I was busy as all get out. Working class teen here!

Anyways, today I was thinking about how the kinda person who reads this stuff may thinking about rednecks. I bet most of the people out there think we're all backwards people, how ever that really isn't true. So, I decided to come out with a new segment that addresses misconceptions about my people.

Today I tackle the subject of homophobia.

Myth: All Southern rednecks hate homosexuals.

Truth: In many cases (excludes the radical Christians who I wouldn't consider rednecks, to uptight) this is the exact opposite of the truth. Rednecks believe in the concept of live and let live or if you prefer:

I mean think of it, rednecks are the truest conservatives, right? And what do real conservative want? For the government to stay the hell out of what they're doing. I mean we don't want anybody coming here and telling us which guns we can buy. Therefore, we don't want the same person telling anybody who they should love. We want freedom, dang it. Complete freedom.

I'm sure you could go up to your neighborhood redneck and ask their feelings on this subject. I'm sure you would find out that they're not 100% comfortable with the idea, but they're okay with it. I know the last thing they'll want is for the government to interfere with it. Take it from me, one of my best friends is lesbian, and get mad as hell whenever anybody talks bad of her because who she loves. One thing you should know about rednecks is that we watch our friends back.

What it really comes down to is we don't care if you like dudes or chicks. We'll judge you by the person you are. Other than that Hank said it best:

Spot light on: David Allen Coe

Now this man, David Allen Coe is a raw freaking legend. He reigns from Akron, OH. As most people in the Outlaw genre he started out with mainstream hits like:

But not long after that he broke away from the mainstream mainstream and joined the outlaw mainstream which produced this timeless sing along classic:

Then he went raw outlaw and was very far removed from any mainstream when this beauty came out:

He's a legend, with out a doubt. He's still with us and touring.

Also, he has killed a man. When he was in prison, he killed a man who demanded oral sex from him. Here's my projected top 10 as how it'll be at the end of the year
1. Jimmie Johnson- There really is no stopping this guy. As long as he has Chad on his box he's good to go for six.
2. Kevin Harvick- Simple, Budweiser, get money, get paid, go fast win.
3. Denny Hamlin- The young charger was really bringing it towards the end of '10 look for the same in '11.
4. Tony Stewart- (my favorite driver) Third year as a owner/driver, excuses are out. Needs to finish the year, unlike last.
5. Kasey Kahne- Wow, this guy is in actually good equipment.
6. Kyle Busch- He'll never go away, look for him to stay around for awhile.
7. Jamie Mcmurrey- Several big wins last year, look for him to have more.
8. Juan Pablo Montoya- as much I hate him, I really think he'll finally break the top ten this year.
9. Joey Lagano- Yes! It's time for this boy to become a man.
10. Jeff Gordon- For some reason, I'm not feeling a good season for him this year after that piss poor Chase.

By the way, doesn't nascar.com look more slick this year, I like it.

Stay hard, y'all.

Smell that?

Yeah, it's the smell of NASCAR in the year. Well most of you interweberz may not be so familiar with this Southern man from Kentucky, but you should be. He really is one of the greater story tellers of all time. His songs rarely feature choruses. He's telling a story, all the way through.

Please note they're in no particular order.

I hope you enjoy Tom T. for the legend he really is. But, heck, I can drive now, hince I think I can pull it off. I want to go down there for a couple of days over the Christmas break and do nothing but surf, none of the the touristy stuff, all I want to do is eat sleep and surf.

My plans for this summer is even better. Every other weekend or so I'm going to head down to Mustang Island State Park and sleep on the beach. It only cost $8 a night. I'm going to head down friday immediately after football get there around three and surf the rest of the day. Once the sun sets I'm going to roast weenies over a driftwood fire. That is the life, and I want to live it. I think some weekends I'm going to pull a hermit and go by myself. Other weekends I'll bring a friend. I might have to teach a buddy or two how to surf so I can have a surfing buddy with me sometimes. But, I do have some buddies who do surf already and I'll try to bring them down from time to time. I'm really looking forward to it. I'll post about each adventure upon my return.

Welcome to Uncle Sam's Bail with Out the Bond

Our country's obsession with bailing stuff out of late is crazy dumb. It actually might of been good for wall street because its the same as if some one invested 23 billion dollars in it. But, the bail out for the auto-industry is a terrible idea.

