It is well planned and has perfectly laid out gardens. Terraced gardens, pools and fountains have all been designed and made according to the ancient Indian text of architecture, the Shilpa Shastra.
The lush greens of Vidyadhar Bagh and the other gardens like Sisodia Rani Rani ka Bagh were made by the royals to offer a soothing ambience to the otherwise arid Jaipur city set in the Thar desert,. The golden glow of the setting sun and illumination with fairy-lights give Vidyadhar Gardens a unique charm. It is easily accessible through all modes of transport from Jaipur city.
