The 2026 Gananoque Horticultural Society Garden Tour will take place on Sunday, June 28 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Guests are invited to explore seven private gardens throughout Gananoque. This self-guided tour offers a unique opportunity to meet garden owners, gain inspiration, and gather practical gardening tips and ideas.

Following the tour, attendees are welcome to join members of the Gananoque Horticultural Society from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Bar Petunia (47 King Street East) for a social gathering. Garden-themed cocktails and mocktails will be available as guests mingle and connect.

Admission:
Tickets are $15.00 per person and may be purchased at the Thousand Islands and Gananoque Visitor Centre, 10 King Street East, Gananoque.
Tickets go on sale at the start of June.

In the month of June, you’ll be amazed by the outsize presence of peonies in the Gananoque Horticultural Society Park at 21 Main Street.

From a tree peony, with large, extravagantly frilled pale pink blooms, and an Itoh peony, with dark pink, single flowers to the perennial favourite, double pink ‘Sarah Bernhardt, you’ll discover more than 20 varieties of peonies in the Park, all commanding a second look.

The Canadian Red Cross Babysitting course covers everything from managing difficult behaviours to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter. Babysitting promises to deepen and enhance the responsibility that older youth feel when caring for younger children. This updated curriculum, complete with new science, also provides improved learning when it comes to giving the appropriate care in the event of an emergency.

The smallest community to host Ribfest in Canada welcomes over 8,000 visitors every year. The Rotary & Lions Clubs of Gananoque give 100 percent of proceeds back to the community.
