I’ve had an amazing time photographing hundreds of families and newborns over the past 9 years. There are times in life where you have to make tough choices, and I came to a fork in my path. And I had to choose to retire my photography business. Thank you from all that is within me!

It’s hard to believe that it was just last month that I photographed this family’s maternity session—and now, here he is! His mom and I go way back – I used to babysit her (which makes me feel a little old). I think she’s going to make a pretty special mommy.

All of these kiddos are cousins– and four of the five have been photographed by me for their newborn sessions, which means I’m one very lucky photographer! A lot of fun adventures await these buddies!

This special little lady recently had her baptism, and to make the occasion even more meaningful, her grandmother made this gorgeous gown for her. What a dear family heirloom this will be, knowing the love that went into making it.

And she’s learning to do lots of cool stuff now too — clapping her hands, sitting up like a pro, and crawling!

I cannot tell you how much I love this bonnet on this little peanut. Make sure you don’t miss those little painted fingernails, either. I wonder if her big sisters had anything to do with that?

All three of these sisters did newborn photo sessions with me.

I’m pretty sure their dad isn’t going to let any of them date…like ever! I don’t blame him.
