1 out of 10 investors I meet with these days, at least 6 of
them ask me about buying Gold now as the prices are lower. Is it truly low? Who
determined that it was high, so that it is quantified as low now?

It is just that we had witnessed Gold prices at 3500 a gram,
which got recorded in our mind and now when we see the prices at 2500 a gram,
it feels like it is cheap.

After a stupendous decade long rally and a false break out
in 2013, Gold began to take rest. It is into a phase of slow decline, and every
time it reaches a support zone, it will show a bounce, which will make people
feel that they have missed a good buying opportunity that was available a few
days back.

But, it will only coil back and move below the previous
lows. Unfortunately, at least people in India forget the low and are only
recording high prices in their minds. Don’t buy Gold till it has a confirmed
breakout, which may take years to come.

Gold has done something that it did not do since 1999, Gold prices have hit lower levels for the 7th consecutive week, it is the longest period that Gold is down since 1999.

By the way, if you have a requirement to buy Gold for an
occasion, please go ahead. At least for now, treating Gold as an investment
will only erode value. If there is a requirement in future for a wedding or similar occasion, invest regularly into Equity, and when the time comes for the purchase, liquidate Equity holdings and purchase Gold, this will help you get more quantity of Gold than if it was accumulated slowly, just to meet a requirement on a later date.

Please don't worry about the risk in Equity investments, Equity gives 3 times more profits than Gold, if managed well.

Similarly, Crude has also been hitting lows and it is to
some extent good news for our economy as we save precious dollars spent on
importing Crude. Compared to Gold, Crude is on a different pace. The next time
it reaches the previous lows, 2720 a barrel in Indian markets, one can see a
strong rally. Beyond certain levels, lower Crude will have counter impacts on
the economy. This said, should we keep paying higher price for this most
essential fuel? Not required, it will just hold till there is an alternate fuel
available or the environment gets adjusted to a convenient way of not using
Crude.

OMC’s are making good profits because Crude is low, HPCL is
one stock which has made 50% gains on its stock price since last 6 months, by
far a biggest gain among other OMC’s.

HPCL has another advantage too with its lube oil sales, which is giving the stock more contribution in profits.

When we meet the oldies of stock investing, there are always talks about some of their investments which they don’t remember the time they had invested in, but, now the valuation is so high. When a person hears such conversations, he immediately thinks that, if he invests in such Blue Chip stocks, he will be earning awesome profits, more important, that he is not required to do any work to earn this fancy return.

Is it true that, investing in Blue chips and leaving them for ever will fetch super doper returns?

At least I don’t agree with this term, the other day I had one of my clients who is having investment in Colgate, holding some 2000 shares currently, this investment was made in 1983 when Colgate issued shares to the public, the investment was very minimal.

Today the value of this investment is about 42 lakhs. Colgate was not a Blue Chip in the 80’s. It was a good company, it went through challenges too before it became a good stock. Once the stock became fairly priced higher, they started tracking it on a regular basis, so that, if they found it uncomfortable holding the stock, they were in a position to liquidate the holdings.

If the performance would have dropped, they would have liquidated and realized the profits, whereas the uptrend continued and so is the holding intact.

Take another case, Gujarat State Fertilizer Corp, this stock was the bluest of Blue Chips in the 90’s, it was priced at ₹40 in those days and it had all the reasons to be in the SENSEX at that time. The company had very less competition as the Fertilizer market was a regulated market, prices were dictated by the Government.

This stock moved out of SENSEX in 1996, and later the performance of the stock price was not very encouraging, though the company did fairly well on its business growth.

If someone had held on to his investment in this stock, buying a Blue and forgets it for years, today the stock price is ₹ 40. What gains were made here? Zero returns in 26 years.

Companies that belong to the regulated markets never grow in value, or the Government does not allow them to grow. Stock like NTPC, Power Grid etc., will not give any good returns, even though they are listed in the Indices of the country.

What this means is, Equity returns are the highest among any other asset class, but, the investments have to be monitored on a regular basis. Once you find that you were wrong on your decisions or the performance of the company changes, not fitting to the prevailing business environment, move out & invest the funds into a company that is doing what it has to in
the current economic environment.

There are no free lunches, you need to work for your gains.
If you are smart, you make the best.

