Kwara Camp lies on a timbered island, which is reminiscent of the other islands that can be seen amongst the 1.6 million hectares of the Okavango Delta. While spending time at Kwara Camp, you will come to see why the Okavango holds the title of one of the ecological wonders of Africa. It is known to be enigmatic, soothing, unforeseeable and primitive.

There are eight affluent safari-style tents, all of which are established on heightened decks within a thicket of enormous and archaic African Ebony trees. The native hippos burst into song year round from the floodplain in front of your camp. All the tents have intimate viewing decks, clandestine en-suite facilities which include hot and cold running showers, flush toilets and up-to-date amenities. 

Highlights:

Guests at Kwara Camp can delight in a variety of wildlife year round. The focal point, however, is the water. Relish in the peace and quiet while gliding along in a mekoro through crystal-clear waters, or explore the Godikwe lagoon. At the lagoon, you will find yourself among hordes of herons, storks and other nesting birds.
