Sections of pathways within Joel Stone Heritage Park will be temporarily closed while the Town and its contractor complete concrete restoration work.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Please avoid the work area and follow all posted signage for your safety while construction is underway.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;There is currently an unplanned service disruption. We apologize for any inconvenience; however, the health unit has identified higher levels of e coli in the waters at Joel stone beach and will be posting cautionary signage use at own risk. The estimated time of the service disruption is unknown currently:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;From:&lt;/strong&gt; August 7&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;To:&lt;/strong&gt; Unknown, 2026&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The disruption includes: the beach area only, Splash pad remains open located at 135 Water Street; The Splash Pad will be open 8am-8:00pm. The washrooms remain open 8am-11:00pm. We will continue to monitor the&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;
situation with the health unit and will update as required.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The following alternative services are available:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Joel Stone Beach has been cleared and reopened for use by Southeast Health unit, Signs are removed and beach is open for use.   <title>MTO Construction of Highway 401</title>

&lt;p&gt;Louis W. Bray Construction Limited has been retained by the Ministry of Transportation to perform construction work on Hwy. 401 at the county road 32 underpass under contract number 2022-4009.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As part of this contract, we will be performing deficiency repair work to the underside of the Cty. Rd. 32 underpass with construction activities commencing on Sunday August 9th and will be completed by August 21st.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The following changes to traffic flow are anticipated:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;ON RAMPS &amp;amp; HWY. 401&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;From approximately August 9, 2026 to August 21, 2026, there will be nightly ramp closures (from approximately 7pm to 6am) of the NS-W Ramp (West Bound on-ramp). The closures may not occur every night and advanced notification signs will be posted in advance of any closures.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;During these nightly ramp closures, Hwy. 401 will be reduced to 1 though lane in the West Bound direction. - The Hwy. 401 off ramps (E-NS &amp;amp; W-NS) will remain open at all times.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;COUNTY ROAD 32&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;There will be no impact to traffic on County Rd. 32.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

  <title>Property Taxes | Due August 31</title>

&lt;p&gt;The 2026 final tax bills have been issued. The 1st installment is due August 31st, and the 2nd is due October 30th. If you have not received your tax bill, or have questions regarding the bill, please contact &lt;a href="mailto:taxesandrevenue@gananoque.ca"&gt;taxesandrevenue@gananoque.ca&lt;/a&gt; or (613) 382-2149 ext. 1114.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Payment must be received on or before the due dates noted. Failure to receive a tax bill does not exempt you from paying property taxes – late payment penalties will be added.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Enrolment in a pre-authorized payment plan ensures on-time payments. Residents can take advantage of the two interest-free, pre-authorized payment options. Pre-authorized payment plans are recalculated twice annually to reflect changes in assessed value and tax rate. A void cheque or pre-authorized debit (PAD) form is required, and accounts must be paid up to date to be eligible to enrol.&lt;/p&gt;
