This wasn't just any marathon; it was a test of endurance and resilience, set against the backdrop of Tromsø's stunning winter landscape. The idea of racing through this polar wonderland, where the crisp air and the crunch of snow underfoot would accompany every step, added an exhilarating edge to our journey. As he prepared for the race, the excitement was palpable. This marathon promised not only to be a physical journey through the icy terrains but also an unforgettable adventure that would push his limits while offering unparalleled views of Tromsø's natural beauty. Participating in this event was a testament to the spirit of exploration that had brought us to Tromsø, seeking not just to witness its wonders but to immerse ourselves fully in the experiences it offered.</span>Zannniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18205980510308650578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3257442328964866382.post-75848422969696263062024-02-07T02:34:00.000-08:002024-02-07T02:34:04.385-08:0048 hours in Singapore<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b>48 Hours in Singapore</b> - today we will be featuring my home city - <b>Singapore</b>. We wouldn't really say Singapore is a country. It is rather a city state. First and foremost, Singapore is so so small with <span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; line-height: 16px; text-align: left;">710 km² land area </span>that you can hardly see it on the world map. Perhaps the text 'Singapore' label on the map is way bigger than the dot-sized area of Singapore itself.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: inherit;">Contradictorily, this "small dot" is quite an impressive city being so advanced and progressive. Compared to the other Asian countries, cities or European capitals, the artistry of Singapore's tourism efforts also makes it deserving an online guide of how to optimize your stay. In case you are planning a 48 Hour trip to Singapore, we hope the following notes help. </span>So let's cut to the chase and start with<br />
<span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: x-large;"><b><br /></b></span><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: x-large;"><b>Watch this before you go Singapore: </b></span><b style="font-family: inherit; font-size: xx-large;">Jewel</b><br />

<span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: small;"><b><br /></b></span></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: small;"><b>Jewel Changi Airport</b> (also known as Jewel or Jewel Changi) is a nature-themed entertainment and retail complex on the land side of Changi Airport, Singapore. Linked to three of its passenger terminals, the centrepiece is the world's tallest indoor waterfall, named the Rain Vortex, which is surrounded by a terraced forest setting. Jewel includes gardens, attractions, a hotel, aviation facilities and more than 300 retail and dining facilities. It covers a total gross floor area of 135,700 m2, spanning 10 storeys – five above-ground and five basement levels. Its attractions also include the Shiseido Forest Valley, an indoor garden spanning five storeys, the Canopy Park at the topmost level, featuring more gardens and leisure facilities.</span></span>

<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b>Esplanade</b> is where you can experience a real lifestyle – shopping, dining and performing arts. The remarkable and unique architecture, what locally people called it the fruit 'Durian'. There is a roof-top garden, library@esplanade, cafes as well as an outside food court offering the best Singaporean cuisines. Clean, well-maintained yet beautiful sights and well-lighted place. This is a good place for relaxation after a busy day and best to go after the Merlion Park. Next morning, how about a swim at the Infinity Pool?</span><br />

<span style="font-family: inherit;">Some people might disagree with me that this is a snack. It is a common breakfast item with its recipe deriving from the original pancake recipes from India and Pakistan. People also eat it as a supper item. In case if you do not know yet, Singapore is a multi-racial society, pretty cosmopolitan place - and a melting pot of <b>British (Eurasians), Indian, Malay</b> and mainly <b>Chinese</b> cultures. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

This pedestrian only bridge itself offers a good photography opportunity when it is lighted at night in particular. It is not just an engineering and architecture marvel. It gives a very futuristic appeal too. You may observe from the viewing platforms for the Singapore skyline along the waterfront from the bridge that connects Ritz Hotel and the Shoppes at MBS. Walk four kilometers around the bay from the Helix Bridge and you can cover: Singapore Flyer ferris wheel, Flight Experience Flight Simulator, Marina Bay Sands Skypark, Makansutra Glutton’s Bay, Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay.</div>

