We are really lucky to have been chosen as Toys r Us Toyologists. We have been sent some pretty amazing toys - but can you imagine how excited I was when I saw this in the box? I love Lego and I love Star Wars.

3D Drawing Pad review

Now this is what I call a cool drawing pad...

This 3D drawing pad kit from John Lewis is totally awesome. I love it. I did freak my mum out a bit by drawing a bar - but she did say that it made her feel like she'd drunk a whole bottle of wine when she put the glasses on which is a result as it saved her like £10 on a bottle of wine!

I love Halo and I love Lego - I know that this technically isn't Lego but come on...... you know what I mean.
I should say that I wasn't sent these Mega Bloks toys - I bought them with my own, hard earned cash!

The first time I used this it did drive up the wall but I think that the batteries might be a bit flat. That's not too good though because batteries are expensive.

diary of a wimpy kid The movie!

The story starts off at last Christmas when my big brother Ethan of daily camera 365 gave me a set of books called The Diary of a wimpy kid. As soon as I read the first one I got really into them.
When the new Diary of a wimpy kid dog days came out I started reading it right away.

The other day we were in town and dad said if were good then he would take us to see the new movie and guess what? We actually were goos - so we went to see it.

Everyone wanted to see it and we were all very exited. The movie is just like the book, so I thought it was awesome. When it finished Betty and Dad were still awake so it must of been be good!

The film is about a young boy called Greg. It's about his life, his best freind and his worst enemy and about his first days in middle school and about him trying to bee cool.

I give diary of a wimpy kid a Totally Sonny rating of 10. You should check it out.

Having a blog is pretty cool when you get sent things to review and last week my mum got sent a bumper box of goodies from Weetabix. They have a new Chocolate Weetabix cereal coming out and we got to taste it first.

Mum actually surprised us with it all which was a very nice start to the day and even though I have never really fancied Weetabix I decided to tuck in and give it a go.

I was pleasantly surprised. Just the right amount of chocolate to make it taste really good.

Proof is in the after buy mum said and you will be happy to know that we are now well into our third box. Downside is that mum doesn't always remember to buy milk - so that's something that she needs to work on. But I give new Chocolate Weetabix a Totally Sonny rating of 8/10.

In case you wondered this is not us looking bright and cheery in this picture (and our kitchen is so not that tidy!).

I know that I said I was back - and well now I really am... well not really today but kind of. Today I am handing my blog over to my really good friend Callum to post a review of something that he has been testing.... So here he is..

Hi, my name is Callum and I am 9 years old.

I have never written a blog before, but today I am!

A while ago, my mum said to me that this www.loudenough.com company were asking kids to test some new earphones (they are ones that go in your ears, not on top of them!) and as I am a kid who plays music ALL the time and the psp, I thought I would give them a go!

What my mum forgot to mention tho is that these earphones have a limit to how loud they can go. BUMMER I thought!

My mum thought it would be good for me to try tho, as I always play my music loud enough for her to hear, 2 rooms away! haha..

So, the earphones arrived the post a few days later, I was so excited as I never get any post just for me!

I whipped them out the box and started playing with them.

they were blue! (my fave colour) but they do come in 3 different colours, plum (pink, yuk!) mint (green) and of course, my fave BLUE! which they call blueberry!

To make sure they fit in your ears properly they came with 3 different sized squidgy things which make them fit perfectly, I have big ears, so needed the biggest size, I did test out all 3 sizes to see which fitted the best though! they also come with cool carry case which looks like a pod!

I got my iPod and tested them out. True to what they say, they didnt go as loud as my iPod ones do, but they are still loud enough for me to enjoy the music (and to stop the shouting I can hear from my brothers and baby sister!)

The music sounded really cool too, was like I was there in a concert listening to my favourite bands! Which is pretty awesome!

I then wanted to try them in my psp. The wires on the earphones are really long too, not too long, but long enough for me to play the psp without having to hold the psp close to me.

The sound was again still loud enough for me to hear and enjoy but without being too loud.

Also, the headphones didnt fall out my ears ONCE, which is really cool as I’m always wiggling about when playing games!

I think the reason why the company designed these earphones to be only a certain loud, but not too loud is that everyone plays their music too loud and that can damage your ears and your eardrums. If you do it all the time it can make you go deaf when your older. Which would be really bad.

My mum has this thing called tinnitus and she is sure that she has it from listening to really loud (rubbish) music when she was a kid! I don't want to damage my ears, so now instead of listening to my music with my normal earphones, I am now ONLY going to use the loud enough ones!

I am so excited that they let me keep the earphones too, I did offer to give them back, as they are quite expensive £29.99RRP but online you can get them for about £19.99 which is WAY LOADS of pocket money, I’d be saving for ages to buy my own!

My mum said I have to say that they were given to me free if I write this review. SO thank you, thank you, thank you to LOGITECH people! I am so grateful that my mum told me about the earphones and that she asked if I could check them out as I really do like them.

A few facts about the earphones:

They are designed for kids over 6 years old, which is great for me, I’m 9! but my 7 year old brother says he can use them too, NO WAY I say, get your own!!

