Hello! Back with Renata. This blog should be for my final exam but I have so much fun making it. Writing and making content has always been my passion since I was on primary school.

On this post, I will show you some Netflix shows that made u want to travel more. Grab some coffee and enjoy reading!

1. Twogether

Its basically about 2 Korean celebrities (Lee Seung Gi and Jasper liu) traveling on 3 countries which is Nepal, Thailand and Indonesia. If you google it, It have 721 ratings from google user and most of them gave 5 stars rating. Its literally a sign for you to open your Netflix and Start watching it.

2. Emily in Paris

Emily in Paris is basically a Netflix series about an American girl named Emily that moved to Paris. After watching this series, it made me want to go to Paris sooo bad. Feel the beauty of Paris from this series.

3. Street Food : Asia

By looking at the title, you can already conclude that this series is about reviewing street food in Asia. After looking at this series, it will make you want to travel and do culinary. This series itself takes you to take a look at street food in Asia country like Singapore, India etc.

Halo semuanya! Selamat datang kembali di blogku. Hari ini aku akan memberikan rekomendasi tempat-tempat yang wajib kalian kunjungi selama di Jogjakarta.

Kalian sendiri pasti tak asing dengan Jogjakarta kan? Jogjakarta adalah Daerah Istimewa yang terletak di Jawa Tengah. Jogjakarta terkenal karena budayanya, kulinernya, tempat wisatanya dan makanannya yang murah.

Aku sendiri sudah pernah ke Jogjakarta pada Desember 2019 lalu, dan jujur itu adalah salah satu liburan terbaikku. Kalau diberi kesempatan untuk kesana lagi, pasti aku mau. Jadi rekomendasi dari aku dapat dipercaya ya teman-teman.

1. JALAN MALIOBORO

Siapa sih yang tidak tahu Jalan Malioboro ? Jalan Malioboro adalah jalan paling terkenal dan wajib dikunjungi di Jogjakarta. Di jalan ini mulai dari toko oleh-oleh, baju, makanan bahkan sampai tempat pijat juga ada. Aku sangat merekomendasikan kalian menyusuri Jalan Malioboro di malam hari. Karena vibesnya lebih terasa, lebih seru dan tidak panas. Oiya, jangan lupa berhati-hati dengan barang bawaan kalian. Disini rawan terjadi pencurian.

2. TAMAN SARI

Taman Sari kalau kata orang-orang adalah tempat wisata untuk foto-foto paling aesthetic di Jogjakarta. Memang benar. Ini adalah tempat pemandian raja jaman dahulu. Namun minus dari tempat ini adalah : tempat ini sangat ramai. Jadi mau berfoto pun sangat susah. Aku sangat merekomendasikan kalian menyewa fotografer dan tour guide, jadi kalian hanya perlu berpose dan mereka akan membantu kalian.

3. TEMPO GELATO

Nah, ini adalah salah satu tempat kuliner paling famous di Jogja yaitu tempo gelato. Mereka menjual es krim dengan berbagai macam rasa. Tapi hati-hati, saat holiday season tempat mereka sangat ramai dan antri. Mendapat tempat duduk pun harus cepat-cepatan.

4. CAFE BRICK

Cafe Brick saat aku berkunjung dulu adalah cafe baru. Cafe mereka menyediakan banyak spot foto, cocok bagi kalian yang suka berfoto. Makanan dan minumannya pun tak kalah enak.

5. GUNUNG MERAPI

Ini wajib banget sih kalau menurut aku. Waktu aku ke Gunung Merapi, cuacanya hujan, jadi suasana petualangnya lebih terasa dan lebih seru.

Hello everyone! On today's post I will tell you my experience at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I stayed here at 20-22 June 2018. After staying at Singapore, my family rent a bus to go to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It took about 7 hours. We arrived at Kuala Lumpur on 3 am and immediately went to our hotel. Our hotel is located in Bukit Bintang.

Before I explain more, I will tell you what is Bukit Bintang.

Bukit Bintang is a huge area in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is basically an area full of streets, buildings, mall, clubs, entertainment area and many more.

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog! On today's post I will share some tips and tricks on having a vacation at Singapore. This tips and tricks are recommended for those who wants to travels Singapore with minus budget but still with convenience. Lets get started!

