Breakfast. Excursion in Tbilisi. The capital of Georgia is unique. It is located on the several mountain hills, on which "creep" the old blocks. Tbilisi - is a beautiful river Kura with its picturesque rocky shores, that flows across the whole city."Old Town" - is the historic center of Tbilisi, that is located at the root of Mtatsminda (Holy Mount) mountain. Almost all of the buildings of the Old Town are historical and cultural sites, this part of the city is round - the - clock full of life, here walk alone or in groups tourists, meet lovers near the Clock Tower. This amusing Tower appeared here recently, built by the Puppet Theatre director Rezo Gabriadze. Here artists exhibit their paintings, artisans offer numerous souvenirs. Basically here are 2-3 storeyed houses, built of brick and stone, that have a particular Tbilisi architecture, distinguished by narrow streets, galleries and carved wooden balconies.Tbilisi is one of the rare places in the world, where can peacefully exist in the Old Town orthodox church, catholic cathedral, synagogue and mosque. During the excursion, visit of Mechetian Church ( V c.), Sioni Cathedral (VI-VII c.), Anchiskhati Basilica of St Mary, the oldest surviving church, Synaxis of Saint Trinity of the temple complex of Tsminda Sameba - the main Cathedral of Georgian Orthodox Church. The rise by the cable car to the Narikala fortress ( IV c.).

There is a special day in the life of Tbilisi. On the streets of the city comes Tbilisoba – the day of the city. Residents and visitors of the city go to the streets to celebrate. On the eve of the holiday winemakers install a special wooden container «satznakheli» on Gorgasali Square and press the grapes. Tbilisoba starts on Friday and lasts for three days. The city is shrouded in a shish kebab, almost at every corner you can try the fresh churchkhela and pelamushi, music of organ-grinders is heard from everywhere. And the buildings of the old quarters, renovated for celebration, serve as fine decorations for the festive performances.
During the Tbilisoba:

• Rafts with improvised feasts will drive along Mtkvari river;
• The "Harvest Parade" will be held at the city hippodrome;
• Concerts of folk and modern ensembles;
• Exhibition performances of Georgian martial arts;
• Theatrical performances – pictures of old Tiflis;
• National sports competitions and games - horse racing, lelo, isidi, ckhenburti;
• Improvised villages from different parts of Georgia will be presented in the Rike park. Here guests can see at once the Svan towers, Ossetian sakli and Rachian ode.
• The canvases of Pyromania and Gudnashvili come alive on the streets of the old town.
• During Tbilisoba festival you can also admire the traditional exhibition of retro cars on Metekhi Bridge.

You are also invited on exhibitions with different products of national craft and works of artists.The most delicious dishes of famous Georgian cuisine are preparing in the dukhan and on the streets of the city. The traditional Georgian feast is not just food, but the same element of culture as Georgian seven-voiced singing, Georgian art and architecture.During the Georgian feast, the table is crammed with treats.
