PC Fixes

So many times I get asked the same question, "Tobi, can you teach me how to remove viruses?" or, "Tobi, can you remove this virus from my computer?" It honestly gets a little boring, and honestly I kind of hate it. I am not a walking repair man nor am your personal teacher. I decided to make it easy though and thought I would give you some advice.

Step 1:

I would recommend getting WindoFix It's a nifty little piece of software that will; eliminate PC crashes and freezes, fix random error messages, remove pesky pop-ups, and get rid of blue screens. I always say a good registry cleaner is the best tool you can have, because many little problems can be solved simply by this one piece of software.

Step 2:

Get a product called Noadware Adware is that pesky stuff that you get from browsing the internet and going to those "unmentionable" sites. Sometimes you can even get them from doing google searches and clicking on something that seems legitimate and turns out being the opposite. If you have ever had adware/malware/spyware you will know how annoying it is! Most of the time your computer simply slows down and you get LOTS of ads for pornography or for a fake anti-virus program popping up in your internet browser. Seriously this is needed!

Step 3:

Get Microantivirus Seriously if you are not running a good anti-virus program along with your Noadware you are only doing half the job! This program does the rest of job of protecting your computer from viruses, pop-ups, spam, and it includes a firewall (if you choose to install the firewall, many times it's just overkill at that point)

There you go guys that's your three steps to having a cleaner, and faster performing computer! If you have any questions please feel free to post comments and ask away! There isn't too much software that I pay for, but these three are on the list of software that I own, because without them you should NOT be on the internet!

It's Been A While

I feel like it has been forever since I have let anyone know what has been going on in my life of clicking ads! Let me give you guys a little update.
Bux.to:
It has been over a month and I haven't gotten my third payment yet! They were very prompt and quick with my first two payments of $70 and $28 I got them within 48 hours. Apparently they are doing a bunch of backlogged payments so I am still keeping my fingers crossed
NeoBux:
Wow! I am pretty pleased so far with this site. I now have 13 people clicking for me and have enough to buy 3 more every week! If I keep going at this pace I will be able to make $20+ cashouts every day in no time!

I have yet to request a cashout but I am close to the $10 mark that you need to cashout only $0.92 more to go! With this I will be buying 5 people to click for me. According to their site 5 people clicking gets you roughly $17.50 a day. I did the math and that is very acurrate they took into account people not clicking. For me $17.50 is pretty good because that is $122.50 a week. With that I can do one of three things 1) I can either buy more people to click to make me more money 2) Cashout and pay my piles of bills 3) Advertise my blog and help spread the word about their site while in turn making me more money! Ever since I got laid of from work at Best Buy I have been more focused on school. Unfortunately, this means less time for work aka less money. I decided to go on the internet and try my hand at making money online. The following info that I am going to give for FREE is stuff that I have found out myself via trial and error. Also, I found places that were charging up $50 just for these couple bits of info!!! So, if you got laid off from your work and need some money or if you just want some EASY extra money on the side continue reading!

PTC (Pay To Click)
These are sites that pay you to click on and view advertisements. You usually have to sit on the site for 30 seconds before it registers with your account that you have indeed looked at the site.
You will get a check mark notifying you that is has been registered with the site. What I usually do is throw on "Scrubs" or "The Office" and start clicking and watching TV while I wait the 30 seconds.

My FAVORITE site so far is Bux.to. I have made the most amount with this site and I really like them. You will find negative reviews on the internet about them (apparently the had some rough times in the past, but this all got worked out) but I have received the most money from them and they have the most ads aka the most earning potential! I purchased 100 referrals from them for $98 and get paid $10 a day. I have already been paid $70 and I plan on buying even more referrals when I get more money. I have also paid for the Premium Membership for one year. This just gets you more money per click and more advertisements! If you want to make the most money I'd recommend doing the same. Another trusted site is Bux.gs. This site has fewer ads than bux.to, but is still a very trusted site when it comes to PTC sites. I have yet to cash out with them and I haven't purchased any referrals yet, but plan to in the future. The cool thing about bux.gs is you can refer someone to advertise their site and get paid for each click their site gets. Let's say your friend is starting a new blog or internet store for cameras. If you tell them to advertise on bux.gs to get the word out about their site you get get paid for that! Pretty cool I think! After each ad you will have to click an image but after 30 seconds it will tell you which image to click on. This is to insure you are not using a cheat program (explained more below) To sign up just click the Bux.gs banner

JokerBux is kinda like Bux.gs, there are a limited amount of ads to click (until you become premium), except that there is no way to refer advertisers to program. When you sign up right now they credit your account with $2 just to get you going! One thing you defiantly need to watch out for though is the "cheat link" There are programs out there that automatically click on links so that way you can make money while not doing anything. I DO NOT recommend these programs, because they will automatically click this link and you WILL get your account banned. Remember to read each link before clicking on it so that way you don't accidentally click the "cheat link." To sign up just click the JokerBux banner!

NeoBux is one of those PTC that people just swear by, so I thought I'd try it out as well. This site is a lot nicer and a lot more professional than the aforementioned sites, but they have a draw back. You can't get personal referrals (aka you get your friends to sign up and start clicking) until you have been a member for 30 days and have clicked 100 ads. The cool thing about them though is they pay more than the other sites per click. So, even though there are less ads to click and it's a little harder to get your friends in it you have the potential to make more money! Also, they give you a discount the first two times you purchase referrals from them! 100 referrals only costs you $25 the first two times! That's a steal in my book! Conclusion:
And there you have it everyone! That is the exact same info that people pay $50 and more for all for free!!! With all of these sites you do need to create an Alert Pay account. BlackBerry Storm Pros and Cons

As promised here is a list of the pros and cons I have found using my Storm since release.

Pros
1. Simple BB UI if you are familiar with previous BB devices then you catch on to this one fast
2. I really enjoy the "click" it gives the feeling of a keyboard that BB's are known for and makes typing on the unit much easier compared to the iPhone
3. There is a copy and paste feature
4. Updates are OTA (over the air) so there is no need to plug the phone in to your PC if you don't want to. (I still HIGHLY recommend to plugging it in to your PC every now and then to do periodic backups)
5. Unlocked GPS that means I can use any free GPS programs that I like on the device
6. MMS so I can send video and audio files to friend on their handhelds and not have to email it to them and hope they are near a computer.
7 . Upgradeable memory so if I run out I can always add more

Cons
1. There is lag when opening programs and switching to landscape view (a lot of these issues got resolved with the update, but there are still enough complaints to make it a con)
2. Even though there is a copy and paste feature I have yet to be able to get the highlight feature to work properly. Can someone enlighten me?
3. The screen does become a bit loose with use. Will this get worse over an extended period of use? I'll keep you updated, but hey there is a reason I got an accidental damage service plan from Best Buy on the phone.

Remember these are my personal list of pro's and con's that I found while using the phone. If there are any I should add to the list let me know.

BlackBerry Storm

I got my BlackBerry Storm today (Friday November 21st 2008)
I must say that I am very happy with it. I was fortunate enough to get the last one that the local Best Buy that I work at had. There is a bit of delay but nothing that I am not happy about. I upgraded to the new .75 OS and everything is running even smother than before. If you have a Storm and you are still using .65 don't return it wait for the OTA (over the air) update from Verizon you will be very happy that you did.