1. WALK OR USE PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Most Singaporean use MRT or walk when they're going anywhere. I highly recommend you to walk or using public transport here because its a lot cheaper than using a taxi. Singapore is a pedestrian friendly country, I swear you won't feel bored while walking because the views are amazing and the environment is so clean.

2. BUY FOOD AT BUGIS JUNCTION

Singapore is the 2nd most expensive country in the world. I remember the McDonald prices here was 5 dollar which is equal to 50.000 Rupiah where you can actually get a McDonald at Indonesia for 25.000 Rupiah. But, there is a recommended place to eat at Singapore which is Bugis Junction. This area have a lot Chinese restaurant with affordable prices. I highly recommended eating there.

3. STAYING AT A SMALL HOTEL

Singapore is really an expensive country. When you can get a 4 star hotel at Indonesia for a million rupiah, here in Singapore, a million rupiah will only get you a 2x2m hotel room. So I recommend staying at a small and cheap hotel so you can save your money at anything else.

4. BUYING THINGS AT VALUE STORE

You might think at first. What is value store ? value store in Singapore is a store that sell stuffs for only 1 dollar. Its located at Bugis Junction. I highly recommend going here since it was so cheap.

5. DRINK TAP WATER

I know it sounds disgusting at first, but tap water at Singapore is safe to drink here. Instead of buying water which cost 1 dollar or 10.000 rupiah, you could refill your tumbler with tap water instead.

Arief Muhammad and his wife is a influencer, youtuber, traveller and an entrepreneur. I think his name is not that odd anymore. He is famous because of his YouTube, his content, and his business. He even already travelled all of the world's continents. I hope one day all of us could be successful as him, Amin.

2. Ria SW

I think we're all already familiar with this one. Yes, its Ria SW. The famous mukbangers, youtubers and traveller. I really like her content especially while traveling. Her contents are entertaining and inspiring. But she is currently taking a hiatus from YouTube.

3. Backpaker Tampan

Pandhu Waskitha is a traveller and a youtuber. His content never fails to amaze me. From the cinematography to the efforts is always amazing. Whats different about Pandu is he is a backpacker. What is a backpacker ? In traveling itself, a backpacker is a traveller that brings their belongings in their bags. And most of them prioritize adventure rather than luxury and convenience. Panda itself doesn't only explore the world, he also explore Indonesia.

4. Vagabrothers

Vagabrothers is a brother who likes to explore the world. Doesn't only give vlogs and videos, they also give travel guide and tips on traveling. Their contents are amazing and so entertaining.

5. Shirin Al Athrus

Last but not least is Shirin Al Athrus. Shirin itself is a youtuber, student and influencer. She is one of my role model. Her style, her personality, her attitude and her cleverness is insane. I also really like looking at his instagram and YouTube. Before corona she's usually on holiday abroad. Her contents are so entertaining.

TAMAN SAFARI PRIGEN

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. On today's post I'm going to tell you a place recommendation to visit during corona. Of course in Corona season it must be really terrifying for us. Especially when we're going outside. But don't lie, I know most of us miss holiday but don't want to get corona. In this post, I will show you a recommended place to go during corona which is Taman Safari Prigen.

Taman safari itself is a animal theme park. Its located in 3 locations in Indonesia, which is Cisarua, Prigen and Bali. Each of them has the name 'Taman Safari I,II,III'. Because the most nearest to my hometown is on the Prigen one. We decided to visit Taman Safari II on Prigen, East Java. If you didn't know, Prigen is a district is Pasuruan, East Java. To get there, we use highway through Surabaya and Malang. We could easily drive through Malang, but my dad doesn't like the road.

First, we stopped at Sidoarjo's rest area. We bought Starbucks and took a rest there. The place was so aesthetic. I even took some photos there. Not so long, we continued our journey.

After 2 hours, we arrived at Prigen. Because we were hungry, we decided to took a lunch at Baobab hotel. The place was so clean and hygienic. We took a lunch for a moment and continue or journey to Taman Safari.

In 10 minuted, we arrived at Taman Safari.

Fun fact : Hotel Baobab and Taman safari is next to each other. So that's why some tourist spend their holiday sleeping at hotel baobab and continuing to Taman Safari.

We also bought carrots to feed the animals. If you didn't know the Taman Safari concepts, it is basically you drove along the route to see the animals. You must use a car because if you don't it would be very dangerous especially for the carnivore. But, if you don't have a car, there is an option. You could rent a bus there.