1st Quarter results from PSU Banks were so
perfect like all of them had planned and achieved it. All the results that have
come so far have shown between 20-80% drop in profits. Bank of Baroda falls
23%, Oriental Bank 29%, PNB 41% and Dena Bank 81%. But, after this news, all
the stocks had a good rally in their stock prices; this was because estimates
from analysts were showing still higher devastation. When the actuals were a
little better than that was expected, all the shorts in the stocks scrambled
for cover. Always short covering will have a sharp reversal, but, once the
shorts are covered, reality will show up.

Fundamentally these stocks don’t have anything to cheer;
they will take few years before their balance sheets get cleaned up and for
them to show growth that will be greater than others. In this scenario, if
someone wants to invest in PSU Banks, they are sure to have bad times.

Even though these are businesses owned by the government and
are pretty safe, they are not likely to give any comparative returns when
compared to companies that have good growth in their sales and earnings.

Among a basket of stocks that are growth stocks which are in
the mid cap space and those that are owned by the Government and are big ones by numbers, if the former will give us 100%
growth and the later would give flat or negative returns, it is obvious anyone
will prefer growth. Hence, our portfolio does not have even a single Banking
stock.

BTT Diversified Investment portfolio achieves 7.54% profits
in the month of July 2015. By returns it stands 2nd in the
diversified category of investments against mutual fund performance in the same
category. ICICI Prudential Exports Fund tops the month with 8.23% gains and
HDFC Core Satellite stands third.

The strength of stocks like Tata Elxsi, Sonata Software,
Take, Indo Count & Welspun Industries with their 40 to above 100% gains in
the month of July 2015 contributed to 7.54% profits in our portfolio for the
month of July as against the 2.86% returns by the Benchmark NSE 500 Index.

ITC Chairman, Y C Deweshwar has sold 90% of his holdings in
the company in the financial 2014-15. An indication that the business at ITC is
going to slow down and it has got fairly reflected in the stock’s performance. Deweshwar
has announced to step down as Chairman of ITC from 2017, and the next suitor
for the Chairmanship is said to be Kurush Grant.

The beauty was that, even the incoming Chairman has parred
his holdings in the last financial year.

ITC has been losing volumes in its mainstay cigarettes
business. As the

duties have been on the rise, which has been increased nearly
300% since 2 years to control consumption of cigarettes, the actual situation
is that, the increased duty is not bringing down consumption. In fact there is
something unique happening here, foreign brands have begun to get smuggled into
India and are available at a lesser price.

In the process of cleaning up the economy, India has been
losing around 7000-14000 crores of revenues due to lower consumption of
national brands.

ITC stock was a must have in any portfolio. But, today after
muted performance numbers and pressure in its FMCG business, it is time to say
good bye to this all-time favourite.

We have exited our small exposure in ITC, which we had been
holding since long, we have made small gains, but, it is truly not worth
writing when compared to the earnings other growth stocks have made in the same
period.

Eicher Motors has grown more than 300%, Page Industries has
grown more than 200% in the same period and some Mid ca stocks like Hitachi,
Ceat, JK Tyres have done triple digit growth. When there is an opportunity to
grow our investment in three digits, holding on to ITC with a long term
stability and earning near to flat returns will not justify any portfolio.

EPFO organisation has began their investments in the Equity markets, to invest upto 15% of the corpus into Equity. To start with they will be doing it though ETF's only and they have opted to invest in the PSU ETF's. The confidence that our decision makers have on the PSU's is enormous, while the PSU's are deemed to be the worst wealth growers. The EPFO feels that they will be safe with PSU's, & in fact this feature of safety and the fear of losses are the reason why Insurance investments are giving the lowest returns.
But, to some extent, safety is required as the funds are required to meet emergencies, else the confidence on the whose system will diminish.
Soon, with the experience of having better returns from Equity will help them take the decision to buy direct equities and also into companies that are doing well and not only into PSU's
With about 1.00 lakh crores coming into EPFO per annum, in few years from now,
Indian Equity markets will be a behemoth on their own very soon & need not be dependent on FII's for money to fuel the markets and not fear about the major sell offs that FII's do at one clip.
At the lowest allowed exposure of 5% of the corpus per annum itself will bring in 30K crores into the capital markets.
Returns on PPF investments will now show an uptick and this will fuel competition for advisors & fund managers to show better return possibilities on their managed funds to have an edge and have bigger AUM's. All these competition will improve the quality and eliminate weaker hands, all of it is good news on the whole.

KKR invested ₹930 Crores to acquire 20% stake into JBF Industries, the company that is into Polyester value chain products from polyester chips to yarns and films. Now companies have a better financing options apart from banks, debt and capital markets. World class companies get capital from this route and it helps some companies think about big expansions or even re-start some of their old shelved operations. KKR has also investing in a cement project in Gujarat.

