Voter Information Letters (VILs) will be arriving in the mail during the period of October 5 to 16, 2026. If you have not received a VIL or require assistance with voting, please visit the Town Hall Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, 30 King Street East during the following dates and times:

Monday, October 19 – 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Tuesday, October 20 to Friday, October 23, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Saturday, October 24 and Sunday October 25, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Monday, October 26, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Traffic Notice | October 13 – 16

Traffic lanes on King Street East, from Charles Street to Carmichael Drive, will be temporarily shifted and/or closed for the application of a protective surface treatment to all 3 driving lanes. Follow all posted signage, traffic control measures, and detour routes. At least one entrance to all businesses on King Street East will remain open throughout the work; however, access may be temporarily limited at times due to construction activities. Line painting will be completed the following week to ensure proper adhesion to the treated roadway surface.

The Public Works Yard has re-opened temporarily for leaf and yard waste

The Public Works Yard at 665 Charles Street North has re-opened temporarily for leaf and yard waste disposal until October 31, 2026. Every Wednesday and Saturday 8am-12noon.

On September 1st, MECP granted an extension for the acceptance of leaf and yard waste until October 31st. The Yard is accessed off James A. Brennan Rd. Brush is NOT accepted.
