Before you make a decision about which lawyer to retain, educate and prepare yourself. Any lawyer that does not want to answer the tough questions is probably not the one you should hire.

Finding a lawyer with experience: Wouldn't it be smart to find out what you need to know about retaining top-drawer legal talent before you hire a lawyer?

The first advice that we give is to approach any lawyer as a smart consumer. Be ready to seek other counsel if you feel uncomfortable with your prospective counsel during your initial contacts.