The reason why this is bad is that if they're going down its just delaying the inevitable. If they're going to pull out of this mess, with the gas prices the way they're heading now I don't see why not, they will and the peoples investing in the auto industry is simply a waste of money.

All three of the "big three" could afford to drop some brands. I mean for Ford, they can drop Mercury, there top seller is basicaly a Torus. GM could drop Pontiac, acourse Chevy would have to absorb the solstice. And Chrysler could drop some of there sedan models.

My only fear is what a merger would do to the level of competion in NASCAR. They're already banning testing this year. Well, most of them want that to be cool. I mean the whole new thing is that everyone matters and all that. Others know that bipartisanship actually leads to more quaky liberal believes actually being put into law. People who reach across the isle for practically everything are must are weak politicians who would give into what the masses want. When, in reality bipartisanship is a direct violation for the reason why we vote in the officials in the first place.

We vote in officials via democratic vote so that they will represent us and our values and beliefs. Just take this as an example Senator A is pro-life, Senator B is pro-choice. They work together on a bill to make the limit on abortion at say around 5 months into the pregnancy. That's the kind of compromise that bipartisanship calls for. Think about it from both sides if either should truly be happy with the said compromise. The pro-life would be outraged that any life could be legally terminated at any point past conception. Whereas the pro-choice side would be insulted that there rights were limited to confine when they could terminate a pregnancy to only a few months.

The point is why would you elect someone into office just to compromise your believes. You should want partisanship to the max if you're voting make sure that who ever you vote for will stand up for you know matter what. If you vote for officials who support bipartisanship just expect for know one to get what anyone wants. That is deffently not a democratic republic.

The First Black...........

FIA Formula One World Cup Champion is Lewis Hamilton. He won it November 8th by a tie for the smallest margin of point victory in the history of F1, 1 point. He is a stunning young driver and has a lot of potential. He's the one who will be remembered for breaking the color barrier in the international racing circuit. Unlike in America where black people have been racing in our circuits, the ignorant Eurotrash refuse to give up their racist ways.

It's kind of ironic how we're meant to believe that the USA is the most racist country in the world when a black driver isn't even treated poorly at European venues such as Germany and Spain. However he was treated well at Silverstone, England and in Australia, the Asian countries loved him. But, the typical central-east European bum just won't put away their prejudges. Wake up America, we're are truly the most integrated country in the world. never let other people convince you otherwise.

A Joke I Read on Facebook

Barack Obama, Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey were flying on Obama's private plane. Wow, six, I don't have a life. But anyways, those six are: NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Formula 1, IndyCar Series's Indy Racing League, and the American Le Mans Series. I will present them in no particular order

This weekend the Sprint Cup makes a run down at Infeneon Raceway. This oughta be interesting race and a must see. Kyle Busch has the point lead followed by Burton, Earnhardt, Edward and Johnson round out the top five. Jr. is coming off of a his fathers day victory at Michigan. But really the interesting part will be seeing what Juan Montoya does. I think he'll drive to aggressively and spin out. Also Tony Stewart fights to get off the 12th in points bubble. You can catch this race on TNT, who have done a great job this year so far, airing at 2:30 p.m. CT.

The Nationwide series visits this Milwaukee Mile this weekend. Kyle Busch, despite Being 5th in points will not run this race. Bowyer, the rookie sensation Brad Keselowski,Reutiman, and Edwards are infront of him in the points standings . Milwaukee is a fast track and watching the leaders navigate through lap traffic will be very entertaining. Watch this race as you get beat to death by the crew at ESPN 2 Saturday at 7 p.m. CT.

The Truck Series opens for the Nationwide at Milwaukee. Rowdy Busch also is dropping this ride this weekend to avoid the long flight from California to Wisconsin. The points race is pretty tight in this series with Benson, Bodine, Crafton, and Crawford making up the top five and points. This will be a yellow fest. This race is aired on Speed TV Friday at 7:30 p.m. CT.