<br />Experience Yosemite's majestic waterfalls!<br /><br />Spring into early Summer is our favorite time to see the waterfalls in Yosemite! Because of a late arrival of winter this year in Yosemite, the waterfalls are still roaring. Not only are the falls flowing, but the animals have been out enjoying Yosemite during our absence and the flowers are in full bloom just waiting for the humans to return.<div style="text-align: center;">

The first one on 15 is the Jökulsárlón and Icy Beach in Iceland. My chef friend Rose visited Iceland right before the lockdown and she showed me photos of the black sand beach. It was extremely cold it looks, and having those black volcanic sands. The next video is a landscape photography guide to the famous Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon and Icy beach in eastern Iceland, which offers more than just ice! This series is called Photographing Iceland and is a guide with tips and tricks to travel and landscape photography. Iceland photography is not always easy (Credit: <a class="yt-simple-endpoint style-scope yt-formatted-string" dir="auto" href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrWU2BpF6zvRFnkYHDDYHDg" spellcheck="false" style="background-color: #f9f9f9; cursor: pointer; display: inline-block; font-family: Roboto, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-decoration: var(--yt-endpoint-text-decoration, none);">Mads Peter Iversen</a>)<br />

It is right that the parachute's inventor one Faust Vrančić, in case you are asking -- has been born in Šibenik, because of this particular Croatian backwater has its feet firmly on the floor. Possessing a current history of conflict and bombs will do this to a little city.
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimzy15wHgsp7FKg3v9Y2QDbWYEixXSAj75R6Pwkx6oEyMJ5xbX3Rnjp5M1B1O-t1HFs_LEhwGYbXPwjz9_0pvbsEWeGhrneR1bmKYoKAdciQGjGZCNfPEU8_sXjGLy5HAuiNVjg2ggU8Za/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1600" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimzy15wHgsp7FKg3v9Y2QDbWYEixXSAj75R6Pwkx6oEyMJ5xbX3Rnjp5M1B1O-t1HFs_LEhwGYbXPwjz9_0pvbsEWeGhrneR1bmKYoKAdciQGjGZCNfPEU8_sXjGLy5HAuiNVjg2ggU8Za/s640/1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Only 40 minutes up the coast from Split's international airport, Šibenik's journey résumé incorporates great beaches on its own Dalmatian coast, inland hiking and waterfalls, trendy music festivals, and an evocative old city, fine diningroom, a UNESCO-protected cathedral and fortresses utilised in Game of Thrones.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Now, crucially, a top notch hotel could be added to this listing. Formerly, as composed in the <a href="https://www.roughguides.com/destinations/europe/croatia/"><span style="color: blue;">Rough Guide to Croatia</span></a>, Šibenik's only drawback has been its comparative lack of lodging. However, the coming of the whitewashed D-Resort Šibenik has changed that: courtesy of Turkish conglomerate Dogus, luxury digs lately anticipate.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Glinting red-tile roofs sprawl mainly uphill, together with the early St Michael's Fortress keeping watch over event.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
Research a quartet of fortresses</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
St Michael's is just one of four fortresses around Šibenik. Once, a chair to the king, its own defensive castles were still used by natives as recently as 20 decades back, providing shelter throughout the Croatian War of Independence. Now, thankfully, a continuing restoration programme has them bringing tourists rather.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Over into the southeast, Barone's new audiovisual screen shows what fortress life was like because of its seventeenth-century soldiers.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In terms of St Michael's, around which Šibenik first appeared up, rings have substituted bullets: its own eleventh-century stonework and myriad enhancements today play host to a terraced, 1077-capacity concert place, one costing a trendy #1.2 million.</div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
<br />See a Traditional Croatian cathedral</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Šibenik's real historic gem, however, is its own UNESCO-protected St James's Cathedral. A lot of this Dalmatian Coast's greatest structure was made by Juraj Dalmatinac from the mid-1400s, also this entirely-stone-built Gothic Renaissance edifice is known as his crowning glory, even though it was not completed until 1536.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Praise be, particularly, for the silvery dome, representing light from way around. Watch out, too, to get a 71-head frieze, comprising strange caricatures of all fifteenth-century locals. Adam and Eve are there also, looking utterly sick at ease in being really clearly starkers.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Indoors, English-language brochures allow self-guided tours. The highlight is that the little baptistry, and its own sublimely-carved roof and mischievous cherubs.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
Amble across the Old Town</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In the cathedral's square slinks off Kralja Tomislava (Kalelarga to sailors ), Šibenik's most important street. Suddenly fancy boutiques sit some more predictable stores hawking tourist tat.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
What really appeals is the way Šibenik feels really lived-in. Some alleys are abandoned nearly dim under canopies of clothing lines and wires. Old men sit on stools out their houses, wild rosemary develops and wafts of house cooking encounter. Inside telephone boxes, a spiritual sticker promotes salvation.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>