We had invested into JBF in November 2014, picked up 1% exposure as the stock came in our ranking tables at ₹225, today the stock price is above ₹300, giving us 33% profit on our investment in 10 months.
Looks like packaging business is doing well, our investments in SRF, another Polyester film manufacturer has doubled in the last one year. And recently Huhtamaki PPL also got into our portfolio at Rs. 240, which is today at 310, providing close to 30% profits in just 3 months from investing.
Even Cosmo Films has done a good run in the markets, it was a very recent addition into our portfolio at 120 in July 2015, at today's price of 174, this investment has fetched us 45% profits in just one month.

Our research has proved that being invested the top mutual fund always, churning the portfolio by taking out under performing ones and replacing it with a top fund gives us an edge to have return on invest higher than the senses,

This strategy works at all periods, but needs discipline to monitor the position on a regular basis. We at Bravisa Temple Tree strive to give our customers an experience that gives them so much comfort, they only have to track the performance and be happy about the growth.

Can there be another investment class which has such low entry levels and the option to accumulate your savings through smaller monthly investments. The advantages of SIP is that if the investment is not overburdened as we payout, over a period you will realise the magic of having a good corpus.

Following is the performance report of our advisory based investment in the top funds in comparison to the Nifty performance. At all levels, our funds have fared better -

So, invest in the best funds and out perform the broad markets always.

As the broad markets get into correction mood, the top
Mutual Funds still stayed positive. The current ranking table shows clear
strength in the Technology space, followed by the service sector funds. Many
investors shy away from sector funds because of the losses that the sector as a
whole would face in the eventuality of something getting wrong in the sector
and they will be caught on the wrong foot.

But, with active involvement in the investments, we can
easily take the decision to exit when there is something brewing up. On a
regular basis I have tracked these sector funds which eventually outperform the
broad markets. So, being active pays well.

80% more profits than the SENSEX, would anyone want to miss such a great
opportunity?

20% annual growth rate…. Why is
it required?

The world around us is growing at
above 20%, while the inflation is at 7%.

Education at B level schools is

Medical inflation is pegged at 18%
in official estimates.

So everything around us is
growing at 20% or above. Would this make sense that we have to grow our income
by 20% minimum? If not, over a period of 5 years from now, all the income we
generate will only be enough to meet of food and clothing requirements.

Now, where is this 20% growth
available. The recently published ET500 list, the list of companies that form
our economy, has only 70 companies that have grown above 20% on both their
sales and earnings. The 3rd quarter results that have come out so far, out of
88 companies only 6 have growth above 20%. This clearly gives an indication
that big time growth is a matter of past, at least for the present situation.

I made a small survey of small
and medium size companies, more than 80% of respondents complain of lower
sales, squeeze in their margins and it has been a challenge for them to meet
the enterprise expenses. When asked about expansion in their respective
businesses, so that they have income to match the required expense, almost
everyone are scary that any new investments at this moment will only add up to
more challenges. None are confident to have above average growth rates from new
investments.

Some real life examples are from
INFY and Reliance, both these companies have cash reserves of more than 30000
crores. They have not deployed this excess cash into their existing businesses
because the current numbers from these companies clearly show that they are
growing at less than 5%. There are neither giving back the cash to the
shareholders, as they know very well that, once given they cannot get it back. They
have clearly lost investor confidence to mop up capital.

Entrepreneurs just say that, when
our businesses are not giving the income that is matching the economic price
increase, where do we invest and how to meet the growing expenses?

What will be the answer for this situation?

Whether we earn according present
requirement or not, our expenses are sure, going to be growing at faster clip.

All these situations ask for the
requirement to find avenues of investment that grows more than 20%. Our savings
should be invested in such assets that have the capacity to grow to the level
we need or beyond the 20% real inflation rate.

Investing in stocks of companies that
are growing at more than 20% will be one great idea. But, does everyone have
access to find such wonderful investment opportunities on a regular basis? It
requires in depth research and dedicated time and effort, which most of us don’t
have. We need to have a reliable source which can provide us such great
investment opportunities.

BraViSa Templetree’s research
facility does this exclusively for those who need it. Our research identifies
growth stocks well before they become so called blue chips. Some of the stocks
that we had identified in the past like HCL Technologies, Accelya, Auro Pharma,
Eclerx, Escorts etc., have given more than 50% annualized returns. On a regular
basis we identify stocks that have strong growth, by investing in them our
clients have made more than 30% average returns on their investments.