Formula 1 visits the dirty, dirty country of France. Only 4 points separate BMW Saubers Kubica with 42 points from McClaren-Mercedes Hamilton and Ferrari's Massa who are tied. BMW Sauber enjoys a three point lead over Ferrari and McClaren is 20 points behind Sauber. This weekend watch for duking out between the top three drivers. But, keep your eye on Heiki Kovalienen of McClaren who is coming off a win in Canada. Kovalienen needs to step it up to avoid BMW Sauber and Ferrari from running away with the points. Wake up early to catch this race on Speed TV Sunday morning at 7 a.m. CT.

The IRL goes to flood ravaged Iowa this weekend. Dixon, Casterneves, Wheldon, Kanaan and Briscoe make up the top five and points. The top three seem to be running away from this. No one from the Andretti Green camp seems to be doing much with the exception of Kanaan. Marco Andretti spun out with the lead last week. It will be interesting to see how he bounces back from that. That race will be covered by ESPN 2 Sunday afternoon at 2 CT. Yeah, thats right the same time as the NASCAR race. Wow, real good scheduling. But really this race is good fore the area that has been torn apart by floods recently.

American Le Mans has the week off following a pretty good 24 Hour of Le Mans last weekend with Acura Taking the P1 class and Aston Martin taking the GT1. There was no American entries in either P1 or P2 meaning Penske stayed home despite winning last years P2. Corvette finished about a half a lap behind in the GT1 class.

Now you you know whats going on in the world of racing this weekend. For the three or for some ought people who read this you'll know how i feel about each candidate on pretty much every issue.

I believe that the Dems primary did in fact harm the parties unity. I'm not the only one saying this, any one with half a brain could see that for themselves. Hillary folks don't like Obama. They see his in experienced. Either they'll come out and vote for McCain or they'll stay home. The only prayer that the Obama camp has getting these people out is the Obama/Clinton ticket. No endorsement from Clinton could get them out.

Now I'll adress those out there who believe that the conservatives won't come out for McCain because he's isn't conservative enough. Think about it, conservative Americans are patriotic and they will take advantage of there right to vote. If anything they'll vote for McCain out of fear of having a socialist president.

Yes, boys and girls, you read it right. Barrack Obama is a socialist. One the other side of the ticket will be McCain who promises to keep taxes low for Americans. Yeah, Obama said he'll eliminate income tax for the lower quatrain of the America's wealth class but that's less than 10%. On the other hand he's raising the income tax for what seems to be the top 40% of American households. Assuming that most of the people who read this go or have gone to a private school this means the spendable money that your family has will go down. That money will be used in a social systems that encourage laziness. Obama has mentioned intent to increase unemployed benefits. Yeah, that will get people out to get jobs. Obama will also tax major corporations in this country who make "to much profit". This is what makes him dangerous. You know who else wanted to control wealth? Do you have any idea? A former nation known as the USS *freakin* R. Yeah, that oughta be some fuel for thought before you blindly endorse that man.

A Redneck's View on Emo Kids.... and digresions to other sub-cultures

Emo kids bring up a lot of memories. I remember my first encounter with an emo kid. It was the 6th and he was the first and only one i knew. It was scary, I mean the only thing I'd ever heard of guys who wore nothing but black and wore make up. The first thing that came to mind was witchcraft. But, when I found out the truth i was way more boring. These kids are the ultimate losers.

Having the one emo kid was pretty cool I mean, at least the one emo kid factor didn't get old. But once I started heading out to the real word (the malls) it got old. I noticed these kids. All of them thought that they were rebels and all. But, the truth is, that sometimes, emo kids make up the majority of the people at the mall. Now, at less if it is a very good rebellion, how could it be a majority. All of the are thinking that they're being unique by being cool. But in realty everyone trying to be unique has gotten everyone to be the same.

I mean this trend started with the emo kids than it progressised to the happier kids of society. Being unique isn't being unique anymore they'rs a hole lot of kids who think they're indie (not the cool Indy as in the car) by wearing converse and tight pants. But, how are you being independent if your dressing how everyone else is. IRONY TOP SCORE. Indie is trendy. Your not being cool by dressing like the chick on "Juno", which I never saw. Wow, I guess I'm the real indie kid out they're. Coming to think of it who else wears boots and camo hats to the mall...... NO ONE, yea thats right just me.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's gotten to the point were no one is that no one is showing their induviduality by how they dress. Most kids dress the same way. Except for a few people, my self included. And those kids who do stand out, like myself, are riduculed for doing so by the kids who pride everything they do on trying to be unique. Now, i guess this is just societal irony.