Be aware when travelling around Chile that earthquakes can occur, due to the nation's Andean location and also geological framework. Earthquake track details new quakes around the world as they occur.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
Torres del Paine</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A Unesco biosphere reserve because 1978, Patagonia's Torres del Paine National Park is dominated by the 3 significant granite peaks of the Torres del Paine (Towers of Paine) that increase over it. Encompassing some of one of the most awe-inspiring examples of Mother earth's appeal in Chile, if not every one of South America, the park's towering hills are enhanced by blue-green lakes, large grasslands and substantial ice areas. Four- to ten-day trekking circuits with valleys as well as forests take in optimals, plains and also icy rivers, with difficult ascents compensated by spectacular views over the parks several lakes.
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<span id="docs-internal-guid-a3a5acf0-7fff-ac17-c37e-f589b1fcc1b2"><span style="font-family: "calibri" , sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="border: none; display: inline-block; height: 496px; overflow: hidden; width: 662px;"><img height="496" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/Rp4x38PjpNabxrABQ66toCrpOqGIXbw_-RJRzChaju7AXY6go-RQa3SeRo_2gxzEPymuwxZpe-FnoB6Gd_nAXrkC5sNo1W5_nHZIOmiX7DeYa7hQ4JEUP5xX2N6tM2VKSMZVb7Ol" style="margin-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px;" width="662" /></span></span></span></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For those with much less time, shorter hikes to see the windy shores of Lago Grey, or watercraft journeys to obtain close to the large, sky-blue, icy mass of Glacier Grey, can be equally as amazing. Lodging alternatives are available within the park itself or in the small town of Puerto Natales, around a two-hour repel.
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
The mysteries of Easter Island</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
While many visitors to Rapa Nui, additionally known as Isla de Pascua (Easter Island), commonly make a beeline to the Ahu Tongariki team of big moai statues to witness for themselves the secrets of this most remote spot in the South Pacific Sea, the island is an awesome all-natural tourist attraction by itself.
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Virtually fifty percent of this Unesco Globe Heritage Site's land mass, located a five-and-a-half hr trip away from Santiago, is safeguarded as Rapa Nui National Forest. Three extinct volcanoes make up most of the island consisting of Rano Kao, which contains a spectacular freshwater lake within its crater. There are numerous volcanic caverns and also lava tubes to discover, as well as the Rano Raraku crater, that for hundreds of years was the quarry where the Rapa Nui people took the rock that was made use of to take their spiritual monolithic statuaries, several of which still lie half-buried in the ground today.
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">

</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

Tell Us a Little More About Your Company, LendPlus </h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We are an alternative mortgage lender, offering finance options for those who may not qualify for more traditional mortgage options. We are based in California and currently are licensed to operate there, as well as, as several other states around the country. We love seeing people walk in our doors and leaving with an approval for a mortgage to buy their dream home. </div>

