be able to get a new kitten.

It has been a very sad time in our house. Last Friday big Jimmy passed away. Purdy (my dog) was best friends with him and she has been very sad. I have been trying hard to make her feel better but everyone still feels very sad.

It has been a worrying time for the last few weeks. My big brother Jimmy (who has decided he really doesn't like me) hasn't been very well.

He's been to the doctors and had lots of tests done but the nice lady isn't sure what is wrong with him. he has lost lots of weight and is extra grumpy.