We drove along the way, feed the animals and obtain them. It was really fun.

We finally came to the end of our route. The end of the animals route is the amusement park. Basically there is so many rides and attractions. But because its covid, most of them were closed.

My mom wanted to feed the carnivore so badly. So we decided to join to the 'feeding carnivore' activities. If you didn't know what 'feeding carnivore' is, its a activities where we were put in a cage in a truck and we will feed the carnivores. We were so scared at first, but turns out it wasn't as scary as we expected. We feed 2 types of carnivores. The first one is bears. To be honest, the bear one wasn't that scary. But then there's lion. The lion was so aggressive. One of them even jump above our cage. But it was so fun, it feels like feeding giant cats. We feed them using tweezers so our hands don't touch their mouth.

After we finished feeding the carnivores, we decided to watch the bird's show since it was the only show left. The show was amazing. All of the birds were well trained, all of the audience were so amazed.

After watching the bird show, we decided to go home. But before we go home, we wanted to go to Cimory Restaurant first since it was located in Prigen too.

The route was so rocky, I was so dizzy during the trip. But 20 minuted later, we arrived. The place was so huge. There was a museum, a cafe, and a souvenir shop. The views from the restaurant was so amazing. I even took a photos of it. The menus were so variative, I promise you will be interested. We ordered fried rice, ice cream, steaks and many more.

After we finished eating, we went to the souvenirs shop. The souvenirs shop itself sell cimory's product, local snacks and many more. We bought so many stuffs and souvenirs.

After a long day, we finally went home to Kediri.

Funfact : This is our only holiday during covid.

Why do I recommend visiting Taman Safari during corona ?

1. It have less interaction with others especially on the driving sections.

All you just do is stay in the car. Which means you don't need to interact with other people Its a lot more safer.

2. Its not that crowded.

Taman Safari is so huge. Its around 168 hectare. So the chance to swarm is so small. When I went here, it doesn't look crowded at all.

TIPS ON TRAVELING DURING CORONA

1. Take a covid-19 test

Despite the facts that the destination you're going doesn't require a covid test, but its still your responsibility to make sure that you didn't bring a virus wherever you go.

2. Make sure the destination you're visiting is not a high risked area

You can check on the internet is the place you're visiting is a high risked area or not. By checking it, you already protect yourself and people around you from covid-19. You can visit places with few cases so you'll get low chance of getting covid.

3. Wear your mask throughout your travel

Airlines require that you wear a mask while in the airport and on the aircraft right now. But there are exceptions to this rule, such as when you're eating or drinking.Sure, you could "sip on your cup of water" maskless your whole flight, but...just don't. Wearing your mask not only protects you from catching COVID-19, it prevents you from spreading the virus to other people if you're ill and don't know it. And while you may not have severe symptoms, someone else on your flight could be at high risk for developing severe complications while ill with COVID-19. It's best to think of wearing a mask as a social contract between you and everyone else on your flight. During a pandemic, it's simply the right thing to do.

4. Carry hand sanitizer and avoid touching your face

The virus is everywhere. You wouldn't know if the escalator, trash bin, sink you touched is hygienic or not. To make sure, please always wear hand sanitizer and avoid touching face. Face itself is a main entrance to the virus. By not touching your face, you are avoiding the spread of the virus.

5. Avoid crowded area

In crowded area, there risk of being contracted is a lot more higher. Make sure the places you visit is not crowded. Keep obey the health protocols which is social distancing. Make sure you keep 1-2 meters away from anyone.

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. On today's post I'm going to tell you about my experience at Prambanan Temple, Jogjakarta. But before telling you my experience, I'm going to tell you some informations about Prambanan temple

THE HISTORY

The popular legend of Rara Jonggrang is what connects the site of the Ratu Boko Palace, the origin of the Durga statue in the northern cell/chamber of the main shrine, and the origin of the Sewu temple complex nearby. The legend tells the story about Prince Bandung Bondowoso, who fell in love with Princess Rara Jonggrang, the daughter of King Boko. But the princess rejected his proposal of marriage because Bandung Bondowoso had killed King Boko and ruled her kingdom. Bandung Bondowoso insisted on the union, and finally Rara Jonggrang was forced to agree to a union in marriage, but she posed one impossible condition: Bandung must build her a thousand temples in only one night.