<br />
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
Why Do You Believe Travel is So Important for Business Leaders?</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Anyone who is working long hours every single day needs a little bit of break here and there. One of the best ways to relax and get away from everything is to travel to other parts of the world. Not everyone enjoys traveling, but most can get something out of seeing a different perspective in a different part of the world.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
With how affordable traveling is these days, it seems like a no brainer to at least go a few different areas around the world.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
Where is Your Favorite Place on Earth?</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I am always going to be partial to California, just because there are so many different areas within the state to visit. You can ski one day, and then hit up the beaches and work on a tan the next.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Outside of California and the United States, I have always been partial to different parts of Europe. I really enjoy the history of the continent, and the major cities like Paris, London, and Barcelona.</div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
<br />What is One Thing You Must Have in Your Suitcase?</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Since I do always need to stay somewhat plugged in, I always have my laptop with me in my suitcase. I think most business leaders these days do the same kind of thing. It is just a very efficient way to check up on things without really using too much time in general. As long as you are not spending hours and hours each day on the laptop, it is fine to bring along.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
As far as a fun item is concerned, I am big on dressing like I am a local more than a visitor. That is why you will find a lot of locally inspired clothing in my suitcase either upon arrival, or as I am going back since I purchased some clothing there.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
Are You the Plan Months Ahead Type of Person, or Wing it When You Get There Type?</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I like to plan ahead to a certain degree, mostly because you can usually find a pretty good deal in general. However, there are also some pretty good deals to be found if you wait last minute. I have never been one to want to spend a lot of money on air travel, simply because most of it is going to be relatively the same in my opinion. I would rather save my money on having enjoyment once I land.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
How Can Readers Learn More About You and Your Company?</h3>

The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a heritage-listed steel through arch bridge across Sydney Harbour that carries rail, vehicular, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic between the Sydney central business district (CBD) and the North Shore. The dramatic view of the bridge, the harbour, and the nearby Sydney Opera House is an iconic image of Sydney, and Australia itself. The bridge is nicknamed "The Coathanger" because of its arch-based design.

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Under the direction of Dr John Bradfield of the NSW Department of Public Works, the bridge was designed and built by British firm Dorman Long and Co Ltd of Middlesbrough and opened in 1932. The bridge's design was influenced by the Hell Gate Bridge in New York City.[5] It is the sixth longest spanning-arch bridge in the world and the tallest steel arch bridge, measuring 134 m (440 ft) from top to water level. It was also the world's widest long-span bridge, at 48.8 m (160 ft) wide, until construction of the new Port Mann Bridge in Vancouver was completed in 2012.
The Sydney Harbour Bridge was added to the Australian National Heritage List on 19 March 2007 and to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 25 June 1999.</div>

The Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts is a museum, repository of manuscripts, and a research institute in Yerevan, Armenia. It is the world's largest repository of Armenian manuscripts. It was established in 1959 on the basis of the nationalized collection of the Armenian Church, formerly held at Etchmiadzin. Its collection has gradually risen since its establishment, mostly from individual donations. One of the most prominent landmarks of Yerevan, it is named after Mesrop Mashtots, the inventor of the Armenian alphabet, whose statue stands in front of the building.</div>

Lotte Village is open to visitors in summer, but also in winter during the festive season. It is an exciting place for young and old alike. Gadgetville’s residents spend their time playing games, doing handicrafts, practicing sports and talking to younger visitors and their parents. Lotte Village also has a lively theatre scene. Every day, there are around 10 performances of big and small theatre pieces. Because every Lotte Village resident has their own worldview, temperament, and role, the characters show children how to deal with complicated issues through their own words, eyes, and humour. </div>

