What are your thoughts on jewelry made from the ever popular bullet?

I am not necessarily in favor of gun control, but bullet jewelry? Seriously? Should I place my order?

Isn’t the cross, made of bullets, just a bit bizarre? Or is it just me?

Empty, they aren’t very interesting. But once you fill them with greenery, all of that changes! I chose succulents for my first experiment.

Once in the shop this morning, I was trying to figure out how to display the “bucket”. Thankfully, the bucket has holes on the back, that are very helpful to use for hanging. I spied my little milk painted ladder, and thought it would be a perfect place to display my new work of art!

I think that it would be really sweet on a patio, or balcony.

Are you a fan of succulents, like me?

While I really wonder about how practical the floor plan is, all I can say is “who cares?”! This home, which is on the market for somewhere around $20 million, is located in one of America’s best neighborhoods, San Francisco’s Pacific Heights and the views are incredible!

Who cares, if the kitchen is on the bottom floor and the dining room is on the second floor and the master suite is 3 floors up? I guess it’s one way to stay in shape!

Each room was beautifully finished. The designers were first-rate!

The ceiling in the living room is magnificent!

The drapes were luscious! But the light fixtures were out of this world!

Yes, that’s a bathroom, with a Swarovski crystal chandelier, hanging from the ceiling, all the way down to the floor! (Note that the shower was not enclosed. The walls were concrete and the tile floor, was one of a kind!

In another bathroom, there was a floor to ceiling, living plant wall. As a matter of fact, there were several living plant walls, that were absolutely stunning!

Did I mention the view?
Or, even the pleated wall fabric, in a half bath?

No detail got overlooked. Eye candy, to the max!

On a much more serious note, God bless the families that have had their lives destroyed, in Oklahoma! It’s impossible for me to truly understand what these people are going through. Bless those little children!

I barely slept a wink last night, thinking about my to-do list for Thursday night’s Meet the Artist event.

You know how it is, when you are getting ready to throw a party, you worry about everything!

I ask myself, will anyone show up? Especially, since it’s supposed to rain part of Thursday. Oh dear!

But, as always, I know it will all work out. Bob is going to be smoking turkey and tri- tip for sandwiches and a couple of wonderful guys are pouring their best wines.

Steve and Jarl are wonderful artists, from Sausalito, California, and just really nice people! If you’ve never been to Sausalito, I hope you’ll add it to “the list”. It’s a gorgeous town that looks across the San Francisco bay, at the city. Stellar!

In other big news around The Treasured Home, furniture is flying out the door! In the first six months of business, I had to get down on one knee and plead for mercy. Now, it’s like….better! Thank you dear guardian angel!

In preparation for the big whoop-d-doo, Thursday night, (Meet the Artists) in case you’ve been asleep at the wheel, I’ve been sprucing the place up a bit! Mr. Wonderful installed a curtain rod for me today, so I could add a bit more softness to all the hard edges in the shop space.

More painters drop cloth beauty, just like the original drapes I hung to cover up my little work shop mess.

Of course a day without furniture painting, is like a day without sunshine, so I gave this old chair some two-tone love. I think she’d be real sweet with this handsome new (old) spindly desk!