Mount Everest Trip Analogy

I've noticed something wrong with the male race. See, I don't notice these things often but, when I notice them and i ain't got nothing to do with them, I feel that they must be addressed. Well, I've noticed a lot of bitterness towards ex-girlfriends. This really makes no since, I mean I'm sure there's certain situations that dictate something like this, but what a lot of dudes do, really ain't right. It's like a tourist being angry at their tour guide of Mount Everest just because the tour ended.

So, you and the tour guide struggle to get up the mountain together, both of y'all working together to get to what's at top. Yea, their might be some disagreements on the way their, some stalling, and some second thoughts. But, nonetheless, the two of y'all make it to the destination, the peak of Mount Everest. Once their you really enjoy it, both of y'all. It's just a feeling of accomplishment, and a feeling of being on top of the world, it is Everest after all. You think that that's were you want to be. But than, the guide decides to back down. Of course you follow slowly, not wanting to leave. But, your guide goes down alone. You take your time hoping that the guide will turn around and lead you back up to the mountain, but through the blizzard you can't see the guide, but still you hope and continue to descend the rocky slope as slowly as possible. Once on the ground you can decide to thank your guide for the trip, and stay in touch, secretly hoping that you'll be invited back again. Or, you can complain that the trip was to short and demand a refund, holding an internal grudge, telling your friends to avoid that guide service if at all possible.

I know that this may or may not make since, yea, its a stretch of analogy. But really, it's true. I really hope that if you have feelings like that toward an ex that this helps you put how wrong what your doing into perspective.

George Strait- Leve You With A Smile

Willie Says It Best

Ain't it convient when the great Willie Nelson writes a song 20 some ought years ago to describe your current situation. Therefore a format change in their favorite radio station doesn't bug 'em much. How ever, I am musicaly close minded. I listened to one station pretty much day and night for three years. I remember discovering Cowboy 1190 while studying for my 7th grade midterms. It helped me get a's/ high b's on all of them.

Cowboy 1190 was the only way I could get to sleep with a mind full of thoughts and concerns. Cowboy was my gateway to the past. It's the only station that would play the greats of country. And, no, damn it, Rascal Fatts are not country, damn it. I really don't think I'd be the person I am with out Cowboy. I mean the morals in those songs kinda formed me into being the Nault.

How it went out was kind of expected but still I hoped on, like a fool. The week leading up to the good Cowboy's demise they started rolling promo's talking of a CNN 1190. I hoped that they where just going to get news breaks from the Communist News Network on the half hour or something. But midnight Sunday night, March 30th the truth hit me like a 20lb hammer. They started playing promo music I just assumed that they had problem switching tracks, I was dead wrong. The next voice on what I knew was the shrill voice of a witch saying, "Hello, I'm Nancy Grace". That was the biggest insult ever. Not only did CNN take over MY station, they welcomed the new with my least favorite television personlaity. Now, I really don't like Nancy at all.

People on the VH1 are always complaining about how music in America is dieing. Well, I bet those hip-hop tools would never stand up for the Cowboy. They would let it fade, and consider it lame. They'll probably show country diversity in their line up by puttin' on some Taylor Swift, Rascal Fatts or Keith Urban. But, if they're country, i'll kiss your ass. I'm really going to miss hearing REAL country on my radio. Yeah, the Wolf get's it close, but they still play those sell outs. I really don't think they're going to be another Cowboy.

The last song they played was "Last Cowboy Song" by Ed Bruce.

GOD BLESS THE COWBOY, AND THE COWBOYS WHO LOVED IT.

Movie Review: 10,000 B.C.

*** (out of 5*)
Low budget acting+big budget fx= one hell of a man film

What everyone thought of would just be a typical caveman movie (lost world, 10 Million Years B.C.) turned out to be a beautiful master piece. However, at the beginning the plot moves slowly if not at all. But once it gets going you'll find yourself trying to piece together ancient prophecy of freeing slaves from an early Egypt.

Just if you plan on seeing this don't expect it to be historically accurate. I started out doing that, but than it just turned out letting me down on that. The Dallas Morning news guy also didn't like Walk Hard, so that tells you how good he is.

Highlight: The epic mammoc scenes.

