Setting Up Your Budget To Maximize Your Time In The Traffic Exchanges!

Something to remember, especially when you work online, is that you need a budget. You have to set a monthly budget and keep it in place so that you get the best returns on your investment. Case in point, deciding which traffic exchanges to upgrade in, how much to spend on credit purchases and different odds and ends to get you the best exposure each and every month.

Here's what I did when I was getting started. First, I didn't have a penny to my name. So I invested my time rather than money. This is a common story online, but what happened next is what really helped me build my businesses. After I started to make a few bucks here and there, I set up a 75$ a month budget. I invested in 3 traffic exchanges at roughly $10 per month. I then got my ad tracking service and autoresponder services which ran be roughly $25 a month for the two. This gave me an extra $20 per month to use on credit purchases and various odds and ends that seemed to help my business grow.

Keeping this budget for about 6 months, my income started to grow and before long I had an extra 50$ to invest in credits, then $100 and then $250 and so on. The main two points I want to stress is to keep your budget going every month for a while. Do not over spend and do your best to maintain your advertising. And finally, once you start earning more money, trade your surfing time into credit purchases. This helped me develop new ideas and concentrate on other areas of my business.

I still spend a lot of time surfing the traffic exchanges, but I can spend between $50-$100 a day in extra credits now, all because I kept with my plan and spent my money wisely. I hope this helps you develop your monthly budget as well. Good luck with your endeavors!!!

So I'm surfing Traffic Swarm this morning and the clicks are usually worth about 1-5 credits with a 25 credit link thrown in from time to time when I had to stop and look twice, I just found a 500 credit link.

It does have a draw back, there's some frame breakers on the site and you'll have to reopen it from time to time.

Traffix Exchange gone?

I keep checking on the site and it's been down for awhile. I guess the owners thought it wasn't worth keeping. Maybe it'll be back, but in the meantime, try FreeAutoSurf it's not as fast as TraffixExchange but it gives more time to read the pages.

Here's a site that will send 180 hits an hour to your site. It has a 15 second timer and automatically advances to the next site. All you need to do is set back and watch the sites go by and when you see something interesting, hit the pause button and read the site. If you have a site that needs lots of traffic, then this will do it.

Of course, not everyone will watch the sites go by and for this reason, then you want to include a site with the following code included.

Free Traffic Bar Not only does this have a great tool bar that works with Internet Explorer and Firefox, but it has code to install on a web page or blog. Don't forget that the entire time you're using traffic exchanges, you're building credits Free Traffic Bar credits.

To upgrade or not

One of the toughest things you can think of is whether or not you should surf for free or pay a few bucks a month to upgrade. If you're like me, you surf several sites a day and the upgrade charges range anywhere from 5 bucks a month to over 20. If you upgraded every site, you could be spending over $200 a month without breaking a sweat. If you have plenty of money, then by all means, upgrade them all, but if you're like the majority of surfers, then you'll need to think about it. It took me a while to start spending money and I wish I'd started earlier.

The thing to think about is time as well as cost. Look at the benefits and features that you would gain by spending the money. How many credits would you gain by upgrading? How much time would it take to free surf that many credits? If it takes you an hour to generate 100 credits and you can get 200 for $5.00, your time should be worth $2.50 an hour, right? What are the results you're getting from the sites as a free member. If you're getting decent results from the free credits and by upgrading, you'd get 200 or 500 or more credits, it's worth it. Some of the sites even give a shorter timer for upgraded members or put members under you if they join without a sponsor.

If you like playing poker, this is a great site. You can wager your credits for a poker game. It's like video poker, if you've been to Vegas or Reno or any of the other places that gambling is legal in.

What I did was send 50% of my credits to my sites and saved the other 50% to play poker with. Then as I won credits, I'd send them to my sites. You can bet 1 to 5 credits per hand and each winning hand pays, from 2X for 2 pair to 250X for a Royal Flush. I hit a winning streak and drew several 4 of a kinds and 2 Royals within 2 weeks and sent loads of traffic to my sites.

If you're a member, make sure you click the site of the day. You get a couple of scratch cards that could pay 1000 credits.

I found an extra item in Traffic G a few days ago. It's a small piece of software called Banner Exchange. What you do is download it and let it run while you're surfing the web and it shows banners on your desk top. It stays on top so you can keep doing what you've been doing while earning loads of banner views. I started using it a few days ago and already racked up over 3000 banner views.

So let's recap, all the time I'm using traffic exchanges, I'm building credits in Instant Buzz, Free Traffic Bar and now Traffic G and all of those credits are being pointed to Ultimate Rep, Cognigen Products, and Traffic Oasis.

The cool thing is that my computer isn't the latest and fastest system but even with all this running, I can't tell the difference in speed, but I can tell the difference in my checks.

This is one of favorite traffic exchanges because it has 20 second timer and an active downline so that the more you surf, the more credits are generated by that downline. This is in addition to the downline that you refer.

Not only that but as you surf, you move up through the levels, starting at 14 and going to #1. It's pretty easy to make it to level 7 or 8 but after that it gets harder and with each level, you earn higher points.