They come with 1 year limited warranty, which means (I think) that they will fix them or replace them if something goes wrong when you use them, but NOT if you drop them in the bath or worse, the toilet! (Hahaha)

Things have been a little crazy for the last couple of months and I have finally won the battle of the computer for once!

I have a stack of reviews waiting to share and I'm going to kick off with telling you all about Genius Pads....

Genius Pads are basically giant sticky post it notes that you can do anything with. My preference is for drawing but then I worked out that mum would actually be able to make very long reminder lists on them (and she needs that!).

They are a good thing to buy for your friends I think. Something a bit different.

They cost £7 for one pack and the people that make them plant 10 rubber trees for every tree used when they make a pad.

Can't say fairer than that.

I really love my big brother Ethan but he's away at university and I don't get to see him much anymore. It's just not the same without him to play with.
So can you imagine how excited I was when Mum said that we were going to visit him. I was dying to get him to try the Chubby Bunny Challenge because he has a really big mouth!

It has been my half term this week and mum and dad have both been really busy with their work so I have been busy with some new Lego projects and trying to help them as much as I can.

On Thursday dad packed up all of the clothes that he has been making and went off to London in the car. He's going to be away for a few days at London Fashion Week. Its strange not having him here, mum is the one that usually goes away with her work.

I had a really good day yesterday - me and mum and the girls went to The Baby Show in London. The Baby Show isn't really my thing but I was really excited about meeting up with my friend Calum.

When we got up in the morning there had been so much snow that all of the bamboo in our garden had fallen down onto mums car. It was really, really deep. Way more snow than we had over Christmas and it took ages to get it off the car.

We met loads of people at the show - @soph4soph with Roni, little Soph and my best buddie Calum, @Lolas_Mum and baby LG @Flyingstartmag and Mick... the current Chubby Bunny challenge champ (he has a really big mouth, but then he is really tall!), @cafebebe @easidream with her scary fake baby Oliver, @annabelkarmel @leahstaplehurst and her really cute little girl (she loved me.... but then all the little girls at Biba's dance school love me too...).

I gave away loads of my TotallySonny.com stickers and badges which was cool.

This is me and baby LG...I make her laugh!

After the show we went over to Fashion Week to see dad which was cool. His dresses look brilliant and he had bought me the Avitar game for my DSi so that made me doubly happy.

It was late when we got home and we got ready for bed whilst mum checked her email. I was about to get into bed when she shouted me.

She'd had an email to say that my blog had been on another site. I was so proud...

You can read it here on Parentdish. I love my blog and the lady that wrote about me is right. Blogging has made my writing much better. I have learnt how to properly explain things, I don't rush liked I used to and it has made me much more confident about things. I think that it's a really good thing to do.

I have to say sorry for being so rubbish since Christmas but we have been so busy.... and I have all of these top TotallySonny blog posts in my mind but no time to do anything about them. Then mum told me about vlogging...... interesting I thought.... and I was challenged by my mums friend Claire (and her big sailor boyfriend... though I would like to say now that my best friend's dad is an ex England ruby player and he is 6'7", so I am thinking that Mr Claire doesn't look that tall when he is sitting down. I used to think that Charlie's dad was as big as a Slveen... but I was only 5 then!) to take part in the Chubby Bunny challenge.

I couldn't say no.....

Mum says that I have to say that for safety reasons this should not be attempted without full adult supervision because you can choke and die. She didn't tell me that before I stuffed all of those marshmallows in but then she was looking out for me - so don't think she is a bad mum - cause she isn't. OK?

It has been a really busy time for me over the last few weeks. I had lots of things happening at school and we also finally got to bring our new kitten home a couple of weeks ago. She is really my mums cat but we all think that she is really cool. It took us ages to come up with a name for her. In the end my funny little sister came up with something that we all liked..... Cheryl! Yes, after Cheryl Cole!

She is a Cornish Rex and she doesn't feel like a normal cat at all - she is really silky and slightly crazy but totally fab.

We had a really great Christmas day yesterday. My big brother was home, I had some cool presents and we got to watch the new episode of Dr Who. I'm not happy that we have to wait a whole week for the next episode though. I would have liked it more if the whole thing had been on at once. I think that the Master's new powers have been borrowed from Hero's but other than that I thought it rocked.

I had lots of things for Christmas - but my favorite has to be my Nintendo DSi Nintendo DSi Handheld Console (White)

It does loads of stuff that the old DS doesn't do. The camera on it is really good and you can also go on to the internet and download apps from the Nintendo site. A bit like the stuff you can do on the Apple iPhone. I think that Mum and Dad will be happy that i am not downloading things onto their phones now.

I would say that a DSi is a really good thing to buy for any child. There are lots of games for boys and girls of all ages and ones that teach you things too. I had the Playmobil: Pirates (Nintendo DS)game and I will post a review of it when i have had more time to play it. Funny Girl had the Peppa Pig: The Game and ModelGirl had Junior Brain Trainer DS (Nintendo DS)and America's Next Top Model (Nintendo DS). I will get them to post reviews in a couple of weeks.

The difficult thing is that we have so much new stuff that it's difficult to concentrate on anything for too long!