One important trait of research
houses is that, they do identify growth stocks, if not in the early stage,
still at levels where they have some steam left in them to give above average
returns, but, they abruptly fail to identify where to exit and cash in on the
profits, in the process letting great investments to end up with below average
returns or even loses at times.

Whereas at BraViSa Templetree, we
give equal importance to exits at the right time, so that we capitalize major
chunk of the profits these new Blue chips provide.

Invest wisely, get in at the
right time and be out cashing in your profits at the right period. To get more

Why?

Sentiments, Greed & Fear play an important role here. Retail
investors mostly don’t have knowledge of the best funds to invest.

Greed: Once the
market is up and there is news all around the media that the markets have made
big gains. Only then people realize that they have missed a good opportunity
and rush to invest. But, most of the time media talks about investment, it
happens to be marketing in the final stage. After the retail participation
comes in, just what was expected for the smart money to get out of their
holdings, the market takes a ‘U’ turn. The beauty is that it does not happen at
a clip, it gradually moves down, giving time for the late entrants to confirm
themselves that their decision is right and makes them to hold on. Eventually
over a period, the fall will accelerate and our retail investors have no other
option but, to hold on.

He continues to hold to such a level where the media again
begins to drum up news that everything around the economy is bad, as if the
world is coming to an end. Is this not enough for people to wind up their
position giving relief to the pain they had gone through holding on to the losses?

They get out with a decent loss.

Fear: After
having bitten with a good amount of loss and shaken off from their confidence, fear
grips their minds. They do a resolution to themselves, never will I enter into
the equity markets, there are only loses in it! No one makes money investing in
equities. To support this their spouses would have given their dose of
beautiful responses. But, now they have money which is idle in their banks,
mind does not keep quiet, even if it wants to, the surroundings don’t let us be
so. Then search for some safe avenue investments, which even if it is giving
returns of less than the prevailing inflation rate, they are happy that they
are not losing.

Sentiment: We have a natural tendency to get attached to anything that has a long association with us, we don’t want it to depart. And beyond that is the confused state about ‘what if I sell and the NAV moves up, I will lose some opportunity just because I decided to exit’. In this category holding is infinite, they just forget the investment.

This cycle continues with Greed coming again after the
market makes news about FII’s bringing in billions of dollars, Sensex gives 15%
returns year on year. Companies are doing well, some of them growing at a pace into not thought off levels. Is this not enough for us to put the fear off and
re-think our strategy about equity investing?

While this drama plays out in the retail investor’s life,
smart money from professionals and FII’s get in when the retail sentiment is
dead, and get out when the retail is euphoric. They work like a machine,
churning profits from the ignorance of the mass.

But, equities being one of the best returns providing asset
class, how to profit from it either directly or through mutual funds?

The only requirement
is wise investment decision, have access to research data to find the best
scheme or take advisory on investments.

There are 44 Fund houses in our country and among them there
are about 600 schemes that invest in pure equities or a combination of equity
and debt. The total funds invested in these schemes are about 7 lakh crores as
of recent numbers. The best performing schemes as of today that have above average
returns are around 12-15 schemes. This means more than 95% of the AUM in the
mutual fund industry is losing value.

How is your mutual fund performance?

If it is coming into the later, losing value! Then its time
you rejig your portfolio and move into funds that perform well.

How to find best funds?

It is a process which requires a lot of data crunching,
which a common retail investor may or may not be able to do. But the investment that you
make is your hard earned money and you will always want safety and growth to
it. The wise decision would be to hire an advisor to guide you through the
process of managing your funds. Advisors with performance based fees will the
best choice.

As there is no free lunch, he will strive to give returns so
that he earns for his efforts.

There are some pessimistic news making rounds about whether such
high growth can be sustained and analysts showing concerns about their
recommendation on this stock.

Even if it has to slow down, there is nothing to lose for
those who identified its rocket speed in 2011, investments in this stock has
given a total yield of 200% in near 3 years which is tax free in the hands of the
investor now. When a stock is in flight speed, with consistency, it cannot come
to an abrupt halt, if there is a slow down like some pessimist analysts feels,
it will take at least 2 to 3 quarters to show up.

2014 is likely to be a year for the service industry,
domestic business may or may not be good, but, international is likely to be
robust by all means. In the last 12 months the top gaining economies have been
the US and Japan. HCL has established very strong presence in Japan. Japan is
likely to give a very big boost to the IT sector and it is a niche market,
where language plays an important role. Only those who have already setup the
base can reap the rewards in this market. For HCL Tech, all of these are already
in place. A clear indication that the speed and momentum will continue.