Scott Carruthers - 7 Wedding Destinations For The Best Photo Shoots<div style="text-align: justify;">
When it comes to planning a wedding, the first thing that couples consider is the venue. <a href="https://www.weddingwire.com/wedding-ideas/wedding-venue-guide"><span style="color: blue;">Venues</span></a> can make or break your wedding--it can help you provide high-quality, stunning photos, provide you with enough room for the guests, and give you the right space for logistical planning for your event. <br />
<br /></div>
According to the freelance photographer and expert <a href="http://www.carruthersphoto.com/"><span style="color: blue;">D. Scott Carruthers</span></a>, there are many reasons why it is good to prioritize your wedding's venue: <br />
• It can save you from potential weather-related disasters. Your venue can be your life-saver when the time comes that a storm, rain, or anything unforeseen may come your way. Your venue should be accommodating to your needs depending on the season that you're going to have your event.<br />
• It can help you create beautiful memories - aside from your graduation, another milestone that you will have in your life is getting married. These moments are frozen in time, with pictures to seal the memory of the event. Making sure that you pick the best venue for something that's once-in-a-lifetime should be a priority.<br />
• It can help you with the rest of the planning - the right venue will be beneficial to your budget, will be accessible to your guests as well as suppliers around the area. By considering these factors, you can decide on a picture-perfect venue.<br />

There are many ways to protect oneself, but most of them entail escalating an already threatening situation. Travelers also lose many of the options otherwise available to them, as the TSA will not allow firearms or sharp blades on board. If you're looking for protection that you can take with you on a plane, then Siren Guard is for you.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjw73amG412nOERhQoKjam750bopMjQX6xLgwxErRerPLy3CNO3ojBh565wq4ejFCBlfqSWB5MClPiaJmFJcp6AYukcpwBO6wdgCAtp-qJIQ2tpcNCUijeTvSIaQJffOc5_roBLuoVoEPhs/s1600/1.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1065" data-original-width="1600" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjw73amG412nOERhQoKjam750bopMjQX6xLgwxErRerPLy3CNO3ojBh565wq4ejFCBlfqSWB5MClPiaJmFJcp6AYukcpwBO6wdgCAtp-qJIQ2tpcNCUijeTvSIaQJffOc5_roBLuoVoEPhs/s640/1.jpeg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
Travel Dangers</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Traveling is fun, and most people like to think that they are safe while they do it. Unfortunately, this isn't always the case. Travelers are often in unfamiliar surroundings, sometimes alone, and may struggle to communicate with the local population effectively. Criminals couldn't ask for an easier mark. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
Why You Need Siren Guard When You Travel</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Siren Guard is a great way to protect yourself. The device is a key chain capable of producing up to 130dB of sound reminiscent of a siren for up to 30 minutes, so it's very likely to scare off an attacker as soon as it's activated. The noise it produces is piercing, so other people are likely to rush to your location if you require additional assistance. These two factors combined make it very likely that you will be able to avert catastrophe. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In addition, the device is easy to setup and use. Unlike competing products, there are no complicated apps or internet demands to figure out. Instead, you just pull out a pin from the side of the device to activate it, while pushing an easily visible button to turn it off. Personal protection has never been so easy!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
Why These Traveling Entrepreneurs Chose Siren Guard</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Siren Guard has already generated a buzz for itself online thanks to several testimonials written by traveling entrepreneurs. For example, Michael Asimos has a wine wholesale company that imports and exports quality wines around the globe. He has to travel a lot to sample foreign wines, sometimes forcing him to return to his hotel late at night with a little bit of a buzz. Siren Guard gives him peace of mind because he knows that he can use it to protect himself even while exhausted, <a href="http://www.michaelasimos.com/siren-guard-review/"><span style="color: blue;">according to his personal website</span></a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Andrew Dorko also wrote a positive Siren Guard review <a href="http://www.andrewdorko.com/siren-guard/"><span style="color: blue;">on his website</span></a>. He stressed how easy and inconspicuous it is to use, allowing people to protect themselves even if they're uncomfortable with the latest gadgetry. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Likewise, digital media expert Agam Berry praised the product in his recent <a href="https://medium.com/@agamberry11/siren-guard-priceless-protection-at-an-affordable-cost-f0b178367ae3"><span style="color: blue;">Siren Guard Review</span></a> on his personal Medium account. He gets up early in the morning, so he's out and about while it's still dark outside. Siren Guard allows him to feel safe without carrying a weapon, freeing him up to concentrate on his work.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
Get A Siren Guard for Every Bag</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Siren Guard is not available in stores, but you can purchase it today on <a href="http://sirenguard.com/"><span style="color: blue;">SirenGuard.com</span></a>. Since travelers often carry more than one bag on their trips, the manufacturer offers deep discounts on bulk purchases. If you purchase one for $42.90, you'll get a second one free! This is perfect for individuals who travel alone or with their spouse.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you have more people to protect, buy two for $82.90 and get three more free! This is great if you have kids who shouldn't attempt to defend themselves in an altercation. You can also get a total of 10 for $122.90 or a whopping 20 for $202.90, allowing you to protect your entire extended family!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Siren Guard is the perfect travel companion, so make sure to grab one before your next trip!</div>