Lo light: The historical inaccuracy.

I'd like to withdrawl a comment

In my blog from the other week I said Obama was a Muslim. It was the Grand Prix of Australia. I want to open up by saying it was different than any other kind of racing I've seen before. Besides the obvious difference, being the type of cars and the accents, there was some very shocking differences than any other kind of American racing.

The first thing that caught my eye was the fact that nobody holds a line. Well, I guess they do, but it's the same line. Which makes passing very difficult and very fun to watch

Also, the cars have less restrictions. Unlike any circuit in America the teams are free to screw around with the aerodynamics as much as they want. The BMW's took great advantage of them. You outta look how messed up there front wing looked compared to the Indy car. However the Ferrari's didn't take advantage of this rule and they kept there wing pretty plain looking. They didn't have a single car finish the race. Also, there is not a set wheel base or axis location, giving teams freedom to pick where they want there wheels to be. But, from the pre race it seems like everyone is forced to used the same set-up through the whole 18 race circuit.

Another thing that surprised me is the diversity of manufactures. Cars from 3 continents, none from the US.

Also, there are no drivers from the US. I was wandering if that means we're bad drivers or something than I thought about it than I came to a conclusion. F1 is the worlds grandest racing circuit, but to Americans it's considered a b-league. I mean, we specialise in oval racing. Road racing is somewhat a novelty. Both forms are equally great and require the same amount of talent.

The terminology in F1 is different as well. They called there drivers pilots, I was kinda thrown off by that one. They have a safety car instead of a pace car. This difference in name makes since. They only have the car come out when a tow-truck is required. They don't use it to pace, rather they follow it to avoid workers and other stuff. Heck, they don't pace at all. They start from a standing start.

Why he's dangerous: Barrack Obama

Barrack Obama has a lot of support right now from young people. Which is more than enough to prove that he's dangerous. Yes, I'm in that age group that is behind the sauces of Obama. But, PLEASE let me be the voice of reasoning. I know that most, if not all, of you guys reading this aren't old enough to vote, but still listen. I want you to know whats really going on with this man. He's dangerous.

The first thing that makes him dangerous is his inexperience. He's been an U.S. Junior Senator for two years. Yes, he served in his state senate for a number of years. But honestly, I think you guys are smart enough to know about what the State Senate talks about. It's all about what to name highways and how much money should go to the public schools. Yea, there's a fine line between funding schools and funding the best military in the world.

Another thing that makes him dangerous is his socialistic ideas. Which is ironic, because he rips Bush 43' for deepening the debt. But, if you just take a quick peek in your history book than you'll discover what kind of civilizations have gone under because of economic problems you will discover that it's all military totalisator (which we're really not even close to) and socialist societies(which Obama wants). Why is this dangerous? Because it will bury the middle class. The rich people will have enough money to pay Obama's kind of taxes, the poor won't have to pay the taxes, and the middle class will be forced to pay it. The middle class contributes most to the economy. Like they buy cars from domestic automakers. If the middle class goes down, that means the whole economy will go on down with it.

I'll just brush over the sensitive object. He's pro-choice and isn't against partial birth abortions. He's Muslim. Muslims can do three things to infidels: tax, convert, and or kill. He plans to tax us, and tax us big, like I said above. He wants open borders. He wants to remove every man from the middle east. He doesn't want to touch Iran or North Korea.

The only reason he has any support is because he plays rock music at his rallies. He's a pop culture phenom. So was Britney Spears. Yes, I'm categorizing the two under the same category. Both have a lot of supports who really can't explain why they like 'em, except for saying "Obama rocks, that's why I like them. And if you don't your retarded". Come on! If that's a guy's supporters only argument for their support than I say Hulk Hogan should run for president. I mean after all, Hulkamania is still running wild and he's a real American. Obama doesn't even pledge allegiance to the flag. He doesn't have a single flag in his house.

Yes, I endorse Hulk Hogan for president. His vice president outta be Sgt. Slaughter. Just, what ever you do, don't vote/support Obama.