The Prince entered into meditation and conjured up a multitude of supernatural beings from the earth. Helped by these spirits, he succeeded in building 999 temples. When the prince was about to complete the condition, the princess woke her palace maids and ordered the women of the village to begin pounding rice and set a fire in the east of the temple, attempting to make the prince and the spirits believe that the sun was about to rise. As the cocks began to crow, fooled by the light and the sounds of daybreak, the supernatural helpers fled back into the ground. The prince was furious about the trick and in revenge he cursed Rara Jonggrang, turning her to stone. She became the last and the most beautiful of the thousand statues. According to the traditions, the unfinished thousandth temple created by the demons become the Sewu temple compounds nearby (Sewu means "thousands" in Javanese), and the Princess is the image of Durga in the north cell of the Shiva temple at Prambanan, which is still known as Rara Jonggrang or "Slender Maiden".

THE CONSTRUCTIONS

The high structures are typical of Hindu architecture, and the plan of the temple complex isa Mandala, as is Borobudur. As a symbol of the Hindu cosmos, the temple is vertically divided into three parts, both vertically and in plan. The three part is divided into Jaba/Bhurloka, Tengahan/Bhuvarloka, and Njeron/Svarloka.

At the Garbagriha (innermost sanctum) of this temple sits a three meters statue of Shiva. Prambanan as a Hindu Temple was made High and slim compared to Borobudur, with the main Shiva shrine stands 47 meters in the middle of the complex surrounded with smaller temples. Prambanan has a bas-relief on the inner side of the gate around the three main shrine. The bas-relief tells the story about Ramayana and can be read from the east gate clockwise around the inner compound.

Bhurloka

The base of the temples, as well as the outer square is the underworld. It was a large space marked by a rectangular wall. This is a place for ordinary folk, mortals, both human and animal. This is the place where lust and desire are commonplace. It is an unholy area. Bhurloka is 390 square meters wide, it used to have stone walls surrounding it.

Bhuvarloka

The central body of the temples and the middle square of the complex, represents the ‘middle world’ the place for those who have left their worldly possessions. This is where people begin to see the light of truth. The middle world had four rows of 224 small individual shrines, where all shrines are identical. Bhuvarloka is 222 square meters wide and used to have stone walls. This compound consist of four levels, with the innermost level the highest. The first level has 68 small stupas divided into four rows. The second level has 60 stupas. The third level has 52 stupas, and the top level has 44 stupas. All stupas in this compound has the same size, 6 meters wide and 14 meters high. Almost all structure in the middle square is now in ruins.

Svarloka

The top of the temples and the innermost square represents the realm of the gods, the holiest zone, and is crowned. There are 16 temples that consist of 3 main temples: Brahma the Creator, Shiva the Destroyer, and Vishnu the Keeper. Shiva temple is the biggest and the tallest amongst all with 47.6m high, while Brahma and Vishnu are 33m high. In addition to the three main temples, there are three Wahana Temples, four Kelir Temples, two Apit Temples and four Patok Temples.

The Svarloka area is 110 square meters wide and 1,5 meters higher than the central area. This area is surrounded with stone walls, with four Gapura Paduraksa on four sides, only the southern gate is still in its original state. In front of the gate is a small square stupas 4 meters high.

There are three main temples dedicated to the trimurti. Across the trimurti temples are the Wahana (vehicle) temples. Each temple is named after the vehicle of the gods. Garuda temple is across Vishnu, Nandi (ox) temple is the vehicle for Shiva, and Angsa (swan) temple for Brahma.

PRAMBANAN BALLET

We visited Prambanan twice. The first visit is on 26 December 2019 on 9pm. When we arrived at Jogjakarta, we immediately went to our hotel. The hotel that we booked is near to Prambanan. We just need to drive about 5 minuted to go to the temple. On our first visit, we watched the Prambanan ballet. The ballet is staged in Trimurti Building since it was raining season. If its not raining season it will staged outdoor.

The story that is staged is the story of Ramayana. Its about the story of Rama and Sinta. The show is really outstanding. The dancers dance very well.

The show last for about an hour. There is also a break session. In front of the building, there are free drinks and foods provided. You won't regret watching this show. Besides of Ramaya, they also have another dance which is the story of Roro Jonggrang. This event is not everyday, there is already a schedule. STROLLING THROUGH PRAMBANAN TEMPLE

On 3oth December 2019, we went to Prambanan Temple again. But this time, we're going inside. On our first visit we didn't go inside because its too late. We already moved to a different hotel at the center of the city, so we have to leave the hotel early. We left the hotel at 5.30am. It took about half an hour to arrived at Prambanan. When we arrived, the temple was still not open yet and there were only a few people there. The temple itself is open at 6 am until 5 pm.

