Izmir Ataturk Museum Located in Ataturk Street, 1. Kordon themuseumwas built by carpet merchant Takfor Efendi as a house in 1875-1880, It wasnationalized after abandoned by its owner on 9 September 1922, After entering Izmir, the Turkish Army used the building as its headquarters.

The museum is constituted of a basement, The ground floor is paved by large marble tiles and the hall is covered by a 34.5 square metres carpet from Usak., first floor and roof. On the first floor there are rooms which were used by Atatürk; a conference hall, dining room and bathroom library, study hall, bedroom, guest room, hair- dressing room, waiting room, guard room.

The Topkapı Palace Museum was used as the centre of administration and residence of dynasty in Istanbul the capital city of the Ottoman Empire, was completed in 1473 only two decades after Fatih Sultan Mehmet conquered the city. Members of the Ottoman dynasty inhabited in the palace until they moved to the Bosphorus Palaces in the 19th century.

The Sadberk Hanım Museum is a private museum located at the Bosporus in Büyükdere, Istanbul, Turkey, which was established by the Vehbi Koç Foundation in memory of Vehbi Koç’s deceased wife Sadberk whith type of Archaeology and ethnography .

The Sadberk Hanım Museum occupies two separate buildings. The original building is a three-story (plus an attic) wooden mansion that is generally believed to have been built in the late 19th century and whose architecture was inspired by European vernacular traditions. The building, constructed of wood and lathe-and-plaster on a masonry foundation, was known as the "Azeryan Yalisi" or "Azeryan Yali".

The building was purchased by the Koç family in 1950 and was used by them as a summerhouse until the decision to convert it into a museum was taken in 1978. The conversion to a museum was carried out between 1978 and 1980 according to a restoration project that had been prepared by Sedat Hakkı Eldem. It opened its doors to the public on October 14, 1980 with the Sadberk Koç collection on display.

The Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology was established in The Bodrum Castle in 1964, the Turkish Government decided to turn the castle into a museum. This has become the Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology, It is the biggest of its kind devoted to underwater archaeology.

The Antalya Museum or Antalya Archeological Museum is one of Turkey's largest museums, located in Konyaaltı, Antalya .
The museum was closed to visitors because of the great need of renovation and restoration in 1982. Following the restoration and renovation carried out by the General Directorate of Ancient Works and Museums, it was reopened in April 1985 in its new approach, and organized to allow an understanding based on the contemporary museum.
The museum has 13 display halls,a children's section and open galleries. Works of art, are generally presented chronologically and according to their subjects.

Şanlıurfa is located in the southeast of Turkey . Şanlıurfa (often simply referred to Urfa) is a city in southeastern Turkey. It was first named Urhai (in Armenian, or Orhai, in Aramaic) and Edessa (or Edessa), and now Riha or Şanlıurfa in Kurdish .

Places of interest

The alleged birthplace of the prophet Abraham – a cave to the south of the lake

Urfa castle – built in antiquity, the current walls were constructed by the Abbasids in 814AD.

The legendary Pool of Sacred Fish (Balıklıgöl) where Abraham was thrown into the fire by Nimrod. The pool is in the courtyard of the mosque of Halil-ur-Rahman, built by the Ayyubids in 1211 and now surrounded by attractive gardens designed by architect Merih Karaaslan. The courtyard is where the fishes thrive. A local legend says seeing a white fish will open the door to the heavens.

Rızvaniye Mosque – a more recent (1716) Ottoman mosque, adjoining the Balıkligöl complex.

'Ayn Zelîha – A source nearby the historical center, named after Zulaykha, a follower of Abraham.

climat and weather Black Sea region has an oceanic climate with high and evenly distributed rainfall the year round. At the coast, summers are warm and humid, and winters are cool and damp. The Black Sea coast receives the greatest amount of precipitation and is the only region of Turkey that receives high precipitation throughout the year. The eastern part of that coast averages 2,500 millimeters annually which is the highest precipitation in the country. Snowfall is quite common between the months of December and March, snowing for a week or two, and it can be heavy once it snows. The water temperature in the whole Turkish Black Sea coast is always cool and fluctuates between 8° and 20°C throughout the year.