What can be the potential gain from current levels?

The stock has had a strong run up, while still having steam
left in it. Enter on a correction and expect at least 30% gain in the next 12
months.

The numbers….

Earnings
grow above 21% as against 1% last year.

Sales grow
above 22% against the 8% growth last year.

Net Profit Margin at above
23% is lower than what was earlier.

Trailing Twelve Month earnings grow at 3% and Sales at 23%.

What we
infer….

On a broader
scale, profits are not growing to the level of growth in sales. This means the
company is compromising on margins.

On the
quarterly basis, shrink in NPM is not a good sign, and above all a growth of
less than 25% will not make a company a strong performer or a leader.

There are
peers in the same group like HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra and TCS, even Wipro is
showing signs of growth which is above INFY. It doesn’t require rocket science
to tell that this company has lost its shine. Every other day news papers throw
out news about INFY leadership, when the leaders get out of the company, what
does it mean?

for the level of growth that they are used to.

the top managers.

Is this good
sign for a company which led the integrity wave about 2 decades back?

It is
high time that loyalists of this stock take a look at the performance of their
holdings. Sentiments and emotions apart, end of the day you want your
investments to grow, not at a snail’s pace, but at rocket speed isn't it. If
there are any thought about growth, move your investments from INFY to companies
that have superior growth.

HCL
Technologies is a stalwart here at present. This stock has been growing at fast
pace since June 2011 and the stock has gained 400% since then. Think!!! How
would it be investing in a stock that grows your investment 4 fold than 0.60%
growth in INFY from the same period.

Invest wisely, prune your investments when the stocks in your portfolio is not doing what you want it to do. Be ruthless, only then you can be at the top 1% in your standard of living.

Stocks are the scariest investment vehicles for some risk averse investors. Due to their volatility, people tend to shy away from stocks, but, they are very well aware that the equity markets provide the best possible return on their investments. To get a share of this equity earnings they entrust their savings into mutual fund schemes, which do the requisite research and invest in stocks.

But, not all mutual fund schemes perform the best. It all depends on the fund managers ability to identify right stocks and be invested in them and also take the decision to exit under performing holdings at the right time. Some prudent fund managers do this activity the best. And those are the funds that give above average returns on their NAV.

As investors you would always want your savings to earn the best possible returns. But, rarely have the idea about which are the best mutual fund schemes that you can invest, which will give you the highest returns. BraViSa Templetree research team continuously evaluates mutual fund schemes in our country and rank them for ease of use for the investors. Below is the list of top 15 Mutual Fund Schemes that have got the top 5% of the rankings.

Now what should you do with your portfolio? If your portfolio has the top schemes, continue to hold, while on the other hand if you don't have the best performing one's, need not panic, presently the market is in a rally mood, find a right level to exit and switch to the best performing ones.

Now there will be a question of long term capital gains. If your investment is losing an opportunity to capitalize 20% extra profits because you have not been invested in the right scheme, will that not equal the capital gains advantage? Be smart, invest smart, over a period you will realize that your investments are beating the best returns that any instrument can get. This needs a little extra effort, but it pays rich dividends.

Markets keep moving up and down giving positive or negative
returns over a period, which mostly replicates the current economic scenario.
When the mood is euphoric, it can give a return of above 30% and if it is
pessimistic, can give a negative return of more than 30% too. Anything can be a
possibility. But there are stocks which immaterial of the overall economic sentiment
have strong energy and power in them to keep moving upwards.

These stocks keep giving above 100% returns once they get
into the flow and having such investments regularly in our portfolio will give
us outperforming returns on our investments year on year.

What would be the list of such high growth stocks in the

to double by the time 2014 comes to an end. This list can keep changing as the
results from these companies come up quarter on quarter and with the price change
on their stocks. Some can be replaced with new stocks, but, on an average, the stronger
ones stay and perform.

The news headline that I have kept as title here was published in one of our countries very prominent website. It was shocking to read it, why do analysts give out such views? Are they ignorant or do they not have the knowledge? I don't know if I am taking a contrarian call, but, markets are not in a hurry to reach any kind of new high's atleast for another year to come.