The ticket prices are not expensive too. Its in range Rp 25.000-Rp 75.000.

TIPS : Prambanan at 9am above is alredy super crowded and hot. For your convenience, make sure you arrived before the 9am or before the opening hour (6am) to avoid crowd.

We bought tickets and finally got in. The weather was really nice and it was really quiet. We booked a car and a tour guide since the temple was too big.

There are so many temples in Prambanan, it consist of :

3 Trimurti temples: three main temples dedicated to Vishnu, Shiva and Brahma
3 Vahana temples: three temples in front of Trimurti temples dedicated to the vahana of each gods; Garuda, Nandi and Hamsa
2 Apit temples: two temples located between the rows of Trimurti and Vahana temples on north and south side
4 Kelir temples: four small shrines located on 4 cardinal directions right beyond the 4 main gates of inner zone
4 Patok temples: four small shrines located on 4 corners of inner zone
224 Pervara temples: hundreds of temples arranged in 4 concentric square rows; numbers of temples from inner row to outer row are: 44, 52, 60, and 68

1. Putuskan ingin menggunakan tur atau pergi mandiri

Ini adalah salah satu hal yang penting. Bila menggunakan tur maka jadwalnya akan lebih teratur dan sudah ada pemandu yang akan mendampingi kalian jadi kalian tak perlu bingung. Namun kekurangannya, jadwal kalian akan kurang fleksibel dan kalian harus terburu-buru mengikuti jadwal dari tur. Biaya yg dikeluarkan juga lebih banyak. Kalau kalian ingin tidak repot kalian bisa menggunakan tur.

2. Lakukan research terhadap negara yg ingin kalian kunjungi

Ini adalah salah satu hal penting. Karena kita perlu mengetahui karakteristik negara ini. Misalnya kita akan mengunjungi Jepang. Jepang sendiri mempunyai 4 musim. Bila tidak mencari informasi terlebih dahulu maka kita bisa saja datang dengan pakaian yg tak tepat saat musim dingin dan tentu berakibat fatal membuat kita tak bisa menikmati liburan.

3. Gunakan transportasi umum dan perbanyak berjalan kaki

Berbeda dengan Indonesia, di luar negeri transportasi umum bukanlah hal yg memalukan namun hal yg wajar. Hampir semua orang menggunakan transportasi umum dan berjalan. 4. Jangan lupa dokumentasikan dirimu!

Sangat disayangkan bila sudah mengeluarkan banyak uang untuk pergi keluar negeri namun tidak ada foto/video sama sekali. Jangan lupa ambil banyak foto/video dan publikasikan di sosial media! Jika ingin memnambah uang, kamu bisa membuat vlog. Bila yg menonton banyak kamu akan bisa menghasilkan uang melalui adsence.

LEGOLAND - MALAYSIA

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. This is my first post and I'm so excited.

On today's post I'm going to share my experience about my trip at Legoland, Malaysia. But before I start telling you my experince, I will show you some basic information about legoland.

So, legoland is an amusement park which takes the lego theme. So basically, most of the rides and the architectures are made of legos. Legoland has a lot of rides, they also have a hotel and a waterpark. Legoland in Malaysia is located at Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Johor Bahru it self is the capital state of Johor. It is located near Singapore.

At 16 June 2018, me and my family arrived at Senai International Airports. We went to our hotel and prepare ourself to enter Legoland. We stay in an apartment.

For your information, Johor Bahru is as small city. It is made as a vacation spot. In Johor Bahru there's not only Legoland. There is also Hello Kitty land, Angry Birds park and so many more. But we only went to Legoland.
After we arrived, we took a lunch and immediately went to Legoland. In Legoland, we tried so many rides and took so much photos.

Besides the rides, there is also a lot of photo spots and miniatures made from legos.

There is a lot of miniatures here. Such as starwars, wonders of the worlds, and so many more.

The theme park closed at 5 pm. We went back to our hotel and took a rest. The next day we hire a car and went to Singapore. I'm going to tell you my whole Singapore trip in my next post.
