The Gananoque & District Humane Society is holding a fundraiser in Lansdowne at the Lansdowne Community Centre, Jessie St. on Saturday Jan 21 from 11 am to 2:30 pm. It’s our 3rd annual Winter Warm-up and Chili Cook-off and what’s new this year is the chili contest instead of just a chili lunch, live music by R-Banned, and a snow date (Jan 28). We were pretty well blown way by a blizzard last year!

Come in from the cold, socialize, browse the bake sale and book sale and pick up some treats while listening to music, and have our $8.00 lunch which allows you to sample all the chilies and vote for your fave.

We’re also looking for teams to compete in the chili cook-off, and the winner gets fame and a cash prize. To register your team please email me, Sylvia de Leeuw at deleeuwphysio@gmail.com (613-923-5098) by January 15. Registration cost is $15.00.