<a href="http://www.michaelasimos.com/" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="960" data-original-width="1280" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiP9wxxv6VcgOX9TriOYe9NWPsBt1tU48SpiHwtfq9BitkfI5NJT64ed_9E2jBWHT23GEygt3cX6etHaMZT6l2hht6KZd0bkLMTu-j8QPTEyKbgnRMVejsxRiLi9coXxzJJbtCs7QVXE4W/s640/1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<h3>
Maipo Valley, Chile</h3>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Located just south of Santiago, Maipo Valley is the birthplace of Chile's viticulture and winemaking industry, producing some of the country's finest and most famous wines such as the fruit-driven Cabernet Sauvignon. Because of this, it is one of the most important wine-producing regions in the country. Based on wine production activities, the Maipo Valley can be divided into three sub-regions. These sub-regions include Alto Maipo, Central Maipo, and Pacific Maipo. Out of these three regions, Pacific Maipo is the youngest wine-producing region, whereas Central Maipo is one of the oldest wine-producing regions in Chile. Wineries in Maipo Valley use a wide variety of red and white grapes to produce wine including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Semillon, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Carmenére, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc.
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
Corsica, France </h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
With nine Appellation d'Origine Protégée (AoP) wine locations, including the Patrimonio region on the north coast, which was established in 1968 and received its AoC designation in the same year, the mountainous island of Corsica is an oenophile's paradise. What's more, Corsica has an island-wide Vin de Pays de l'Île de Beauté designation. The most common types of grapes used to make wine in Corsica include traditional grapes such as Nielluccio (red wine), Nielluccio (white wine), and the red Sciacarello, which is unique to the island.
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
Alentejo, Portugal</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Located in the southern part of Portugal, the Alentejo wine-producing area covers nearly a third of the country's total land area. This vast region is sub-categorized into eight wine-producing sub-regions including Borba, Redondo, Portalegre, Vidigueira, Granja-Amareleja, Reguengos, and Evora. With a region-wide Vinho Regional designation Alentejano VR, which is like the French vin de pays, wineries in this region produce fine wines from a wide variety of grapes including Alicante Bouschet, Abundante, Alfrocheiro Preto, Arinto, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Rabo de Ovelha. In addition to the region-wide Alentejano VR designation, some regions have the higher Denominação de Origem Controlada (DoC) designation.
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
Hunter Valley, Australia</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
With summer temperatures ranging anywhere from 35 °C to 40 °C this is literally one of the hottest wine-producing regions in the world. All the major wine producers here including McWilliams, Stonehurst, and McGuigan make wine from a dark-skinned grape called Shiraz, which does well in this harsh environment.
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
Santorini, Greece</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This wine-producing region is home to nine indigenous grape varieties, including the famous Assyrtiko. To protect grapes from the winds that blow in the winter, vineyards in this area twist young vines to form a wreath around the grapes.

The Hungarians call <b>Lent the Great Fast</b> (nagyböjt). Since meat is forbidden during Lent, the day before Ash Wednesday is called húshagyó kedd, meaning meat abandoning Tuesday. On Holy Saturday or Nagyszombat, people take food baskets filled with kalács, red eggs and salt to the church to be blessed by the clergy. The blessed food is eaten after the resurrection ceremonies.<br />

On <span style="font-weight: bold;">Easter Monday</span>, also known as Water Plunge Monday, boys sprinkle girls with perfume or perfumed water.