My Obsession: NASCAR

NASCAR, has slowly taken over my life. An outsider would guess that there isn't much to keep up with. Than again, they don't call 'em outsiders for nothing.
The first thing I have to keep up with is what my favorite driver is doing this week in the Sprint Cup (NSCS). This means, what chassis Tony Stewart using, knowing what kinda set up he's using, weather the car's been running loose or tight in practice.
The next thing I always stay connected to is what's going on in the lower series. For me this only really means knowing the big names in the starting line ups for the Nationwide Series (NNS) and the Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS). Also, I watch these races. The NCTS races are really fun to watch. It's mainly because they have less horses under the hood, this leads to tight racing, three wide in every corner. The NCTS is composed of up and coming talent. This includes young guns and older people who just haven't been able to get the recognition to race full time in the NSC. There's one big name racing in the NCTS, Kyle Busch. He's currently winning the series. This brings up the question if full time NSC people should be allowed to compete in one of the lower series. I think it's great, he doesn't win every race (well this season he's won two of three). The truck drives completely different than the new car in the NSC. It helps him gets familiar with the track that the NNS and the NCS most of the time are running on later on that weekend.
The NNS always is exciting racing. On average twelve big names run in the races. Yes, most of the time one of them wins. The car in the NNS runs slightly different than the NCS's car. The NNS car has more down force. It's great to see what the future of the sport looks like by watching these races.
The Sprint Cup races make up my Sundays. I watch the three hour pre-race, the race, and the hour long post-race. The Sprint Cup is the highest level of racing in the world. If F-1 was the greatest wouldn't greats from the Cup leave to go race across the pond? F-1 is a great, really fun to watch. But, it doesn't have half the talent that NASCAR does. This can be proven by the fact that NASCAR runs road courses, which F-1 specialises in, but F-1 doesn't run ovals. I would pit the best road racers in NASCAR against the best drivers of F-1 any day of the week. TH ATS RIGHT I'M SAYING TONY STEWART WOULD BEAT MICHEAL SHOMACHER! No offense to F-1 fans, many of whom would agree. I plan on watching F-1 this season. They kick off next week end at the Australian Grand Prix, I'm new to watching F-1 but I'm really looking forward to it, along as it doesn't mess with me watching the Nationwide race.

I Don't Get It: Non-verbal messages

Okay, some guys get 'em others don't. But, regardless chicks will through them out and expect for them to be interpreted. Now, I'm not saying that's wrong of them. I mean understand and I can be like that too, so can most guys. It's just I'm cool if they don't get it. I mean its non-verbal.

Okay so recently I've been getting some non-verbal signs. I mean some where obvious others weren't. But never the less I didn't act on 'em. So, it seems today that the same person is giving me a non-verbal message saying she's bitter. The degree of bitterness could not really be determined. That's just how bad I am at picking this stuff up. But, I really think that I screwed something really great up.

This post by no means is a public apology(because that would be lamed) . But, I feel like crap for screwing up like I did. After I figured out what I did, I never felt so humbled and so little. It ain't no one's fault. Yes, I'm more guilty than the other person.

The point that I'm making here is: gentleman, whenever you think you're getting a non-verbal message, act on it. Don't be extreme in how you act on it, but don't be to conservative (no, its a different meaning, noob) about it. And to the ladies I say, be more understanding if a dude doesn't pick up on something you're trying to throw out there. I mean you can still be upset about it but me more patient. Give him more time to pick up on the non-verbal message.

Movie Review: "The Other Boleyn Girl"

***(out of 5)
It's a story that all of us already know(well the the intellectual of us). But, director Justin Chadwick managed to put into into a almost two hour fairly entertaining film.
The acting was great, I mean it was an mostly Brit cast, and I have yet to see a truly bad Brit actor. On account of it's hard to tell how real they're being. But the non-Brits, such as Natalie Portman gave pretty poor performaces. Maybe that's just because I've seen Star Wars I-III to many times.
It's based on a British novel. But, how the novel is translated to the silver screen was probably a big time saver. It was full of details about the Boleyn family that will probably help me in a book report down the road.
The story line was great. It was full of a lot of twist. (maybe bordering on too many, but you can't change history) It was near impossible to tell what would happen next despite the fact that you knew how it was going to end.
It just barely short of five stars mostly because, well its a chick movie. And, as a macho-e man i will never give a chick movie more than three stars.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE FILM: The heads getting chopped off

LOW LIGHTS OF THE FILM: The middle where basically nothing happened but the dialogue went on anyways.
