Venus Music and Arts festival is a three day, two night camping festival featuring over 100 artists from complimenting genres and mixed media of expression! Festival goers will enjoy fire artist competitions, workshops, graffiti paint exhibition, and art market. Van Hoy Farms, in scenic Harmony, NC, features amenities such as a swimming pool, showers, primitive camping, a general store, and 80 RV hook-ups! Come and be a part of this landmark event for the Carolinas!

Venus will break new ground for the arts scene in the carolinas by bringing together artists from the likes of Charles Feelgood to Biolumenesence and Capital J!
Huge Visuals!

Peter Parker, one of the nations leading visual artists, will produce a world class visual display that will be unique to Venus! Along with Peter”s world class visuals, Archedream will perform live on stage as they amuze festival goers with their costume and dance!
Art Exhibitions!

Artists from many different media will be on exhibition at the Venus art market. Artists from as far as California will exhibit paintings, sketches, glass, and metal that will represent the cutting edge of the national art scene!

Tickets are non-refundable and photo ID is required for all will call ticket pick-ups.
No Age Restrictions

All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian and sign in at the gate.
Alcohol

Alcohol is not allowed to be brought into the festival. Beer gardens will be at the festival for purchase and consumption of beer only. No liquor and no illegal drugs will be tolerated as this is an all age’s event.
Food

Food vendors will be on site to offer refreshments.

The Venue is a camping facility that includes a swimming pool, showers, store for necessities, a 12,000 person capacity covered amphitheatre, and beautiful fields and streams. Guests will be allowed to camp for the festival either by primitive means or RV.

Reid Speed began her DJ career in the New York City drum & bass underground. As a teenage raver full of passion for music she bought her turntables in early 1996 and began playing out less than a year later. Her early sets generated curiosity as one of few female DJs at the time but Reid quickly came to earn respect for her skills in the highly competitive NYC scene.

Over the course of just 2 years, LJ MTX has quickly become one of the most respected and recognized names to hail from the Washington, DC area. From the North or the South...

* Take I-26 to Exit 40 (Old Exit 9, Asheville Regional Airport Exit).
* Take 280 West towards Brevard (go past the airport).
* Go exactly 4.5 miles from the Airport Road Exit and turn right on South Mills River Road. It's the next right past the turn for North Mills River Campground.
* Stay on South Mills River Road for 5 miles to the dead end.
* Turn right on the newly paved (Watagnee Trail)...
you'll see the Deerfields Sign

Come up the Watagnee Trail for .3 mile. Stay straight where the road narrows (bear right of the Deerfields Sign) and you'll drive through the Deerfields entrance. Continue up the driveway for .7 mile to the Cabin\Lake area.