We have a slew of uncertainties lined up ahead, US economy is powering up, returns on their assets are increasing, why will the FII's return to leave alone India, even Asia. The person who gave this comment was a fundamental analyst. Fundamentals in the last quarter was so pathetic that less than 1% of the listed companies have given above 25% growth in both their sales and earnings. When the companies are struggling to maintain sales, how will they grow their bottom line? Will they play the manner INFY played, by doing treasury operations?

Companies like Infy and Reliance which are sitting on huge cash piles, don't have confidence in themselves to deploy their funds in either their business or give it back to shareholders and some companies are struggling to grow their sales as the consumption pattern of the Indian public have come down. Increase in our currency will have a string of effects, fuel price is likely to climb up faster than anyone could think off. Which will have a chain effect on the whole economy. Coming elections are already a big uncertainty, the present govt may not come to power, but, is there someone who could have such super control or determination which can sky rocket our economy?

These kind of analyst views put the common investor into such a big trap that, which they are always willing to fall and burn themselves often. Crowd always wants positive news and there are a slew of journalists and media people who feed them what they require. Expecting some one to tell what you want, is in itself a insecurity. When there is insecurity, get out and think without the burden of holding a losing position.

There are very clear indications that we will have a prolonged sideways pattern in the market, which will skin out weak hands. Bring in so much fear in those lazy investors who have not heeded to repeated warnings of weakness, well in advance, way back in mid May 2013. Take the rallies as the opportunities to liquidate your positions and be in cash. Take a holiday from the markets if you want to, from the profits, if you had made any.

Get back when the storm settles to make loads of cash from a market that will be poised to rally and give real great returns. With every rise, markets bring in more greedy people into it, who are left to lurch when the fall comes eventually.

Only smart money wins always, its time to be short and showl truck loads of cash laughing all the way to your banks, if you are not equiped to play the game this way, it is better to watch the fun from the sidelines.

Blogging after a long time. Markets look to correct in the coming week, we have been having regular holidays in between trading days of the week, which will not give requried room for the charts to form and give strong patterns. This week there are no trade signals, last week we had TATASTEEL on the long side, which has almost failed, stop has been moved up on this trade to get a break even exit. When a clear signal fails, it give a perfect indication, that the market is not in the direction of the trade.

Result season so far has been mised, with very few positive surprises coming up. MARUTI was a surpise and IDEA too. Otherwise all the others are just so so. HDFC Bank after holding strong for more than 5 past quarters has come down on growth side. Most of the banking stocks are getting bearish divergences cleared on their weekly charts, which means, we are stepping into the next leg of bear move in the coming weeks.

The NH-NL index which we track for the broad market movement went positive just for one day and has turned negative on the daily values. This is giving another confirmation that we are heading for correction. But, the weekly NH-NL is yet to move above zero, this is again a concern, that the bear phase will continue for a fairly longer period.

We should have some trading opportunities coming ahead.

A group of selected best performing stocks are ranked and their ranks are being displayed on the charts section of our site. The stocks that rank above 90 and continue to be above 90 are the stocks that are outperforming the markets and are likely to continue the bull run. Once a stock reaches the 90 mark, and has a consolidation, trade the break out on the weekly chart. These trades mostly end up as multibaggers. The probabilities of these trades being winners are very high.

Nifty has gone into a sideways range with a bullish bias about a fortnight now. After the hedge fund selling on the first week of October which shook the confidence on both investors as well as the traders, it will take another week or two to resume the upward journey. This week being a holiday packed week and expiry week, there will be big time activity in the markets, but will hold on to the 5750-5650 range. Confusion would prevail, after consolidation, the market is sure to take off into another rally.

The results that are coming in for the second quarter of 2012 is not very encouraging, earnings growth is seen to be declining in most of the front line stocks. Market needs strength in the form of earnings as well as estimates. The slew of results expected to be announced this week should set the tone for the next moves in the market.

As of Friday closing, there is bullish strength on the charts of Nifty as well as on the front line stocks, but with the Global markets going into a tailspin and Asian markets opening weak, it is likely that the market will go into a non-trade zone to begin the week. Traders stay away till there is clarity and good strength in the markets. Take the direction of the broad markets on your trades.

Happy trading, team BraViSa.

After jerky moves last Friday Nifty has gone to take rest for some days from the bull power. Daily chart of Nifty had retraced a minor bearish divergence and when analysts all around were in rejoicing mode announcing next targets for the Nifty. It takes a turn caught unawares. For Intra day trades, no more long trades for some days. We have made good bucks in the last 18 trading sessions of bull run, now its time to relax, take account of the profits made and enjoy the gains.

But, sure looking for opportunities to short or if the trend turns up, go long again.
