New Moon Opening Night Sales

The New Moon opening night sales have been record breaking! After many months of teasers, marketing ideas and a huge base of blood-thirsty fans, it was now time to check how well it went in the box office.

Twilight: New Moon made $26.27 million in sales made in 3,154 theaters. The previous record was held by the Harry Potter saga: “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” with $22.2 million dollars!

Could it break the one day record of the Dark Knight? ($67.1 million?) It seems it will easily get to that figure!

Miley Cyrus Tour Bus Crash

The Miley Cyrus bus crash is one of those news that you may discard as a hoax, but it isn’t. Although Miley was not in the bus at the moment of the accident, we have to report that sadly one person died. According to initial reports it seems the driver was the one who lost his life.

Around a year ago rumors of Miley ending up dead in a car accident flew all over the Web.

The accident took place in Virginia; the tour bus flipped over at around 8:00 on !-85 in Dinwiddie, 40 miles south of Richmond.

The rumor of “Fidel Castro dead” have started again, as you may know they come up from time to time, this time his death has been linked to nephelococcygia, your new word of the day!

What is Nephelococcygia? According to Wikipedia:

The act of seeking and finding shapes in clouds.

Now, this of course, doesn’t cause death by itself, but the rumor says that Fidel Castro’s death arrived when he couldn’t breathe while he was staring at the clouds. What a weird rumor! Now, Fidel Castro isn’t dead, he may be looking at clouds now as a matter of fact…

Today, November 18, is the birthday of Mickey Mouse, perhaps the most popular cartoon character of all time and the image of Disney. He was born on 1928 so today he turns 81!

This same day in 1928, Steamboat Willie was released along with synchronized sound. You may have seen the short movie in which Mickey appears in black an white. Over the time his appearance would change.

There will be a special exhibition at the Walt Disney Family Museum with the earliest drawings of Mickey Mouse, vintage merchandise and many more.

Miss Universe S3X Tape

Miss Universe Japan and Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago are currently under the ye of the storm after a video of the two – plus a man. Has been put up in the In the Internet with the name “Miss Universe s3x tape. The name of Miss Universe is Hiroko Mima, and she held the crown in 2008. Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago’s name is Anya Ayoung-Chee, also form the same year.

That’s one lucky guy! Well he has been identified as Anya’s boyfriend Wyatt Gallery. Miss universe organizers say that the tape:

“was apparently [taken] eight months after the pageant and neither were the reigning titleholder. The photographer is NOT a Miss Universe staffer so we have nothing to say or any involvement.”

After the big number of searches yesterday for Walmart Black Friday 2009 ads, comes another wave of searches for Target Black Friday 2009 ads. Everybody is getting excited with the big offers you will be able to find on Friday.

There are many sites online that claim to have the prices on items for sale on Target, but we have not yet gotten any official communication from the store. We’ll have to wait a little more to get confirmation and post the info, but one thing is sure: the store will be open at 5:00am on Friday, so camp or do what you have to do to get the best deals of that day.
