TPP Internet Services team would like to acknowledge and advise of a 30 minute network availability problem for many TPP Internet shared and private services which took place this afternoon 8th February 2012, from 17:30 until 18:00 AEDT.

Customers across all product suites experienced intermittent Timeout errors on their websites and Email services. No mail was lost.

Network access has been stabilised and the system administration team is currently investigating the root cause of the problem. Further updates will be posted should any outages be required in order to implement any network changes.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the issue for our customers and their website visitors.

UPDATE: This issue was resolved by our engineers last night (30/01/2012)

Issue: Calls coming through the 1300 and local number are dropping out.

We would like to advise that we are currently investigating issues with the reseller support phone numbers and routing to agents. During this time resellers will not be able to reach support via our inbound phone numbers (1300 665 491 & +612 9215 6210)

UPDATE: 16:50 AEDT 18th January 2012

The Phone System maintenance has been extended until tomorrow morning, the 19th January 2012, and the Failover phone system will be in use until that time.

We apologise for any inconvenience this causes our customers as the Queue Position announcements do not exist on the Failover. Please contact us by email whenever possible for the moment.

An update will be posted to confirm completion of the maintenance.

The TPP Internet Support Team would like to advise of an upcoming Phone System upgrade which will take place in our Call Centre over the 17th and 18th January 2012. During this maintenance window, we will switch to our fail-over phone system at which time customers calling our office may experience interruptions during their phone calls.

Maintenance details (all times in AEDT GMT+1100)

Date and time: from 9am, Tuesday 17th January to 5:30pm Wednesday 18th January 2012

Impact: Customers calling the TPP Internet call centre numbers may experience interruptions during their calls. Calls may drop during hold or throughout conversation.

We apologise in advance for any problems during your phone contact with us over the maintenance window, and we encourage customers to email us to prevent any frustrations therefore.

TPP Internet technical services team would like to advise of an upcoming scheduled maintenance taking place tomorrow morning for the Webmail interface database on the shared hosting infrastructure.

The maintenance will result in access outage for webmail accounts.

Date and time: 7:00 to 8:00 AEDT (GMT +1100) 6th December 2011

Duration: 1 hour

Impact: Customers will be unable to login to their Webmail accounts on https://webmail.netregistry.net and webmail.domain.tld equivalents

Services affected: Webmail login interface for IMAP web access to Netregistry shared hosting email services. No email will be lost. POP and SMTP services will remain operating.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the outage, it is required in order to ensure stability the Database to prevent any data loss long term.

RESOLVED: 10:40am EDT GMT +1000

We have resolved the issue with control6 mail services, in light of this correction there is a backlog of emails that are still yet to be delivered. There will be a delay in email until all these emails are cleared from the mail queue, we anticipate a couple of hours for this process to complete.

UPDATE: 10:30am EDT GMT +1000

Our SA team has identified and resolved the mail issue on Control6.tppinternet.com.au.

No emails will be lost, however some clients may experience a delay as emails filter through over the next couple of hours.

TPP Internet Services team would like to advise that the Control6 server is currently email issues. We have had reports that some clients haven’t been able to receive mail since Saturday, and our SA team are actively investigating this issue.

TPP Internet wishes to advise that Verisign will be conducting maintenance to their servers this weekend, and during this time there will be an interruption to the availability of some .com/.net domain name services. The maintenance is at registry level, and will impact domains with these extensions across all registrars, not just TPPInternet .
