We apologize for any inconvenience; however, the health unit has identified higher levels of ecoli in the waters at Joel stone beach and will be posting cautionary signage use at own risk.

The includes the beach area only.

The splash pad remains open located at 135 Water Street and is open 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The washrooms remain open from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

We will continue to monitor the situation with the health unit and will update as required.

Nomination Period for the upcoming 2026 Municipal and School Board Election is open from May 1st, 2026, up to and included Friday, August 21, 2026 at 2:00 PM. If you would like to run for and hold a Municipal or School Board office visit the Town's Webpage 2026 Municipal Election. Appointments are required to file Nomination Papers with the Returning Officer or Deputy Returning Officer.
